King's Kitchen
This roast duck restaurant is truly a hidden gem! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the delightful aroma that instantly whets your appetite. The roast duck is perfectly cooked with a crispy, golden skin and tender, juicy meat that melts in your mouth. Each bite is infused with rich spices and a unique smoky flavor that leaves you wanting more. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who always greet you with a smile. The restaurant's environment is clean and comfortable, making you feel right at home. Besides the roast duck, their side dishes are also noteworthy, especially the plum sauce, which is the perfect sweet and tangy complement to the duck. Overall, this is a restaurant worth visiting again and again. Whether you're dining with family or catching up with friends, it's an ideal choice. Highly recommended for any roast duck enthusiast!
BBQ meats are delicious and still warm upon hitting our table. The fried dough rice rolls have the perfect crunch on the inside with the softness on the outside. Snow pea shoots with garlic were fresh. The eel claypot rice was excellent! Very attentive service and clean atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back soon. Food quality is comparable to Toronto Canada 😋
Xi'an Famous Foods 西安名吃 | Chelsea
Food was delicious. My girlfriend and I split a pork noodle and cucumber salad. The noodles were really good. A bit hard to eat as they are so long but just be careful not to get the oil on you. There was more cucumber in the noodles than I expected. The cold salad and a tea helped with the spice level. We would certainly return. It’s more of a fast food type with paper plates and plastic bowls/containers. Order on the tablets if you are paying with card.
Absolutely delicious! On a five-day visit I chose to eat here twice. I ate the Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles and they were delicious both times. I would encourage taking the CEO's suggestion, do order the standard spice. It's a medium heat that builds flavour and level to the dish. Yum. Nice crunchy celery bites, cabbage, and red onion. Be prepared to slurp and enjoy it! I tried their unsweetened jasmine tea my second visit and really enjoyed too. Clean restroom for customers. 🙂
Yun Nan Flavour Garden
Exceptional crossing the bridge noodles. Great flavor, nice presentation, friendly service, no wait to eat here and food came fast, good price. We enjoyed all the food here and would highly recommend to anyone in search of a hole in the wall, no frills, peacefully silent noodle meal. Enjoy!
I like this place authentic Yunnan food! Very traditional Chinese restaurant with all wood round table and crystal lamps.
Zheng Jin Ji 郑锦记 Fuzhou Cuisine
I was exploring this Chinatown during my vacation. I was amazed this community had cuisines from many different provinces and dialects of Asia that I was not familiar with. This place offers two Fuzhou dishes that I never heard of or tried before. One is filled with meat and the other is cooked with lotus roots. Surprisingly, they weren't oily. Both are stuffed with ingredients.
Stumbled across this eatery for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. We got the fish ball soup, pickled pork sesame bun and the flat rice noodle with spicy pork. Fish balls were large and very clean tasting. The soup was pepper forward but I liked that. Might be one of my favorite fj fish balls ever. The flat rice noodle with spicy pork was very good. The mala spice came through but wasn’t overally spicy. The bun was good too but meat was just slightly dry. Nothing some vinegar couldn’t fix though. Great meal. Would return.
Dim Sum Chelsea
Nice ambiance and a quiet place, with comfy booths. Disappointing cuisine. Some Chinese food favorites like moo shoo vegetables (mostly cabbage), ribs and roast duck have overly heavy sauces and the dim sum dumplings, while well priced, have very thick dough. Popular for local takeout.
With so many restaurant options, Dim Sum Chelsea could be your next repeat choice. The Mongolian beef is delicious and an excellent choice, coupled with an order of vegetable lo mein and a pot of jasmine tea — you can't go wrong. Your order is taken swiftly and the atmosphere is normally quiet. Dim Sum Chelsea has earned my next visit.
Yozi 游子老鸭粉丝汤
while I appreciate the quick ordering and timing of food arrival, the food was not great. this seems like a place to grab a quick bite, with many large groups and young adults, not a place to get quality food. the best dish was the shrimp wontons, with good texture but slightly a salty and with tons of msg. the fried dumplings tasted fine but it was cooked with a LOT of oil. was excited to eat the sour and spicy noodles but they were not sour at all - mainly mala spicy. the problem was, I ate a quarter of the dish just to find 2 baby roaches. PSA: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION to what you're eating.
great service and food. The prices are amazing for the food you’re getting. Portion sizes are reasonable & there’s a self service station for sauces and utensils. Tipping is optional and recommended - great deal for NYC !
Golden Chop Sticks Inc
Coming from a Chinese foodie, this is THE classic AUTHENTIC Chinese comfort food. You pick 4 sides and you'll receive a side of rice and soup for only $8. The sides rotate on a daily basis and it really could be hit or miss. However, the side of marinated fried fish we got tasted odious and unpleasant. Would recommend but beware of language barriers.
Recently moved to the area and found this place for a quick lunch. How do you beat rice, four sides, and a cup of broth for $8?! The process is easy: Pay, they give you a tray, then just point to what you want from the buffet—and they're really efficient!
Lian Sheng
麻辣烫很好吃,服务超级好!一直周去了三次!I’m obsessed with the spicy hot pot here—I went three times in one week, and I’m not even sorry about it! The flavors are rich, satisfying, and totally hit the spot every single time. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The environment is clean, cozy, and really nicely done. Also… don’t skip the appetizers! Everything I tried was delicious, and the salt & pepper fried chicken (Yansuji) is a must-order. Honestly, this place has become one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend if you’re into bold flavors and good vibes!
She will give you a shit if you only order one plate from them. Rude and unhappy on her face.
Chef Yu
Chef Yu is a fantastic spot for Chinese food in NYC! The hot and sour soup was absolutely delicious, with just the right balance of flavors. I also appreciated that the cocktails were reasonably priced, which is a nice bonus in the city. But the real star here is the food—it was very good, exceeding my expectations in every way. I’m already looking forward to returning the next time I’m in the city. If you’re craving quality Chinese food, Chef Yu is a must-visit!
Stopped in and had an amazing lunch here with some friends. It wasn’t too busy, very nice environment, everyone is very friendly, staff is quick and can be a bit pushy but to as bad as some places I have been to. The Brunch drinks are worth it and the food wow, it was amazing. Overall I would say please stop by and enjoy. This place has been here through a lot and before the pandemic it was very hard to even get in the door. When you come you will understand why.
Panda Express
I have never tried Panda Express before but when I did my experience has really good the staff was very friendly and helpful the food is delicious got different options and I got the blazing bullion chicken with the orange chicken and vegetable fried rice but the vegetable fried rice has egg in it and vegetables in it which is amazing.. The blazing bouillon chicken is nice and spicy and the food is absolutely delicious I just wish they would give u double the portions LOL.. Now as far as the egg rolls there's two different options vegetable and chicken which are both good but I have never tried a chicken egg roll and I could say that it was really good. My only critique about this place is that they don't give you any sauce when they put the food in the bag.
When this location gets busy. They tend to rush and undercook the food which is not cool. Either poor management or short staff I'm not sure what the problem is. They also start closing the restaurant way too early. 2 hours before closing and half the seats were put away.
AweSum DimSum
This place tasted so gross and disgusting. They need to do better. I think they just boil everything in dirty water and put it on a plate. The spring roll wasn't even good it was so oily I think they used dirty oil. We had to go to Jollibee across to street cause we could not eat our food. Just look at the pictures.
The pork was undercooked & smelled rawish, the white rice is as basic as it can be compared to other Chinese food places. The table looked like it was not cleaned in a long time & the dish came with a pastry in cupcake form with yellow egg yolk ewww! The food portions were small & the cost is not worth it. They don't care about this restaurant eat somewhere else.
