Chen's Wok Chinese restaurant
Posting again on another account. It’s just that good. I got the Combo Singapore Mei Fun. If you like rice noodles and some flavor in you life, you need this here. I hope to the good Lord their business takes off. Nothing like it. I ate Cantonese in NOLA for most of my youth and I never had anything close… this is where it’s at in all my years in Texas. There flavor is here, folks.
Best fried rice I’ve had in Texas so far… Uncle Roger would be proud. I WILL be coming back just for that. Mongolian Beef was my meal… of course they had their lunch when I was dinning in and I got jealous… they seriously know what they’re doing back there in that kitchen. Update: Don’t GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR GOOD FRIED RICE OR LO MEIN!!!
A A China Super Buffet
Huge buffet selection of items from staples like orange chicken and pepper steak to frog legs, sushi, and even menudo-a little something for everyone. A bit pricey at $19 a plate (not including drinks) but not awful when considering the selection and quality.
Dirty bathrooms, no soap & the toilets do not flush. The food is mostly chicken or something else. The bacon wrapped shrimp was BAD, we told the waiter but he didn't care. Most of the food was just kind of warm. Kids were playing in the buffet & no one said anything. We both were sick after leaving. We use to eat here once a wk but this was the 2nd time we both got sick. We will NEVER eat here again
Taste Of Asia
The Pad Thai here is authentic and delicious! The perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. The noodles were cooked perfectly and there was a generous amount of chicken and shrimp. The presentation was beautiful too. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend for anyone craving Thai food!
I'm still trying to process the shocking experience I had at Taste of Asia in Burleson. I ordered a noodle dish, but what I got was a plate of noodles contaminated with styrofoam shavings. Yes, you read that right - styrofoam shavings! It was blatantly obvious, and I'm shocked and dumbfounded that the kitchen staff could have overlooked such a glaring mistake. To make matters worse, the chicken in my dish tasted freezer burned, which suggests a lack of attention to food quality and handling. I'm extremely disappointed and appalled by the lack of care and attention to detail in the kitchen. As a customer, I expect a certain level of quality and safety in the food I'm served, and Taste of Asia fell woefully short of those expectations. I'm not sure how a restaurant can be so careless and reckless with their food preparation, but it's clear that Taste of Asia needs to take a hard look at their kitchen procedures and quality control measures. Until then, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The risk of food contamination and poor quality is just too great. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Taste of Asia anytime soon.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
Never disappoints..... 3rd time at this location. Difrent meals. Same great experience. Love the freshness and the menu. Fusion is the way to go.*** Udate *** i have been there multiple times lately. Seems to be getting better every time. Seating has been a problem. Words out.....good food good service
Came around lunchtime, place was very clean and service was good. Food came out pretty quickly. Ordered the orange and sesame chicken. Honestly, at the higher price point I was expecting more. The bowl is mostly rice and meat was just okay. For what I’m getting, Panda Express is cheaper and better.
Rice House Express Burleson
Was starving saw this place took the risk and the gamble paid off food was amazing hands down got the chris rice would definitely recommend it got the medium spicy and it tingles the lips added the extra hot sauce they added and it kicks made me have tears of joy. (Recommend medium and lower for anyone that doesnt like spicy food bc it is hot). Great meal for some one passing by. Also staff was amazing didnt get his name but thank you food was great.
Love their food! The Spam Fried Rice is so good!!! I like that they have more veggies than just peas & carrots. Everything I have ordered has been good. This is a great takeout place.
Wow House
The sesame chicken was horrible! Very tough and fatty. Tasted days old if you know what I mean. Threw it all away. The chicken lo mein was pretty much tasteless. Egg rolls was the only edible thing. Done with this place in Benbrook time to look for a new place.
We got sesame chicken, fried banana, and dumplings. Mine was supposed to come with fried rice but I got brown rice (NOT FRIED). I’d give the food a 0. Guy who came and gave us our food was great. The fried banana was described as “cyst like” by my husband. I also got an egg role, if it was hot would’ve been great but cold and tasted like flour.
Taste of Asia
As many times we've been here , ain't been let down once !!! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE food and peoples 😍🥰🤤 D4 is the best skrimp salad I've ever had 🤤🤤🤤 Thai tea is great 👍🏽😃 I still have more plates to try 😉😁
Good food, great environment and the service was fantastic.
Angel’s China House
Had the combination fried rice it was good. Over places sometimes tastes fishy or has extra oil, but this was good. Also tried the sasame chicken also season just right, not to sweet not to spicy. Reasonably priced as well.
Service was great!! Food was delicious!! Definitely bringing the family back.
Correa Chinese Cuisine
My friend and I went on a Friday after work and it was a wonderful treat. The food was delicious, the egg rolls were probably the best I’ve ever had. Everyone was extremely attentive, and very nice. I definitely will go back. Such a wonderful atmosphere, great food, great portions, and wonderful people! I thought I took more pics but I clearly just got right into the food when it came.
Update: We have now (I think) reached "regulars" status in less than a month. I cannot express to you how darn good this place is. Everytime I think it won't be as good as last time, I'm right... it's ALWAYS better. I'm not sure what they did differently with the fried rice that comes with the meal, but oh my golly was it next level tonight. What ever you did, keep doing that! We have to date tried, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Lomain, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoons, Jasmine Rice, General Tso's Chicken, General Tso's Shrimp, Ginger Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan & Egg Foo Young. We just left there & were already planning out next visit. Warmly greeted & seated right away. I was impressed with the dining area. Very clean, beautifully decorated & romantic. This was our 1st visit. After 1 1/2 years in the Taylor area, we didn't even know this place existed, which is sad. We were missing out. This was my husband's 1st Chinese experience that wasn't a buffet. His idea was he wouldn't get enough food non buffet. Anyone that's ever been to an authentic Chinese restaurant knows this is a misconception. Huge menu selection. We ordered the bbq pork fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoons,General Tso's Chicken & Chicken MooGoo Gai Pan, and both came with Jasmine rice. Yes, that was a ton of food, but we wanted leftovers. Boy, did we have leftovers. Did we know it would 3 days of leftovers, nope. Everything arrived in an appitizer to main meal order, as it should. The portions are huge. All food was very heat hot. Flavor rivals any Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. This is not mass-produced "buffet" food. This is made to order plated food. The staff is mostly family to the owners. We know this because several of them came to our table to visit & they genuinely wanted to know how our experience at Correa has been. If you are looking for authentic flavor, a traditional large menu to select from, hot food, & some of the nicest people in Taylor... this is your place. We will now be regulars & look forward to giving them our business. Don't drive past or judge the book by the cover. Pull into the parking lot & go in. This place is a diamond waiting to be found. You can place orders to go over the phone also. I would ignore any less than 4 star reviews. I can't imagine the owners or staff would give you subpar service or food. *Only issue: our table could have used a match book under the leg. It was pretty wonky. I'd bet by the time they read this & we go back, it's fixed. ;)
Chinese Dragon
First and foremost food tasted great. Second of all the waitresses we had did an excellent job of keeping our drinks topped off. Most important of all to us, my wife is allergic to carrots and they made sure to keep her order clean and safe. We will definitely be back, it was a pleasure.
We came in late but received a warm welcome! Our food came out quickly and the service was great! Our food was warm and very good! I’m looking forward to bringing the rest of my family! The staff was friendly and very attentive. My new favorite place!
Shanghai Express
Love the atmosphere here. I was surprised to find a dining area with booths. I ordered the shrimp lo mein and fried rice. Love the noodles but the veggies were bland. Overall: Good
Ever since we moved to GT, this has been our go-to Chinese takeout place. It’s always been great! A few days ago was the first time we ever ate at the restaurant. It was just the wife and myself. We decided to get the Pu-Pu Treasure Platter, which was a great presentation and everything was very tasty! The only negative was the ribs were a little dry. We also recommend trying one of their “Sizzling” dishes if you eat there. You know when you’re eating somewhere for TexMex and those sizzling fajitas pass your table? It’s like that. Sooo good. The Sesame Chicken is always good, but even better eating it there since it’s a little crispier. The crab puffs and egg drop soup are always great! Service was very attentive and the decor was pretty much what we hoped out of a Chinese restaurant. Although, some repairs are needed. We like the aquarium as well. They’re worth a visit!
Lins Cafe
Best hole in the wall! This is one of the only places to eat near my dad’s house, and might I just say absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh tasting, hot, and seasoned to perfection. Did I mention the portions are generous? Well they are! I always order a pick up order and it’s ready fast. When I arrive I’m met with friendly faces along with warm smiles. I recommend this place to anyone looking for yummy Chinese food! 10/10 :) ✨(p.s. don’t mind one of the photos! It was too late to get a photo of the dish as my boyfriend had already eaten most of it!)
Best Asian take-out around. Every time we order, which is almost 1x week, the whole family is happy. My kids beg for this on the weekends. Highly recommend the Thai Basil Chicken and all of the appetizers.
