Great food and service! We ordered the current prawns dish, which was delicious, but it made us realize how much we miss the Long Life Noodles & Prawns. Our server, Brian, was fantastic—knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive.

We had an amazing dinner. The food and the service were great, I wish I had taken our waitress's name to give her the credit, but she kind of looked like Sabrina Carpenter. Lol

Food is always hot, tasty and delivered FAST! Pork dumplings, either steamed or pan fried, are a great starter. The House Wonton soup is full of flavor, serving sizes are more than generous. Great place for weeknights when you just don't feel like cooking.

Food portions are perfect. Prices are very reasonable. Cleanliness is top notch. Waiters..... Let's move on to the food, packed with authentic flavor and not a ton of breading you will be delighted knowing your actually getting a piece of meat instead a piece of fried breading. The jalapeno chicken has a slow creeping heat that is not overpowering. Value can not be beat and flavor is amazing.

Not good. I had high hopes when I opted to go here for lunch today since it’s been at this location for so long, but it was not. The beef and broccoli left me thinking “where’s the beef?” and the shrimp cheese puffs were the right color, but they were rubbery and the inside was lukewarm. Save your $10 and go down the street to Pho Yen where the real deliciousness is.

Legitimately the WORST chinese food I've ever had the displeasure of stumbling into. I had ordered the fried biscuits and was told they didn't have it, which is wild to me judging by the fact that the biscuits in the photos are premade. How do you not have that? I was told I couldn't refund that item, and she was going to give me three egg rolls as a replacement. I didn't want to accept but the alternative was starting my search for food over again so I just said sure. Then I received my order. MY FOOD WAS RANCID AND SPOILED I opened the bag and was immediately hit with a wave of off scents. If I wasn't certified to run a kitchen I wouldn't have been sure, but I knew the smell from cleaning kitchens I ran. It was rot and spoil. My rice was old, crunchy. As someone who makes fried rice regularly I know that the texture I received for my white rice is because it was day old rice they just reheated. LIST OF AFFECTED ITEMS: FRIED RICE(SHRIMP) EGG ROLLS(CABBAGE) ORANGE CHICKEN(POULTRY) SESAME CHICKEN(POULTRY) So I decided to put my money where my mouth is. I ate a bit of it. The chicken was dry and tasted off but was covered in sauce so it was hard to place, regardless it was disappointing at best and they need to change their oil. The eggrolls were definitely off, the cabbage inside was ruined, someone either let them sit or left them out of the freezer. And the shrimp in my fried rice was absolutely spoiled. To have this degree of spoil your refrigeration system is faulty; either on the line, or in deep storage. So many other before me have said similar things. Heed my warning. Don't eat here.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Fairfield. Food. The portions are good and delicious, there is always something for everybody. Prices on all the menu are reasonable. Service. Always friendly and attentive. It doesn't matter if you are there to dine in or to pick up your take out order, you are always welcome with a smile. Atmosphere. The place is small, but welcoming and seating haven't been a problem for me and my family. In conclusion, this is an amazing neighborhood restaurant with excellent food and very nice service. The cost-benefit ration here is just great.

This place is small but mighty the food here is so so delicious, with a touch of class . The price is very reasonable for such a good meal. Try and be hooked

We have been staying in Waller since hurricane Beryl. These Google reviews don't disappoint about Yang's! Visited around 5pm and there was no one in the dining room. So I admit I was skeptical. I ordered the chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and wonton soup. MY GOODNESS I was super happy with taste and presentation and portion sizes. Everything was made hot and delicious while I waited and when I made it back to our hotel room the taste did not disappoint. I would and probably will drive from Houston to visit again. So delish!!

What a gem in disguise! Food is absolutely wonderful. We were traveling on a Friday night and worried a bit, being the only guests there, but took a chance and it paid off. (Buffet is lunch only BTW! And they do a brisk take away business) Hot and Sour Soup is hearty and full of good stuff with a rich full bodied broth. Egg Drop Soup is rich and creamy with lots of flavor. Orange Chicken is large chunk chicken, white meat, with a thick, not too sweet, sauce that compliments the flavor of the lightly battered pieces perfectly. I ordered mine spicy and it was perfect, my daughter ordered regular and loved it. Sweet and Sour Combo was chicken and shrimp, perfectly fried and served with a deep red sauce. Beef Chungking is a mix of beef, mushrooms and onions in a really nice brown sauce. It's labeled as spicy on menu but didn't come across until about half way in when my husband realized the spice crept in slowly, but it was there! Egg(spring) rolls were very tasty. Not at all greasy and the Rangoon puffs weren't either. We all enjoyed our dinner and we dropped a pin for another trip through!

Went here last night for dinner with my Aunt and 4 kids and boy what a horrible mistake it was! Not only did the food taste disgusting, they were all either overcooked or old. Ice cream machine wasn’t working, cheesecake was dry, wonton soup was not how it’s supposed to be, crawfish was cleaned but inside you can tell they were bad due to the color and the seasoning was terrible. Server made me uncomfortable with her staring the whole time we were there and her persona wasn’t very pleasing. So much went wrong with dinner here last night that we went home with stomachache. Aunt and 2 of my kids had diarrhea and vomiting. We basically had a $90 bill to get sick. If I can give a negative 5⭐️ that would sum it up.

Surprisingly decent selection for a small buffet for this. I went in with low expectations so I was a bit surprised to find that they served clams. That's the money item there, in my opinion! They clams were pretty clean, too (a lot of times, buffets will have gritty/sandy clams). I definitely ate until I was full. Pretty good price for lunch. The inside seemed pretty clean, so you can't really ask for more.

Gave this place another chance not too long ago after years of not eating here I wasn’t too impressed the food remains bland they have rules about not serving yourself “too much sea food” in your take out plate or it will be a higher price. The price itself for the take out plate was not bad at all you just have to mix it up with meat & seafood. The plate was not weighted you just pay a set price (I believe I paid $13) for the plate and I filled it all the way up.

The dining area is old and run down. A musty odor greets you at the door and is present the entire visit. The food is sparse, cold, and unappealing in the buffet. The cooks are not even Asians. The waitresses worked hard our entire visit. The owners would do great to convert to take out only. The 3.8 rating they had the day we visited was generous.

I usually order the honey seasme chicken breast with 1/2 fried rice & 1/2 chow mein. Now, I order 1/2 with super green. This plate with the entrees is delicious 😋

Quality has changed. You no longer can get extra egg(even if you pay for it). They take cash only and the restaurant smells weird 24/7

In my search for good Chinese food I came across this place, granted I wasn’t thinking this would blow my mind but possibly decent fast food. This is the first time I’ve eaten here so I had no expectations but crossing my fingers that it was good. This place wasn’t fancy but the lady that took my order was nice. Now about the food, it was ok. The food needed seasoning but for the most part it was fresh. I ordered pork lo mein, Kung por chicken, General Tso’s chicken, egg rolls and these shrimp cheese puffs. The chicken orders came with “fried rice” (it didn’t not look/taste like fried rice) and the filling on the shrimp cheese puffs wasn’t bad but the wrap was so hard it broke a tooth. I don’t think I’d come back unless I didn’t want to drive anywhere. I do have to say price wasn’t bad $25 for everything.

We learned that this restaurant has been under new management since early February 2025, and we decided to check it out for lunch today. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! We even had the chance to chat with the new owner. They're planning updates to the furniture, carpet, and paint very soon! Be sure to visit and support this local gem!

My mom who normally is very picky with her food really enjoyed her meal today! Sushi selection was very fresh and has good variety. The quality of food is superb and delicious. Will return to try the dinner buffet.

They totally messed up my family’s order. I ordered shrimp vegetable with shrimp fried rice and look at what I got. SMH NEVER AGAIN!!! Food was dry and salty. If I could give a zero I definitely would. Tried calling the restaurant to correct order no one ever answered after many attempted calls.

One of the best restaurants with quality food. I’m not exaggerating when I say that imperial union has been a family tradition in my house for over 10 years. I thought the plates were big growing up but as I grew older the plates were still considered to be big. You get more than what you paid for here the orange chicken is delicious and you cannot beat their crab puffs. Also their staff is very hard-working, most fast food places were closed due to hurricane Nicolas but this business took precautions and the right measures, in order to keep their business afloat. They even have a generator to keep their kitchen going. Now that is a business I can get behind. The pricing is fair if not underpriced. Their food is really good, highly recommend. I ordered the Orange Chicken that came with a choice of steamed/fried rice. Also I bought some crab puffs because who doesn’t love them 🔥👅❤️
