China Moon Chinese Restaurant
Got a good bit of food for the lunch special at $10. My only disappointment was the rangoons were either cooked so much the cream cheese vaporized or it came out during cooking. Usually I get the sweet and sour pork as my side and maybe next time I'll go back to that. The rice and chicken and soup were just great though.
This was my first time ever trying this restaurant and I had a few expectations and one of them was definitely to receive my beef and broccoli dinner with an excellent result. It was really bad. And I am not joking. The moment I opened the tray I knew this was not the kind of beef and broccoli that I usually eat from ANY Chinese restaurant. There’s usually a dark saucy kind of flavor and texture to the meat and vegetable. This had nothing, no flavor, not even seasoning. It was the most blandest dish I have ever had. the sauce was extremely watery and it didn’t even stick even if you add the soy sauce. So I said hmmm let me just try the broccoli. 🫢 NOPE! Okay I’ll try the beef. 🥴 It was so tasteless that I had to actually make my own beef and broccoli sauce. Yes. After buying a meal at the restaurant I had to MAKE THE SAUCE from scratch to be able to eat what I paid for. This is a before and after picture because I really didn’t understand what Chinese restaurant doesn’t make their food this way? I see this place has great potential and people DO order and eat at this place but I’m sure the beef and broccoli is not a best seller. If you do want it to be a best seller or at least good to eat, you need to add seasoning and sauce to the meal China moon. Watery soy sauce WILL NOT WORK. You need water, oyster sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and corn starch with white vinegar and whatever else you want to give it that traditional flavor. Because what I received was not good at all and I’m happy it was so late and I had my kids because if I weren’t exhausted I would have taken that plate back to your kitchen.
Pho 4 Star
The hot pot was delicious but we had to wait for 15minutes for them to make the soup. So perhaps call & make reservations. I thought the steak hotpot was better than the seafood overall. Service was attentive. Would come again!
We popped in here last minute when Wingstop had a FORTY-FIVE minute wait on a Saturday night at 6:30. We were greeted immediately, shown our table, given our drinks and ordered our food in under five minutes. The atmosphere is clean and bright, there’s beautiful art on the walls and congenial staff. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes! We needed a quick meal because we were pressed for time and the service and speed we got on a Saturday night were just what we needed in a pinch! Support a local business and try out Pho 4 Star! 🌟
Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki - Sonterra Blvd, San Antonio
❤️❤️❤️… Incredible food and the service was nothing short of perfection from our waiter/bartender… Gabriel, he was so attentive and tender to our every need, explained the menu to the T and made some of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had!!! We have been coming here for years and they have never disappointed us in any way and our experience this visit was a 10/10!
Such a lovely establishment. The Alaskan roll is phenomenal, and Tatiana was wonderful! The sushi was SOO good I didn’t get any pictures. The drinks were also amazing! Thank you all so much for the lovely dinner experience.
Sushi Seven
We ordered takeout from here and it was really good. The spicy tuna had big chunks of tuna in it. The habanero and Luis roll were fantastic. Sushi seven roll was my least favorite but I’m not a huge Mayo fan and it has a lot of Mayo for me
Chopstick lick'n good with phenomenal service. My husband and I went here for lunch and not only was thr food fresh and delicious, The service was impeccable. Our server cleared the table of anything immediately. She also made sure our drinks were full. In addition, although we didn't ask for it, she took a roll off our bill that my husband and I didn't care for. We tried to insist on paying for it since it was something new we were trying and there was no fault with the quality or presentation, just a personal preference but she wouldn't hear of it. We put the cost of the roll plus a little extra on her tip because we were just that impressed.
Lin’s International Buffet
Everything tasted mediocre. Nothing was like "omg that's so good" that never happened. The walk up sushi and sashimi is super cool though, but sushi sitting out can be scary. My tummy did hurt immediately after, but my sushi desire was hit.
All other international buffets I have been to in San Antonio are better than this one. Very basic and generic sushi menu. No crab legs even on Sunday. I caught a distraught sushi preparer cursing patrons as she cleans the soy sauce from the counter. I do not want to eat at a restaurant where the food preparer is not happy! The table cleaner at our section was super nice though. She was the best thing in the joint.
Yummi sushi and grill
my friend and I shared two appetizers and a roll, about $20 per person if split evenly. good quality and hot when it comes out, everything is plated very nicely. they have a very extensive menu, though it's hard to tell what rolls are cooked or raw since there's no specific section for it. a really nice spot for an affordable dinner. I will say the miso soup comes in these very used plastic bowls.. didn't feel very clean and there wasn't much soup portioned for us. I'd say that was the only negative thing
Reminds me of a more classic feel Japanese restaurant. Great fish compared to most other places. All you can eat menu had good selection and worth the cost for me, I'll eat 3 rolls myself. Couldn't help myself, started eating then realized they deserve a photo and 5 stars.
Panera Bread
The food was delicious, no issues there but if i was the manager I would be super disappointed in the way the inside looks ( pictures for reference) place was a disgusting mess....outlets were exposed, which can create a serious LAWSUIT ( keep that in mind Panera bread). There was a caution wet sign just laying in the middle of the floor. Napkins and numerous dirty tables everywhere. Might as well eat on the dam floor. This generation has gotten so lazy and only care about the money made. We can all do better, especially if you want to continue taking people's money. Won't recommend and will post on all my social media platforms. Do better!!!!
Good is priced way too high for the quality THIS LOCATION SERVES! My food looked pretty crappy compared to their photos as advertised. Would not come back to this location. Compare my photo of my sandwich to what is advertised….
Sushishima Japanese Restaurant
This place is really good, food is always of high quality and atmosphere is pretty chill. Definitely recommend the razor cut yellowtail, the rice less cucumber wrapped sushi is okay, the cucumber overpowers everything else and all you taste is cucumber because of how much cucumber is there. They have an extensive menu. Service is relatively good.
It was my first time visiting and I had an amazing experience. Rin was our server and she was very kind and attentive about my gluten allergy. The service was great and the food was delicious as well. I highly recommend coming here!
Honmachi Sushi & Teppanyaki Stone Oak Location
Awesome place to celebrate a bday or special night out! (Wiwi/Kiwi) was an awesome chef and kept us all entertained! Highly recommend. I feel like I already ate half and this is what my plate looked like.
Very good comfort food, I could come here every time I’m in the area and hungry for Japanese food. The chicken teriyaki was cooked on par, the white rice is right on, the miso soup is very tasty and the tempura is very good.
Thai Casa on broadway
We came for lunch, and had a blast! The garlic stir fry was surprisingly good. Egg drop soup was cold; you should ask the waiter to bring a hot portion if served. But I came for the entrees, and was pleased, and full. 😋😋😋
Food is always so delicious and fresh! Love the atmosphere and attentive staff! Cheese rolls are my personal fav and the sushi is perfection!
Thai walzem Cuisine
Been meaning to come here, had some time and since I tried Pho9 across the street I decided to make one more trip out here from Medical Center. Waited for them to open at 11 on a Monday. Really nice people here, said they've been here about 5years. On their recommendations I ordered the Yellow Curry w/Chicken- medium spiciness. Was really pretty tasty. Appetizer of Shrimp Blanket-6, Fresh (Veggies) Rolls-2. Both were excellent and filling. Complimentary soup of the day was Egg Drop. I'll be back to try their other cuisines of sushi rolls, Chinese,, Vietnamese. Give them a try 😉
I was really looking forward to a good meal and a 5 star review, but was sadly I was very disappointed. My friend and I decided to try them on a Tuesday afternoon about 4:30 pm. The restaurant was dead, we were the only guests there. We ordered Thai Tea to drink and were served regular ice tea. For food we ordered dumplings and Chicken Satay to start. The dumplings were over-fried and hard to eat. The Chicken Satay (chicken on a stick) was fried to a crisp, dried out and hurt my teeth to eat. The Peanut sauce wasn’t served warm. My friend ordered Chicken Larb (Chicken salad according to the staff) which had beautiful presentation but was weird in that it had peppers in it. This made it sweet not savory and that is not how traditional Chicken Larb is prepared. I was craving Pad Thai and was sorely disappointed when it came out with crusty, dried out and off tasting tofu. The whole dish just tasted old. When I decided to go to wash my hands the temperature in the bathrooms was 92°. Wow! So, Instead of leaving satisfied I left not eating even half our food, bloated and nauseous. Sad to say I will never return.
Phở Hải An
For me when I eat at a restaurant the service and the people who run it is key for me. If the food is really good but the service sucks, the staff is rude, then food seems to taste not as good. But if the people are kind and friendly, the staff is accommodating, the owner are caring, it can make the food taste extraordinary. The owners of this restaurant is a very kind couple. Honest folks who want to share good Vietnamese tastes with the community. They take pride in their cooking and treat their restaurant like their second home. Five Stars all around. Thank you!✨️✨️✨️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Leaving the supermarket across the street we were hungry and have always wanted to try this place out. Walking up the parking lot was empty, when we walked in we were the only patrons inside! We were greeted right away and sat right away. Few moments later our drink and food orders were taken. Drinks were brought out right away Ice tea and a lemonade which were both good. We received our food shortly after the pho looked great, the fixings were looking a little old and wilted but we kept them. After my wife fixed up her bowl she said it was still just missing something. I ordered the sauteed chicken and vegetables with Pan fried noodles! With a little soy and siracha they were great! Noodles perfectly cooked, tender chicken and al dente veggies! The place is huge, and like I said we were the only patrons... It was clean and quiet and showing signs of age but a nice place to eat. We visit the supermarket monthly so we'll definitely be back.
