Ordered take-out from here for a late night Chinese food craving. Overall order came out pretty good. We ordered the sesame chicken, pork buns, and combination fried rice. The sesame chicken was a little sweet for my taste but flavor is still pretty good. The chicken was cooked well, not hard or soggy if you know what I mean. The pork buns were okay, only complaint is there was an overwhelming amount of ginger, I could barely taste the pork and the rest of the seasoning. But the bun itself was cooked nicely, doesn't taste stale or soggy, had the right amount of bounce to it. The fried rice was excellent! The rice was perfect, not hard or chewy, just right. We picked up our order so there wasn't any service but based off of reviews, there weren't complaints about service, and walking in for pick up, it looked like cottage vibes but like I said, we ordered take out so we didn't have the sit-in experience. I see this is a franchise and if we are in town again, we would definitely try this spot again. Check this place out! Till then, let's eat!!!!

I recommend the shrimp and caviar dumplings and the Mongolian beef. The red oil dumplings were very salty and lacking spice. The scallion pancakes and soup dumplings were okay but I wouldn't get them again.

👍 The food "looked" appealing, which is what brought me here over the other options at POST. 👎 Unfortunately, ordering took a long time—even though I was the only person in line. 👎 They took my phone number to notify me when my order was ready, but after sitting near the kitchen for over 30 minutes, I still hadn’t received a text. ⚠️ **FOOD SAFETY HAZARD** While waiting, I noticed raw fish left out on the counter without refrigeration. The fish was not frozen and remained on the counter from the time I arrived until I left (pictured). 👎 Eventually, I went to check on my order, only to find there was no clear pickup area for customers. ⚠️ **FOOD SAFETY HAZARD** I spotted what looked like my order sitting on a different counter without a heat lamp (pictured). 👎 When I finally asked about it, the cashier turned and attempted to hand me the same food that had been sitting out. I raised my voice, requested a refund, and explained that I’d waited half an hour and couldn’t be sure how long the food had been left out. Despite a long line of customers when I asked for the refund, the area was empty by the time it was issued. 👎 I was informed my refund would take 48 hours to process. ⚠️ **FOOD SAFETY HAZARD** More than an hour later, that same raw fish was still sitting out (pictured, with receipt and time-stamp).

1st came to this Post Hall. I was thinking to eat the south american food there, but East aide King took my wallet first. Good portion for chicken katsu bowl! Price is abit on high end (could be lower abit) but well worth for the portion. It was a quick serving. I will be back for sure.

The taste here is actually pretty good; many people order takeout or delivery. The price here is pretty decent for the amount of food you get. The only complaint is that we waited quite a while (more than 20 mins) before receiving our dishes while dining in the store. All the dishes are above expectations and go well with rice. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants Chinese food.

Ordering delivery from here was not a good experience awhile back, so we decided to dine-in instead. We go weekly now and are always the only people eating inside there. Happy to report though that the prices/portions/quality each time were great. We're officially regulars!

Clean, comfortable, simple place located at the far north end of the very boring Dynasty Mall. I had the $8.00 combo for lunch, which is rice plus your choice of two veggies and two meats. Friendly fast service. The food is okay, but if you're coming to China Town for a culinary experience, this is not the place. Atmosphere is classic shopping mall. There are better options in much more interesting malls just a few hundred feet further down Bellaire Blvd.

This restaurant is one of the oldest established in Houston's Chinatown. Although many customers claim the flavor has changed throughout the years due to ownership changes, $8 for a four-item self-pick bento box is not bad. The Danzai noodles are also $8. The food and environment are fresh, and there are many choices if you come in early enough. The only problem is that the flavor is a little bland, in my opinion. I recommend this restaurant for people who want some Taiwanese style lunch.

Omg do i love Vietnamese food and for the best and at a very decent price i got their shrimp spring rolls with that peanut sauce is to die for!! So damn good and I got sum Bún Thìt Nuóng (Boon tic Noon) or on their menu grilled pork with vermicelli rice noodle bowl and OMG 😱 the veggies so fresh pork was so delicious and yea mix it all up in the bowl and even though i was full i kept stuffing my face i recommend this place if your wanting to expand and experience real Houston Delicious Vietnamese food! If i could i would give 10 stars for the service and 10 stars for the flavor and delicious food!!

This used to be the old Kim Son. The food flavor is good however, the noodles always seem to come out very clumpy. I’ve tried their phó And it was the same story. I’m not sure why this is happening, but they need to work on it because it’s not pleasant to eat or to look at. Hot and sour soup is good… Could use a little more sour. Barbecue porkfried rice is excellent. Spring rolls are excellent.

Only Chinese customers here, that to us speaks as very good! We were looking for Chinese too early for Dim Sum. Freshly made buns & douhua ( Tofu flower salty) . Highly recommend the broth from the northern region.

Whenever I visit Houston Bellaire Blvd, I normally go to San Dong for pan-fried steam buns, but unfortunately, they ran out of them today, so I decided to try Lu Xiang Village instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of buns they had and how affordable they were. They offered three varieties of fried buns, and I got two of each at just $2.60 per bun. The buns were outstanding. Each bite had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy textures, with a generous amount of savory filling that really hit the spot. My favorite was the pork and cabbage, followed closely by the pork and onion. Both were packed with flavor, and the fillings were juicy and well-seasoned. The buns themselves were very filling—two were more than enough to satisfy my craving, making them a great value for the price. I also picked up 10 of their steamed pork buns for $6.50, which were equally satisfying. The steamed buns had a soft, pillowy texture and were stuffed with a hearty pork filling. While I loved everything I ordered, I do wish they had chili oil available for dipping, which would have elevated the flavors even more. Overall, Lu Xiang Village exceeded my expectations and is now on my list of go-to spots on Bellaire Blvd. If you’re craving delicious, well-made buns at a great price, I highly recommend giving them a try.

Tainan Bistro is hands down the best place for Taiwanese-style food in Houston! I’ve been coming here once a week, and it never disappoints. Their 3 Cup Chicken is absolutely phenomenal... perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. The dishes are always fresh, authentic, and satisfying. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is cozy. If you’re craving authentic Taiwanese cuisine, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The food made me miss home. The chicken was so juicy, and the eggs were excellent. It was true Taiwanese-style food, and my girlfriend and I had a very satisfying lunch.

Delicious! I used to frequent this place years ago before I started doing reviews. They’ve still got it! The atmosphere is a little dark, but that doesn’t personally bother me. It’s a good mood setting when you want quiet time. Classical music plays overhead and it’s a nice escape from hustle and bustle of every day. The service is fantastic. My tea was never below 1/2 full. I started with the eggdrop soup which was very good. For my entree, I had the sesame chicken with fried rice. The meal comes with an eggroll. Everything was wonderful. That’s probably the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had! The eggroll is perfectly fried and crispy. I forgot why this place was a favorite of mine so many years ago. Glad I visited today. The dining area is small, with about 12-13 tables. It gets busy during the lunch rush. I went for a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed this almost forgotten gem. I miss the fun placemats they used to have on the tables. “Year of the” rabbit, dog, sheep, etc. They were fun to read, but they no longer have those. The restaurant is very Chinese decorated. It’s a nice little spot. $10.80 before tip. Great value! Don’t skip this place!

This is a best kept secret. The lunch specials are very well priced. You get your entree, a spring roll, and a small soup. The dinner portions are generous. I never spend more than 15 dollars on a visit and leave full. The manager is usually grumpy, but I go for food.

The outside of the restaurant and the entire strip mall look like they’re past their prime by about 20 years. Stepping in, it looks like that on the inside too. The all redeeming quality is the kitchen which produces food that’s out of this world. Omg it’s so good! This place is like a video game character where the player put all skill points into the kitchen and none into appearance or ambiance. Granted, it’s what counts at the end of the day, but still the atmosphere is that of a melancholic storage room.

Best banh bot chien in Houston. One stand out thing about this restaurant is price hasn’t changed much. I noticed in the fried food & noodle dishes there’s not a heavy amount a salt, and or msg. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 just watch your surroundings in this area.

My dad and I went in at 7 and it was quite empty when we were sat but as the night when on it got busy and they was only 1 waiter serving costumers. She was so sweet and very lively! This was my fist time going and I was a wonderful experience I will definitely be returning!!

This is the only dumpling restaurant that my whole family can agree on. Other than the dumplings, my favorite dish is the F1, The pan fried crispy noodle with chicken in white sauce. I usually don't share this one! Almost perfect score, but parking can be difficult at times as parking lot gets crowded.

Best Chinese food I’ve had! I recommended it. The parking sucks and you need cash but it’s worth it

You can find almost anything you'll need here. Along with some of the best tacos you're ever going to have in your life.

Strongly recommend the GuangDong style roasted duck. Presentation is good. The flavor is unbeatable. The portion is big. The roasted pork is also very good. I love the milk teas.

The restaurant is a hidden gem serving authentic Hong Kong style food. Everything we tried was just simply fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
