P.F. Chang's
I recently visited PF Chang's, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and had a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Our server, Summer, was exceptional—very informative and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. However, while the service and ambiance were top-notch, the food was a bit of a mixed bag. Most of the dishes were quite good, but I noticed that some of the flavors, especially in the teriyaki chicken, were overwhelmingly sweet. Having visited other PF Chang's locations, I could tell that the sweetness was a bit more excessive than usual. I would recommend steering clear of the teriyaki chicken if you’re not a fan of overly sweet dishes. Aside from that, the rest of the meal was enjoyable, and I would certainly recommend the restaurant to others—just with a note to perhaps choose dishes with more balanced flavors.
Jasmine was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The food was delicious and beautifully served, especially the lettuce wraps! She ensured we had everything we needed, making our experience fantastic. Ask for Jasmine, she’s the best!
Panda Express
They forgot my chowmein somehow and the guy at the window didn’t speak to us at all
The food is usually alright but this panda is especially stingy with portions. The one in new braunfels by creekside is so much better in regards to servings and service. They always forget every sauce for online orders as well. My wife's broccoli beef had 4 small pieces of beef. The white rice is always dry at this location. The service is unenthusiastic, I hate my life college and highschool kids and it shows. If you have a choice go to a different panda. This one's mediocre.
Hunan Garden
My entire family has been going here for 20+ years. Nights, weekends, holidays you name it. Food is always delicious. We have had my daughter's birthday dinner here every year (her choice) for as long as I can remember. Just had it two weeks ago. There is a nice area in the back we can fit our very large family. Thank you guys for always accommodating our family and the great service.
I was out here in Rosenberg for work looking for a place to eat. I called about 8:37 pm to do a to go order. Instead of saying you’re past the 8:30 cut off time, they said we close at 9 pm. I said not a problem I could be right there. I arrived about 8:45pm my to go order was ready to go. I received excellent customer service from the beginning when placing the order and when picking up my 1st order. I ordered chicken friend rice and an egg roll. The food was great, packaged properly, portions are great and very tasty! I decided tonight I wanted to try them a 2nd time. Just like before, great service, great food, packaged properly, and very tasty. I also got the egg drop soup this time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to the staff at Hunan Garden! =)
Great Wall Chinese Cuisine
Slow service, and dirty restaurant. Food was ok. Crab Rangoons were the best and super good though! Chicken was not cooked well and very small portions compared to most restaurants I've been too. Rice tasted like the frozen rice I get at Walmart. All in all, it was ok. But I doubt I'd go back unless it was the only place open.
I live 40 miles west, and this is pretty much the closest Chinese food for me. I like Great Wall. You get to see the food being prepared right behind the counter (so you know it's freshly fried), and the ladies are always friendly. I think the stand-out is the portion size for the price. It is generous (by today's standards). Many places have DEFINITELY reduced what they give you to pad the bottom line, but not so at Great Wall. $50 gets you a HEAVY bag of food. And the food is good. I have never had any problems. Well, one thing I wish they would do is to dismantle the TRULY AWFUL relic of 2020 -- a tall plastic partition with a TINY access hole at the payment counter. It's both an eyesore, and makes the entire transaction unpleasant. Let's hope they get rid of it . . . SOON! In the meantime, just "walk around the side" and talk to the lady face-to-face so you can hear each other! But that's my only gripe. They are very good at getting orders correct, and the food is always hot and appetizing (well, not quite so hot after driving home 40 miles, but that is my own making of a problem) :-) All around a 4.5 out of 5.
Wok N' Roll
This was hands down, the worst curry chicken I have ever had. The bowl to the left in the photo I included is the onion and vegetables that came with the chicken. The actual chicken is on the right. I would complain that it's way too much vegetables and hardly any chicken but, the chicken tastes like it was boiled and unseasoned. The onions tasted awful. It tasted like they boiled chicken pieces and onions and bamboo shoots and then added curry powder to the mix. Extremely bland. The fried rice was as bland as white rice and there is no egg or vegetables in the fried rice. I tried to eat it but I couldn't. Extremely disappointed. My daughter got sweet and sour chicken and the chicken was soggy and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like vinegar.
I had called and was told 15-20 minutes for two sushi rolls. I waited patiently and the lady kept telling me 5 minutes almost every 2 minutes and finally actually started making the food 15 minutes after while just standing there. When I got the sushi rolls it was the tiniest rolls ever and had no flavor. Luckily the spice and soy sauce helped but it barely made up for the taste. No flavor whatsoever so ever and not worth it. I payed $18 for it. Not worth it at all. I don’t recommend.
Dragon Express
Hella cool asian bros in the kitchen. Place smells like the 90s. POS system to match. Got the ancient fish paintings on the walls. AND complimentary egg roles. The cherry on top is fortune cookies that give you an ACTUAL FORTUNE, none of those ambiguous non-prophecy statements. This place is incredibly authentic if what you're looking for is classic Americanized Chinese takeout. The best way to describe this food by closing your eyes and pretending it's 2010. The prices have barely changed, the food is delicious and everything is right in the world. I will be back.
Generous portions for the price. The food was really good, too! My husband and I were impressed and will definitely order again. Love that they deliver in our area.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
I recently discovered Pei Wei since it's close to my job, and I absolutely love it. The staff are always kind and helpful. The tofu is amazing if you're considering vegetarian options, and today the chicken was great as well.
First time dropping in. I was initially going to get the Korean Bbq, but I saw spicy honey chicken.. so I got that instead. Cashiers in most food places assume they ppl have been there before but I encourage all employees unless you recognize someone , treat everyone like it’s their first time. After I told her it was my first time she helped out and was very nice. The food- The chicken itself was VERY SPICY and would NOT recommend to children. I like a bit of spice to my food but this was borderline inedible. I too kit to go but didn’t finish it. I couldn’t enjoy it. The rice was ok and the Thai donuts were a bit overcooked but edible. I will go back to try something different because I feel like the place has potential. Idk if it was just that batch or if it’s always that spicy but I’m not getting that again!
Sunny Wok
Their food is always soo good but I’m not sure how the ball was dropped this time. As I started to eat my food I notice this piece of plastic in my rice and found that it’s a piece of one of those stainless steel scrubbers!! This is so ridiculous for it to be mixed in with my rice! Again this is the first time for it to happen, but still.
We ordered delivery, door dash. Food arrived sooner than expected, piping hot. Large portions and very good. Hot and sour soup was probably the best I’ve had. Egg rolls, Moo Goo Gai pan and Shrimp Lo mein was all very good. Shrimp was on the small side but overall my husband and I were very satisfied.
Rice Pot
630p Fri Dine In The food is pretty good Chinese and plentiful. All 4 of us had to stop ourselves eating and had leftovers. I had Hunan chicken. The veggies were fresh and cooked al dentè, the chicken was cooked well and the hunan sauce was very flavorful and not cloying. I would happily get take out. Our group ordered Hunan chicken, Happy Family and shrimp Lo Mein and we were all happy diners. The inside looks a bit like a dive, the drink fountains were out of order and the front counter was being run by 2 completely disinterested young men. When you walk in, it feels like an old fast food joint that seen better times. We ordered dine in and it was brought to us in take out containers and tied closed in a bag, we had to unpack our food at the table. I gave Rice Pot 4 stars because the food really is delicious but I think there needs to be a change in staff or at least a bit more training.
The price is not worth the portion. I ordered a $10 lunch special of pork fried rice, which looked like tiny chicken pieces. The meal was tasty, but it was mostly rice, peas, and carrots. Where's the meat? This was my first and last time dining here because of the portion size. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
ASIAWAY
Great idea. Express hibachi. You may have had better but not at these prices. Food was good and the lunch special is all 7 days. The vegetables were really good. They skinned the zucchini which makes it so much better. There was a tang to the yum yum sauce. Different and good. We tried some rolls and they were good too. We did the select 3 of the 6 piece rolls for 16. We didn't expect a sit down experience. Waiter was great. He really was on it. Just run in and have a quick bite was cool. Similar experience without a chef in front of you.
The bomb one of my favorite restaurants in this surrounding area I go at least 3 to 4 times a week superb customer service. I usually have the same waiter. He reminds me of Bruce Lee. Great guy and knows that menu.
Wall Chinese Cafe
As of October 2024 $11.91 after tax for small fried rice. You won’t get full here. However, the rice is good but NOT worth $12 for small plate. Be careful when going here. Majority of the food is small portions
I've never gone to a Chinese takeout restaurant where I saw the bottom of the to go box before. Call me a fat ass if you want but for them to up charge me for a large and still not pack in the food. Yeah never again
Joy Luck
Fast service, took about 10 min to have a large order ready, 5 meals for 50 wasnt bad , food tastes pretty good too!
My family and I have been coming to this location since I was a baby I am now 25. This is not only a restaurant but a home a childhood core memory! my first time eating fried rice ever was from here and to this day I still order the exact same plate
