Lovely place, very attentive servers, pleasant music. We got the early bird special for between 3 and 5 pm, and got rice, soup of the day, a crab Rangoon, an egg roll, and a meal all for 10.99.

The Great Wall used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the past,but unfortunately that crown has slipped. I heard rumors of their fall from grace, but I had to find out for myself. I was hoping the rumors weren’t true and I went back twice just to be sure….you guys, I couldn’t even finish the food. 😣 I could’ve overlooked the terrible customer service that I was given when I walked into the establishment. I could’ve even forgiven the unnecessary wait that I had to endure while I stood there waiting for someone…anyone, to at least acknowledge that they had a new customer waiting to be seated, only to tell me that I could just sit wherever. I ordered the lemon chicken for the lunch special with steamed rice, one egg roll and one Crab Rangoon with a sweet tea and a wonton soup. Honestly, the tea was the only thing worth tasting, followed by the wonton soup, which still had a peculiar taste that I couldn’t quite place. Still finished it tho. But the chicken? Dry and difficult to chew. The egg roll was missing that one ingredient that always made me want to order more. The Crab Rangoon? I mean, was it even cooked all the way? The steamed rice tasted way more like stale rice that not even the best soy sauce could save. I finally gave up trying to finish the food and paid the rude guy at the front desk the worst $14 I ever spent. I can’t say that I won’t go back ever again. I have glimmers of hope that maybe one day Great Wall will once again be owned by somebody who takes pride in their food, their culture and in providing not only excellent Chinese cuisine, but also similar customer service.

For my 12 and 9 year old then me. It was $46. The food wasn't the best. Not much to choose from. There was food all over the floor. The service wasn't great either. The server came by once the whole time we were here. Some of the food looked like it had been sitting there for awhile. The tea was good. I don't recommend this place.

Within the budget its a good option. For muslim you can take Prawn, crawfish, salmon fish, vegetables, potato wadges, their desert items are good also. Unlomited soft drinks. Good choice

First time coming here. I had mixed feelings because of the negative reviews but my mom came and told me it wasn't bad. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy which is great because I hate crowded places. You have to give them a minute but they rush out hot food when they know you're coming. The egg rolls were wonderfully crispy and full of cabbage. The batter on the sweet and sour chicken was amazing, the fried rice is great if you catch a fresh batch, and the fried biscuits are the best I'vehad from any buffet. There's a wide variety including pizza for the kids. The ambiance is wonderful with soft traditional music in the background and a TV playing whatever current sports game. You can actually have a pleasant conversation and a warm meal.

Terrible. Good was over cooked. The oil they fried everything in was giving the food a burnt taste. Stay away! I should have known with no one hardly there at lunch time that something was wrong. My loss of 15.95. Ugh

We Drove 150 Miles To Buy Chinese Food From This Restaurant!! We Use To Live In Rosenberg Texas But Moved To Rockport Texas 5 Years Ago. The Food Is Amazing Lots Of Flavor. It Still Tastes The Same!!

HORRIBLE service!! We have never eaten at Happy Star and decided to try them out. I placed an order for delivery and was told that the order would take 30-35 minutes to be delivered. (If you are going to place an order for delivery, you have to repeat yourself multiple times by the way, because they must not know English very well! I had to repeat myself multiple times) After waiting 45 minutes, my order was still not delivered so I called and asked if there was a problem with the order. She stated that she would have to call the driver, which had left 30 minutes prior, to find out what the problem was. Still not having a meal or having a phone call from the restaurant I called back, now having waited a total of 1 hour, she said that he got lost and we would receive the food asap. Now after an hour and 15 minutes and VERY HUNGRY! I called back again and the lady said that he came to 2204 address and nobody was home, (by the way the correct address was 2304- which I repeated to her multiple times and she repeated back to me) and before I can tell her she had the wrong address she hung up on me.. I was completely confused, so I called back and she was very rude, said we cant deliver to you and once again hung up on me! At this point, I felt after waiting an hr and 15 minutes, they should have at least had the courtesy to call us back and let us know we were not going to be getting our order, instead we wasting time waiting for an order that was never even coming... their professionalism was very poor and I will never again attempt to try this restaurant!!

This location was out of orange chicken and would not make more 20 mins to close with a long line in the drive through, so instead I ordered teriyaki chicken. Got home and realized she did not put teriyaki sauce in the bag so I was left with two servings of dry, poor quality chicken. I ate left over pizza instead because it was so bad. Try another restaurant like Alfonso pizza.

I noticed that rice was dried. I asked the girl that rice looks dried and she acknowledged it. She said that we can’t make new batch until we finish this first.

This place is tucked away from traffic. Nevertheless, I wanted to try something new (or different). There's a variety of food selection from the menu, but it's a bit pricey for my budget. I didn't like their chicken with mushrooms. I barely saw mushrooms or chicken. I really didn't know what was in it. Overall, I'd say "just okay".

It taste really bad specially beef. I can smell that meat was cooked as a frozen. And eggroll don't spend money on it. Only rice was great. How things it looks like beef broccoli l. More than a half was a broccoli and beef was so thin smell stinks it went to trash straight.

i came in this morning around 10:50 about to be 11. this lady that took my order was so rude because i was confused on why she only put 2 entries on my plate with no side. i was trying to understand her but she sounded so rude. i asked for orange chicken and chain me in and she didn’t ask if that all i wanted in my plate. i wanted to add something else but she added double orange chicken when i didn’t ask her to do that. i feel like they should be more communication with the workers. they are supposed to ask if that’s all we taking? asking questions to make sure they don’t mess up the order. and if they do mess up the order to not get all offended for doing it wrong. after that i was about to pay she asked me if wanted a drink and i said yes and pointed at the one i wanted and she said “get it!!” in such a rude way. i was being respectful i didn’t snap on her or anything. i guess she was having a bad day.

Omg they charged $ 8.00 for lunch bowl but only 2peices are chicken only rice they put it in manager should teach them how much to put chicken I would not recommend anyone for this location 😞😞😞

We wanted to try a different Thai restaurant so we ended up here. Customer service was great!! The food was just not up to my standards. There are different Thai places in the area that taste much better for the same price. In one of the plates we ordered there were way more vegetables than actual meat. The Hot and Sour soup has large chunks of Mushroom which I didn’t like. I don’t think I would come back here having other choices.

Good, satisfying Chinese food when you need it quick! Decent hours to get Chinese food when you crave Chinese food. I got the shrimp lo mein for take out and had it made spicy and it's nice and tasty, a good classic with mild heat, made fresh in a quick amount of time and I'm grateful. I placed a mobile order today and waited in the parking lot for it to be ready. Once I received a text saying it was ready for pick up, I went through the drive thru to get it because I had a throbbing migraine. Nobody was in line and when I pulled up to the window, I was asked to come inside and wait for my order because it was still cooking. She shut the window quickly and I just sat there. I was being mindful and there were no other cars behind me. She came back to the window and said you need to come inside and wait. I told her if somebody pulls up behind me, I will make sure to come inside. She gave the rebuttal that I need to some inside or she will get in trouble for her drive thru time. I said I can understand that but my order was supposed to be complete for 10 minutes now but I’m still waiting and nobody is behind me. She said they didn’t mark anything complete, it must of been the main office cause she only works in store. I informed her I know how the system works and they did it, it shouldn’t be a problem. She rolled her eyes directly at me and slammed the window shut. They had another worker hand me my food and wouldnt give me my receipt or the other workers name. Such a distasteful experience

Usually don’t have any issues here, but when I ordered a broccoli beef bowl today, they repeated it back correctly, however, when I pulled up I received orange chicken. I went back around and was very polite and explained I received the wrong food. They remade it, but there’s literally 1 piece of beef in this broccoli beef. I guess they wanted to be petty.

I think the older Hispanic lady working here has a problem with black men because every time I come here for DoorDash she actively ignores me and assists everyone else. Even though my order is VISIBLY right behind her. It takes less than a second to hand it to me and I’m always stuck weighting 10+ minutes.

Kudos to the manager on duty! Everything was fresh as I requested.Great customer service.This was my first time ever eating Panda Express! I wish I got her name but give her a raise.I love that they waited until I arrived to make the food fresh.

I ordered through Uber eats. We got general tso chicken, shaken tofu, 2 egg rolls, and 2 orders of dumplings (buy 1 get 1 free special) including delivery and tip I spent $38. The general tso was really good. Sweet but not very spicy. Good amount of chicken and veggies. The tofu was a little bland. Well seasoned, but I would've enjoyed a more crispy tofu in a sauce. It was firm and didn't fall apart. Both entrees were size small and was plenty for my husband and I. Lots of left overs Over all pretty satisfied. For the price you really can't complain too much. Food was hot, done of it tasted like it had been sitting for a few hours. But when ordering delivery and for that price, it's a good place and good food.

My experience was smooth and fast at pick up. I ordered two lunch specials Sweet and Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken and came with a soup and two small egg rolls, Also a side order of Lo Mein, and Crab Rangoon at the cost of $39.73. I have no complaints with the food we ate and the flavor was definitely there. Orange chicken was sweet and tangy with no overpowered orange flavor. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was very crispy and delicious with and without the sauce. The Crab Rangoon are my favorite with a nice crunch, The center was smooth and creamy. Finally Lo mein was good as well. No complaints with my order this time round.

Do not eat here !! The owner is a crook. They have old menus with old prices and they don’t tell you the prices have changed unless you ask. I paid for my food and noticed the total wasn't correct. I told the owner the amount was off by $10 and that’s when he told me I was looking at an old menu. Also the food is gross . Full of grease and no flavor . I spent $50 and threw most of the food away !! The egg rolls taste spoiled and my noodles were burned and not edible . First and last time at this place

Around the third time going there I felt very sick. Not stale meat like too much msg or some strange chemical that was very very bad also my parent felt the same. I noticed they put a lot of sauce than watered down now. What the hell happened…… don’t eat here. It was good at first. The place isn’t nasty or dirty but the quality of ingredients is horrible probably shipped from china unfortunately to say such a thing. Not food for your health. Felt like i was poisoned. After eating that Louisiana fries rice across the street you can tell they put to much msg or salt second or third time eating but this place was like poison. This was totally different from too much salt or mag this was strange
