Lucky 99
Lucky 99 has been around for a long time for good reason. You can get amazing food in large portions at a good price. I like the classic orange chicken, but for something different the Singapore noodles are excellent. I was surprised to see so many bad reviews as my family have had nothing but good experiences. They’re open on major holidays (yes even Christmas/New Years Day) and we order from them always around then. Support long standing small businesses.
This isn’t your typical Chinese takeout. They do not have whole chicken wings, spare ribs etc. They only give you one sauce packet. Even after requesting more sauce I received 1. For $42 for two shrimp fried rice with wings, they could’ve been a little more gracious. I will not be returning.
Rice Pot Express
This was our impulse dinner while we waited on our kids class to completed. Order Veg Fried rice with egg (extra spicy) and was informed that order will be ready in 15 mins, we got there in less than 10 mins as we were already out. Food was ready by the time we got there. Fried rice tasted good with lots of veggies, although for extra spicy it could use bit more of spice. Would recommend this place for quick grab and go and if you are not too picky
I read through many reviews, and we decided to order some food online and pick it up to take home. They were friendly & the food was very good. I would tell folks to try it out.
Moon Wok Restaurant
(2nd Review) I tried to warn one of my family members not to eat at this location she was at my hoy warm up her egg drop soup and discovered one piece of the egg had black mold on it she threw the whole soup away you'll be on alert if you eat here things hay changed. (1st Review) This place has went down hill and the food is horrible be careful eating here because you might get food poisoning I found hair fried inside of my sweet and sour chicken in my food the sesame chicken was black underneath the batter I threw it in the trash 🤮 if you eat here please check your food thoroughly before eating and whoever's cutting up the chicken they're doing a terrible job they are not giving you the full pieces of chicken.
This is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Ordered the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and “fried rice.” The orange chicken was soupy and most likely the reason I got sick. The fried rice tastes like 3 day old rice with soy sauce. The chicken egg rolls taste like freezer. I called the next day to speak to the manager about the food making me sick was completely dismissed.
Panda Express
Natahlie didn't want to give me more than 5 RED HOT sauce packets for my $18 order. Told her to give me more and she wouldn't until I told her I would pay extra then she said "okay". Just wanted to throw it out there and hopefully someone can tell her it's not her money and to learn to accept that the customer is always right! As you can see in the photo I still need RED HOT sauce and because of Natahlie I don't have anymore. Shame
The orange chicken too much sauce. Too sweet! And the chow mein too hard. The bowl was not fresh and hot! Would have returned if hadn't already left.
Wong's Express
My husband and I are still on our Midlo food adventure! We decided to grab dinner at Wong's Express. The restaurant was clean, and the service was prompt. Wong's has an extensive menu, so try to review it online. We dined in, but they were busy with online orders. The food came out quickly, and their portions were decent. My husband ordered fried scalloped for his appetizer and lobster fried rice and the scalloped dish for his entrees. I ordered the steamed dumplings and egg rolls for an appetizer and curry glass noodles as an entree. The only dish I didn't care for was the steamed dumplings. The dumpling was too thick for me, and I didn't like the flavor of the meat. We the curry noodles were delicious and flavorful, as well as the rice and scallop dish. We will be back!
Im so upset because we went there for the first time I got a meal for myself and chicken nuggets for my 1 yr old and ended up paying $30 for orange chicken that tasted horrible. I hate to be mean but it was alot of chicken big literally tasted like just breading barely any chicken inside
Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant
Hot and sour soup was delish, lots of flavor. Service was fast. Only drinks they have was can sodas, so I didn’t order any drinks. The place is very small and not the newest in GP. I will come back for more food.
Order the chicken on a stick! So juicy and flavorful. My favorite thing on the menu. Lo mein is hit or miss.
Panda Express
Just found a metal piece in my orange chicken, tried calling the fast food place and no one answers the phone. Horrific to think there's metal in our food.
Why? Just why??? Why Is there more veggies then noodles! I bought 2 large side of chow mein and they are both full of veggies not to mention they cut the noodles into small pieces AND its super oily!!!!!
Che Hong Kong
Take out only. Quick, no-frills, and affordable—perfect for busy days and a better value than Chipotle. The crackling/roasted pork was only $11/lb with crispy skin, good for making a quick pork and rice bowl and sauce it up since the marinate hasn’t gone through the meat. The Vietnamese fare was solid too. The gentleman at the counter has a unique communication style—direct at first but polite as we went along. He seemed a bit friendlier with the ladies 😀. Very fair what you get for the price.
FOOD GOOD PPL NICE JUST NEED TO CLEAN THE VENT
Got Rice
Ordered DoorDash from here. Will never do that again. Dishes were dry, bland and overwhelming celery taste. I will gladly take this down if they will admit that they failed, refund, and create new recipes and promise never to completely drop the ball again.
Food was good. Service was great as well. A Lil low key spot. But the crab sticks, yuck! Lol. Don't do it. I was just trying something new. Everything else was great.
FORTUNE COOKIE EXPRESS CHINESE RESTAURANT
I must say that the Fortune Cookie Exspress was quite the hidden gem! Nestled in a sketchy area, I was initially hesitant, but the positive reviews convinced me to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious! I tried their General Tso’s chicken and the fried rice, both of which were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great value for the price. My dining companion ordered the sweet and sour chicken, and they raved about it as well. What really stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They made us feel welcome and valued, which definitely enhanced our experience. While the location might not be the most glamorous, the quality of the food and service more than makes up for it. If you’re in the area and craving some tasty Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving The Fortune Cookie Express a try. Just be prepared for a bit of an unconventional setting!
Merchant miss order notes. I ordered Chicken Lo Mein. I received Beef,Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein, and vegetable no egg roll
ABC Seafood
My family went on a Sunday so it was very busy and very packed. On the weekends, they have the dim sum carts that come around table by table and you can order food that way. During the week days you order a la carts for your table. Food was pretty good! My family was very impressed as everything was delicious and flavorful. 9/10 would definitely recommend and come again. They just remodeled the entire restaurant within the last year and it’s so Modern, nice, and clean on the inside now! Also I went with 5 people and my bill with gratitude was $175. Super affordable!
Came here on Friday dinner at 7pm. Waitresses are very friendly. The interior is dated. Could use some remodel but it’s not about the looks, it’s about the food. Ordered from the menu and not Dim Sum. Dim Sum menu looks great with variety selection. Ordered the salty fish tofu pot, shrimp and scallops and beef ribs. They do have free flow of rice. A plus for me. Food Taste great. They do have Dim Sum cart. Update: back here again after 8 months. They remodeled and looks great. Bright and modern looking. Great place for big crowd.
Wok Xpress
Amazing customer service! They are very friendly. I may not understand them too much but they are very nice. They always make our food fresh. I recommend going to this place!
I am a little sad because for me this was one of the best Fast Asian Cuisine in town for years. Even the last visit about 6 to 8 weeks ago was great. But tonight we ordered for my birthday and we're very disappointed. My Mongolian Beef was mostly greasy onions and sauce and maybe 10 small pieces of beef. It tasted old and just yuck. The crab raagoons were soggy also. Even the sesame chicken did not taste as good or look as appealing. I am hopeful this was just a off night, because I love this place generally :(
