In general, the food was satisfactory. I've experienced superior dining options elsewhere and hoped for more quality given the cost. My children enjoyed their meals, but personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. It serves as a decent local spot if you're in the area, offering a selection of ramen and related dishes. However, if your budget allows, I'd suggest dining at a different establishment. The service was adequate, with no significant issues to note. The atmosphere could use some improvement. A three-star rating isn't terrible; the restaurant just didn't impress me.

Restaurant was highly recommended and the portion of the food is great for the price but unfortunately the food didn’t sit well with me. The sour dumplings appeared to be old, we did go towards the end of the day. The general chicken had an off putting taste but thought the sauce was not mixed well. Figured since there were a lot of guest everything was made fresh. Soon after we left I was so sick & miserable as I had gotten food poisoning. I called and spoke to the manager and she was very apologetic and was going to speak with the kitchen crew.

Decided to have lunch with my wife here and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the hunian beef and the shrimp lo mein. The beef was tender and the sauce rich in flavor with a very manageable heat the side of fried rice was what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The shrimp lo mean was done perfectly. Noodle were soft but enough bite for a good texture. The shrimp was cooked well and not over done. The staff was friendly and responsive to request. I would recommend you try this place out if you want chines food that is good and quick.

First time trying this spot and was really surprised at the menu and the food that we ordered. Still has that old jack in the box vibe to it. But overall good food, good service.

This place is wonderful, we’ve been here quite a few times and every time we come, we definitely always get the bok choy, we’re always trying new dumplings and other dishes. Definitely suggest anybody that loves dumplings and bok choy to come out and try this location!

I had an awesome lunch here today. I saw the business while driving by and decided to stop and give it a try. So glad I did, everything was fresh and flavorful. The young man attending to me was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. This is the best I have had outside of Chinatown.

Okay, let me first say that for a strip mall Mom and Pop type restaurant they have a very extensive menu selection. The food was pretty darn good. One of the best in the area. I enjoyed everything I ordered including the egg rolls which I'm not a huge fan of generally. I cannot attest to the table service, the service I had was in having my order ready for pick-up and checking me out. Which was average, neither outstanding or friendly, nor rude. Just completed as ordered and transactional. Atmosphere, again it's a strip mall Chinese food restaurant where I picked up a called in order, but what I saw seemed to be clean, tidy, and serviceable. Nothing made it stand out, I don't remember anything above what might be seen in any other similarly themed restaurants. They do offer a limited delivery area. I was within 5 miles of the restaurant and I was outside their delivery area. Would I go back again? Yes, I would consider it, but I might also continue to look for some place that delivers to me that I like equally as well.

Food portions are good for the dinner meals. Taste was good and food quality was good . Fried chicken was good and fresh , similar to 888 . So was orange and sesame chicken. Cheese puffs were generously stuffed. Wonton soup had good flavor but a bit salty . I will come again

Order chicken wings and shrimp fried rice .. My chicken was pink .. They have way to much breading on the wings so the inside was definitely not cooked all the way and the rice was sooo bland.. The rice did have a lot of shrimp that’s only good thing about it. Define won’t go back

Staple Chinese takeaway. We’ve been ordering take out from this place over the past few years. The menu options are sensible and prices as expected. Today we decided to dine in, and despite multiple take orders the restaurant was deadly silent at 7pm on a Saturday night. That’s both a good and a bad thing, with no background sound there was no character no personality. The wait person was attentive and the food good. Perhaps dining in with a large group would be nice, for couples it’s just a touch to bland.

From entering inside establishment, the smell is enticing and ambience is comfortable. The food looks fresh, the prices are perfect, and the customer service is exceptional! If I had one note of feedback, it would be to turn the AC on in the dining area. It was a little warm. The food was very well portioned. We had left overs for later. Restrooms were well maintained and very clean. Super friendly staff!! We will be back and recommend others!

For the price they offer the food is amazing! If you go in unsure about the options, the option to sample them is there! Every time I go there, I find a new dish that I end up loving. The portions are very generous, and the customer service is really nice. Definitely a to go spot for Chinese food for me. Favorites: Salt & Pepper Shrimp and Bourbon chicken

I love this place! Been coming here whenever I'm craving for Asian food. They already know what I usually get. Best service in the area with great food. Highly recommend this if you're in cypress area

Went here upon recommendation from another foodie friend. Very small and unassuming little space. We were greeted promptly and seated. Minimalist decor and very clean establishment. We just had a couple items to try and they were excellent is taste and presentation. We had the beef wrap, lamb with cumin and the Taiwanese noodle soup. Beef wrap consisted of thinly sliced beef with scallions and cilantro wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't served with a sauce and that was a bit disappointing. It definitely needs a dipping sauce. The lamb with cumin was spicy and delicious. The fragrance and taste of the spice was telling. Lamb was tender. Onions a bit overcooked for my preference but overall a very tasty dish. Not something that you find at any Asian restaurants... will try the beef with cumin next time. And now..drum roll please...the Taiwanese noodle soup was awesome and really hit the spot for me. They have 3 levels of spicy and I chose number 2. You are forewarned that it is extremely spicy and contains ghost pepper. It was well seasoned and I got about 5 chunks of beef. I did miss not having a bit more veggies to go with the soup. For a fiery spice addict such as myself... it was something to remember. I couldn't drink all the broth because it was a bit overwhelming after some time. All in all, super pleasant experience, awesome food and pleasant service. Will definitely be returning. Do give it a try.

The pork lo mein was great as was the shrimp fried rice. Huge portions of each, too. The prices are more than fair. Wish I could take this place everywhere I go!

I don’t write reviews but I love this place and I see people not being truthful. Saying the combo plate is $15 for just chicken and rice is a FAT LIE. You get everything I showed in the picture for less than $10. General Tso combination comes w/ 1. More than 6 pieces of chicken (as it shows 2. Big scoop of rice 3. Egg roll 4. Choice of soup Buy $18 worth and u get it delivered for free. I always tip because I’m getting such a huge amount of food for cheap. They take an hour AT MAX. Usually 30 minutes tho (I’m not super far, 15 min max) Food is amazing and every time I ask for it to be prepared a certain way they do it.

A very solid Chinese restaurant serving freshly cooked Szechuan style cuisine. We took our family of 7 there and everyone enjoyed the different dishes. The flavors were great! with the egg noodles in the lo mein was freshly made because there’s a significant difference in flavor. The quantity was good for the amount of price you paid. The reason why this restaurant doesn’t get a 5-STAR is because there are a couple Szechuan locations throughout Houston that are cranking out five star Szechuan cuisine. Also the service is a four star. although there’s only three tables, the server was very busy to give good quality attention to filling water and being attentive to the dining in patrons. Maybe the to-go orders were keeping her very busy. overall atmosphere is a three star. When you have no paper towels and no hand dryer and the urinal has a trash bag over it your restaurant gets docked points. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

The house special Singapore noodles were delicious. Love the wonton soup. Wasn’t soggy and falling apart. The wings were fried to perfection. The only pointer I would give is the wings don’t have a specific flavor. I would suggest putting some salt and pepper on the side at minimum. Overall, really tasty. Definitely will be back.

I called in my order over the phone and when I arrived my food was ready. This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants to go to the service is always prompt and fast! The staff is friendly and helpful!

We came here the other day as a party of 4. The place is clean and has a chill atmosphere, it's a little bare inside with basically no pictures or wall decor which made it feel a little too much like a fast food chain. They offer pickup and drive thru which is nice. Despite being understaffed a server sat us down as soon as we entered. I will give along of credit to our server she was doing everything from serving us to cleaning tables and working the drive thru, I was impressed. Their menu had a good selection of food and the portions are rather generous and the price is reasonable. I had sweet and sour chicken and it was more Americanized than traditional. The chicken was a little under salted and the batter could have been crispier. Other than that it was okay. The fried rice was tasty. I would say all in all it is a good place to eat.

China 9 is family owned and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Food always rocks, and lunch and dinner specials are definitely worth it. Honey walnut chicken is great. Crab puffs are me and my coworkers’ fave. I come here like once a week. 😙

This place is the best in the area. As a kid growing up Chinese food was comfort food and this place brings back the nostalgia. This is the quintessential Chinese food place with a relaxing atmosphere and overall comforting vibe. The prices are reasonable and the food is always great and consistent. The customer service is fantastic. I placed an order to-go and it was ready in about five minutes. Not really sure what else you could ask for, but I hope this place sticks around forever.

Very good. Loved the Orange chicken, very flavorful and crunchy. The hot and sour soup was really good, wasn't watered down I always hope for more tofu but either way was very delicious. Not a fan of the rice, I think it was brown rice I will order fried rice separate next time to see if I ordered the wrong thing by mistake? Anyway yummy! My mouth, taste buds and stomach are happy, coming back!! Love the year of the pig too very beautiful
