Big Sis Tex and I decided to have lunch together after church to catch up on things. She introduced me to Cafe East off of 1960, in Humble. Wow! This place was a poppin'!!! Even though there is plenty of parking, I let Big Sis Tex out and searched for parking space. Took about 1.5 minutes to find one within reasonable walking distance - for us. Constant movement going on. When you come in, you will be greeted by a host or hostess for seating. Helen was our server for the day. In the beginning she was polite, but a little reserved. However, as we took our time, she opened up with beautiful smiles!!! (Like I said, it was a poppin'!) Sorry, once again, was hungry and started eating and chatting before I thought about pictures of the food ( 😀 ... gives me an excuse to go back again 😉!!!) Anyway, did take some pictures of inside to show that there is plenty of seating for a busy Sunday afternoon. Plenty of fresh dishes restocked at the buffet. AND, I throughly stuffed myself with five small plates, not including 2 small bowls of soup and a small plate of sushi! I am definitely going back!!!

Very Authentic taste! They have octopus, baby clams, and huge uncleaned heads on shrimp 🍤, not my favorite. To me, it's a waste of good food😌🤮but, I understand some people enjoy it that way. Great atmosphere and good welcoming customer service. There are lots of options to choose from. They even have beef and pork ribs. Don't let me forget manudo.

I hadn't been here in a while but I was in the area and needed a bite to eat. I only planned on buying a couple of pieces of chicken but the buffet looked so good I went ahead and stayed. The place was clean, the food was fresh but I didn't care for their spicy chicken. Let me know if you need a recipe. I'll do it for chicken.

Horrible staff except for one lady. I didn’t catch her name. First off I came in to get the buffet but wanted to wash my hands prior to eating and the cashier would not let me until I paid for my buffet. I did so then went to the bathroom and there was no soap. She gave me a small water downed soap dispenser from be hind the counter. Then I never got a receipt either. The sides were old. You could tell they had been sitting out for a while. There was no tenders or fish. I had to ask for both. Gizzards were old and cold. They seemed to be bothered that asked for fresh food. Then the AC was out or something. It was hot as hell in there. So uncomfortable to eat in peace. Would not recommend this one. They were saying things in Spanish insulting me. Little did they know I knew Spanish. I called the lady out and she hide never to be seen again. Stay away for sure.

Came here for a birthday yesterday at 7p. The server took everyone’s order and forgot one of the kid’s and then lied about it saying that it was taken to another table & my food was COLD! The only things saved them was the drink of the month, it was so good that I had 2. But our service was extremely slow (even tho there was 12 of us) to be the ONLY table at the restaurant for 30mins. Other tables started to walk in and were quicker to service them. Their food/ drinks came faster lol everything was just faster for everyone else. I watched this with multiple tables that walked in after us.

Stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch, and it was all good. We ordered the 3 for lunch and the 3 for me. Note that the menu was a bit confusing to me because both 3 fors have similar items to choose from. Idk, either way, we order 2 smash burgers, an old fashion burger, chips & salsa complimented with 3 $6 dollar margaritas. The 3's come with complimentary appetizer, the meal, & drink. Total for all 3 of us was $61+ with tip. Fair deal...

I've ordered from this place a few times and it's always met my expectations. Tonight I'm disappointed, I ordered the ribs which is $9.99. What I received was old looking, dry and barely any meat on the bones ribs. How can y'all look at those ribs, pack them up and send out to someone? Quality of my food order tonight was at best a one star.

Yes yes yes please I ordered the shrimp fried rice. Absolutely perfect.and I have been to many dissapointing Chinese restaurants. I've been on the hunt for my place and I have finally found it. Price is awesome portions are huge wait time is minimal and staff is attentive friendly and efficient. This place is incredible. I'm so happy I came and u will be too. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Finally, Big Sis Texas, EB, and I could meet up and talk! She recommended Kung Food Café because it was close to her work, had great food, not overly crowded and great to actually have some conversations. All of this is true! Mr. G greeted us right when we came in. Yes, a familiar face. A customer of my former employer!!! Drink orders were quickly taken. EB didn't need to look at the menu because she comes here on a fairly regular basis. I needed a little time though. EB ordered a small Egg drop soup and Sautéed String Bean Szechuan Style with added beef. I chose the 2 Egg rolls, then Sweet and Sour Delight (pork, chicken shrimp) with fried rice. 😋 The meal was good and plentiful!!! Had to take a so-called "doggie bag" home. (Had it this evening and have one more serving left!!! You can't even buy groceries for 3 meals for the price I paid for this meal!!! 😉😁) Mr. G was open, friendly and attentative and yet discreet... he realized we had some serious catching up to do! The whole set up was just perfect for us! Enjoy this little tucked away restaurant. I am sure, you would enjoy it 😊!

Ordered to go. Guy taking my order kept saying “what else?” after what I ordered. Seemed to be rushing thru the whole phone call. Got my food and it was ok, but I found a hair in my rice.

I came to Jack in the Box yesterday evening Lourdes took my order. She was very nice / polite / friendly/ helpful/ professional. She helps me out with my order. Plus Julexus cooked my cook fast n hot. My food taste delicious 😋. Thank you Lourdes / Julexus. For making my visit. The best one ever @ Jack in box. Both of y’all get 10+. Thank you 🙏

No one was in line when I arrived. One other customer was ahead of me. I was greeted promptly and placed my order. I drove up to pay and after I did it took another 15 minutes to get my food. I had to pull around and wait another five minutes. Then I finally walked inside. Once inside, I waited another 5 minutes. Before being haded a bad with no napkins or condiments. The food was warm and not fresh. Also, I did not get a receipt. But this wasn't my first disappointing visit to this location. Well there goes second chances! Won't be going back to this location again.

Great food and the portions are large. Fresh and good is hard to find these days and they always deliver up good noodles and rice that is fresh. The men7 meats are great! Enjoy! Txtiger68

I love Panda, but dude, if you charge $1.50 extra for Shanghai Beef, please make it premium and not full of this crap.

I found an insect in my food and another man next to my table found a cockroach in the crawfish and the manager only told me that the insect had fallen from somewhere and that he couldn't do anything

Honestly I can't rave enough about this beautiful restaurant. Let's begin with the grand entrance, the beautiful staff and clean facility. The food is just the right price and it won't break you down. People are turned off by the neighborhood, but please don't hesitate to stop in and treat yourself and your family to an amazing experience. Stop by the gift shop.

Okra tasted burnt and was not fresh. Bombers had a funny taste to them as well. Cheese tasted sour. I’m guessing they changed to a new vendor. They don’t taste the same.

This place is horrible stay far away from this place if you can there's things and places that should not be there you do not get the quality of food that you pay for this please is horrible. Very bad attitudes I ordered all this food and you only gave me two ketchups you didn't have any more ketchup you went to the back and came back with a box full of ketchup and gave me two more ketchups which came to a total of four ketchups it is not that serious over ketchup this place is horrible horrible

Taking 1* back because the food wasn’t hot. But overall, it was a good and filling meal.

Mediocre experience. Late evening. Long lines. They were out of more things than they had available. Food definitely wasn’t fresh. I get that it’s the end of the day and they try to predict what will be needed to fill orders that may come, but come one you have to have fresh food and you have to have more items available than not. The employees don’t seem to be very patient with all the questions about what menu items are available or will be available. Again, this could be remedied by having most items available. The almond chicken had a great flavor.

First time here and will be back! $10 Lunch deals are good value and very flavorful. Had Orange chicken which was a really tasty treat and comes with sides (I elected for egg drop soup and an egg roll, both delicious). Chicken was large meaty chunks of piping hot not over breaded real chicken and had a beautiful symphony of sweet and chilli Orange flavor sauce. Fried rice w fried egg bits was great (would be nice to see some veggies mixed in). One request for improvement would be that the veggies in the sauce were great, but need more of them so the meal is more nutritious.

Fast, good service and fair prices. Food was bland though- I got the chicken noodle soup and it tasted like barely seasoned boiled water. Based on the other reviews though, food quality seems inconsistent.
