Decent quick chinese food take out on Connecticut Avenue near the Woodley Park/Zoo/Adams Morgan metro red line station. I ordered the Tofu with Mixed Vegetables lunch special which came with plain fried rice. I asked for it to be spicy and the tofu dish was good, fresh, and spicy as requested. The fried rice was rather bland. Seating outside. No table service.

I got the Kung Pao chicken lunch special. And I was expecting something really small, but I was more than surprised that the portion was huge! The food quality is great! I don't know what other people are writing. I would definitely come back again. Not only excellent value for the money but also very tasty for Chinese food! I've had Chinese food all over the place and this is definitely very good.

11.2024 We had an amazing experience at P.F. Chang's To Go in Washington! The food was delicious, with generous portions and a great selection of dishes. The General Tso's chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful. The egg rolls and Mongolian beef were also outstanding. Even though it says "to go," you can eat inside; they have a small dining area. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the quick service made it a perfect meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and tasty dining option!

This location is a stain on an otherwise excellent chain. Got carry out here twice: once a year ago - Mongolian Beef that tasted terrible. Thought I’d give em another chance but this experience was even worse. The food was ready about 25 minutes after the pick-up time, staff looked miserable and tired, and the food was mediocre.

Absolutely gross, dirty, and terrible customer service. Not to mention, I asked for two extra packets of sweet-and-sour sauce and you would have thought I asked for the entire inventory. Just nasty, just rude. Just playing disrespectful with no sense of customer service skills.

The only reason this place is still in business is because there are no local Chinese Carryout’s nearby. The lady who answers the phone customer service is horrible and gets worse by year. If you have time try HONG KONG CARRYOUT on East Capitol ST or if you’re not looking for American Chinese food try Young Chow on Pennsylvania AVE. This place IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Guys wait this is good, I live near by an I was a little skeptical bc of the area but this is delicious and 7.50 the neighborhood has done a 180 since I’ve been here so don’t worry about that. Come give it a try. Reviewed by a black woman.

The food is generally good in a pinch. These dumplings though? The dough is sooo thick it's distracting from the filling and the sauce. I wind up mostly eating the filling and leaving the dough. I get the steamed dumplings.

If you’re an adult, do not get their half steak and cheese it literally fits on a hamburger bun. Chicken is extra dry and taste wild. I have attached a picture of the little bit of meat fitting on a hamburger bun

I love Singapore noodle and this is the first time I have ever had Singapore noodle and did not like it. It was over seasoned and all I taste is the seasoning it was too much. I did not finish it. The steak and cheese egg roll and the shrimp egg roll were nasty and dry like very dry.

An amazing family run establishment. I ordered online and picked up without issue. Food was perfectly seasoned. Especially the Orange Beef. A good hint of orange and crispy beef. The Beef Chow Ho Fun was amazing too. Good wok hei. Only criticism would be to fold the Crab Rangoons better and with more Crab.

Chicken with Broccoli and white rice for 13.85$. Food is ready in 7-8 minutes, but quite pricey for meal size. Interior of the restaurant is bad, employees are not the nicest ones, forcing you to pay cash, but for relatively healthy meal and take out orders is good place. Usual chinese restaurant, like any other. Overall rating of this place 3/5, although food itself is 4.5/5 , I like chinese food 😃

It's hard to beat the $11 lunch special, which includes a nice selection of entrees and a cup of soup. I had Won Ton Soup and Chicken with Garlic Sauce. Close to the Foggy Bottom Metro and a great place to stop for lunch on the way to or from the Vietnam Memorial, especially if you're on a budget.

The is a hidden gem!! The customer service was the best here in DC so far, food was great! This is deffintly a place I'd recommend! Try the lunch specials! $11.

We ordered sweet & sour chicken, beef & brocolli both with fried rice & egg roll along with an order of Wontong Egg Drop Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, & it came with an order of Free General Tao’s Chicken.. I see why it was FREE! They could have kept it! The egg drop soup tasted BURNT! The shrimp fried rice was MUSHY and the fried rice was NOT FLAVORFUL! The beef and brocolli.. I don’t think that is beef. It was GROSS!! You couldn’t even chew it and the sauce was nasty and tasted BURNT as well. It was BAD! The sweet and sour chicken was decent and the sweet tea was good! That’s IT! This other stuff is what you feed to someone you hate! We called and spoke with 2 ladies and she told me different people ordered & no one complained today. I asked do you cook 1 big batch of fried rice or cook it separately when ordered?? She claimed they cook it separately. I asked so how would it taste the same? I’m telling you this taste burnt & I asked if they could come get the food back and return our money?? I told her I’m good with paying for the tea & the sweet n sour chicken. She said no she won’t refund it because we don’t like the taste of how they cook. I said NO it’s because it taste BURNED! Then she said we close in 20 minutes so if you can bring it back by then I will refund you. I said Lady, you know you just delivered to our hotel & we don’t have a vehicle, which is WHY we ordered DELIVERY, so you know we can’t make it but your guy just left so he can come get it & you can refund us something?? She refused!! Don’t WASTE your money! It’s GARBAGE and I’m telling the Manager & Employees to destroy their advertisements and don’t let them put their menu in thus hotel! GROSS GROSS GROSS GROSS!? Is there a way to rate this a Triple Negative Zero???

So ever since I moved to dc I’ve tried out many Chinese spots and this actually used to be one of my favorite ones, ate it a dozen times. Like any place it had its moments but was overall decent/good despite other people maybe being wary. But this last time while I was eating fried rice and I saw something silver in my food-a staple. It was deep in my fried rice and very grateful that I didn’t swallow it. Then when I tried to get my money back they were rude, didn’t care about the staple, and I didn’t get my money back. I’m very very disappointed by this because I actually liked this place but a staple in my food was definitely the crossing line. I would have maybe returned had they handled the situation better but highly recommend not coming here. The only thing I can do is leave a review and hope others can learn from my experience.

This is one of my favorite places to eat for the last 10 years. My favorite (since I really do not eat allot of meat) is the Egg Drop Soup with plenty of green onions along with Veggie Egg Rolls, so addicted. This is such a clean place. My girl Kathy is the best ever. She is always polite, friendly and professional.

I ordered from this place using uber eats, but they do their own delivery. It is now 1.5 hours past the end of the estimated delivery window. I called over and over again until someone answered (Friday night already ruined at this point waiting for this food). When I spoke to someone, they had an address that was years old and not even in my uber eats account. My receipt shows the correct delivery address. They have even delivered to this most current address recently so I have NO idea why they had my old address! They do not cut off orders when they can’t handle the volume. And then when you get someone on the phone, she starts a conversation with you and asks your address and phone number. then takes another call that you can hear in the background. then talks to someone who walks in the door. Then comes back to you and asks your address and phone number again. Then starts up again with the person who walked in the door. Then picks up the other line again. Then comes back to you and again asks your phone number. Kick this place off the delivery apps OR require that they don’t use their own delivery drivers if they want to remain on the apps so progress is tracked. It’s a mess.

Scam a scam When you make an order, they charge you extra more than actual price from the menu. They do that a lot especially if you’re not paying attention they overcharge you. I seen they do this a lot to Hispanics. This is a very dishonest business. They tried to scam me when I made an order for a lunch special and one egg roll. I asked the lady how much is my order and she say $20. When I confronted the lady, she reduced the price. But that was enough for me. I canceled my order and decided not to come back to the place again. I work very hard for my money and it’s not fair for these people to just come and overcharge you.

One of the only Chinese take outs in the area. I bought lunch for the installers today and this is what they asked for. The prices are high for what it is. Maybe due to no competition and the ridiculous DC taxes. The guys liked the food. My feedback is this: -no reason to not improve the ordering area. It’s filled with posters of food options and pricing. Would not cost much to get a nicer menu presentation. -too many options on the menu, make a smaller menu and they’ll sell more -the employees are very nice and easy to understand Great location and easy street parking. Opposite side of the street from 7-11. I would buy food again from here.

Although it appears a bit pricey, food portions and quality are of value. Just make sure to ask for more rice to give yourself a good ratio to the entree. Soup dumplings were great and the Sizzling combination was very good. Loaded with all the proteins although hard to tell from picture without digging in. Restaurant setting is a bit, old, dingy, musty but in a non-chain way. Food came quick. Staff is no nonsense and to the point. Neither nice or mean. Just matter of fact. Restaurant was to capacity just after the usual lunch rush.

This place is great for families and has great drinks. It gave us the option of using chopsticks. Tony Chang has sweet sauce and cheesy chicken. I ordered some scrumptious shrimp spring rolls and some nice rice which came with delicious scrambled eggs. I got chewy, hot, spicy meat with soft mushrooms. The restaurant had wonderful speggeti with the BEST SHRIMP. I also got some warm and flavorful Wonton soup which became my favorite and came with something that was crunch and chip-like. They gave us some exciting fortune cookies which some of the kids thought were pointless😉. The atmosphere is wonderful and peaceful. Overall, Tony Cheng had excellent food and is one of the best restaurants I've went to with the exceptions of Don Churro Resturant in Chantilly and KikiRiki Restaurant in Woodbridge which no one can beat!!!😁😁😁

Not what I was expecting I do not like it. My chow menu looks like omen it should not be watery nasty.

There is no indoor dining area, so it's take out or delivery, but the food is great and they are always fast. You get a lot for the price. Definitely recommend.
