New China Buffet
I hadn't expected the buffet to be so good. There was a nice variety, and the hot food was hot, and the desserts were the proper temperature as well. The price was very affordable! Loved this buffet.
The pictures are pretty self explanatory. š¤¢Found this in my beef and broccoli. Was about an inch and a half long. Look at your food before you put it in your mouth yāall!
King City Restaurant
I canāt wait to move from this side. I gave this Carryout way too many chances and money. I honestly shouldāve been stopped spending. The food is TRASH the Customer Service is OUT THE WINDOW and just drive by the place and you tell me what YOU like about it. They fell off so bad man. And Iām tired of getting what THEY want me to have Vs What I asked for. Just sloppy! Smh my last time spending with them. Never again.
I ordered two burgers that came on subs with more sauce than meat, I ordered fryās with salt pepper ketchup instead I just got ketchup and mumbo sauce. On top of that driver basically demanded a tip, do your self a favor and just go to goodhope seafood only reason I didnāt was cuz they closed early today!!!!
Seafood Restaurant
Do not eat here. The restaurant looked somewhat authentic and I was fooled. Worst food ever and we ended up paying over $80 for a small soup, a small appetizer and a regular dish. Food quality simply sucks. I am shocked to see itās still in business and people are actually eating there. I have been to so many Chinese restaurants in the US and this is easily the worst. Stay away.
Tried to do the first floor restaurant but it was closed so wandered upstairs. The fact that it was mostly empty should have been a good indication, but the food was bland. I paid $28 for a Chef's special and it was terribly bland. Like give me Panda Express instead, bland. They also force you to give a certain amount in tip.

Hunan Wok
This Chinese restaurant offers convenient and efficient service.
Food was so good! My husband had shredded beef with garlic sauce...he said it was the best Chinese he's ever had! (Tho he couldn't taste the garlic). The pork fried rice and boneless ribs I ordered were delicious. Ribs weren't over cooked swimming in a sweet BBQ sauce like some I've had. Really enjoyed the shrimp toast.
Asian Kitchen
We stopped by just by chance when driving from NYC. Very happy we did it. Cozy place, fast service, food was delicious and way cheaper than NY.
Been going to Asian Kitchen for years and hands down the best Chinese food around. Taste is always consistent and food is also ready fast. The customer service is outstanding. Michelle is so friendly and greets each customer with a smile. She easily makes this place 5 stars!
The Po Cafe
Loved it. We were too late for breakfast but lunch was lovely. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was tender and flavorful- only slight complaint was it had a large chunk of fat. My boyfriend had the chicken winner sandwich- think the best, most perfectly cooked chick-fil-a chicken sandwich ever x10. We dined outside with our pup and the atmosphere and view were just gorgeous. Would absolutely return.
The Po Cafe in Washington is truly a hallmark. But, the true treasure lies within their staff. Going to the Po on Saturdays has become a tradition with me and my sister Madeline. Every Saturday morning we are greeted with enthusiasm by Josh and after a long week of hard work, it is genuinely refreshing. You can always count on him to put a smile on your face! The food is incredible and clean in terms of ingredients and the coffee is strong and rich. The aura of the business is even better. Tasty food is easy to come by, but exceptional customer service in todayās world is not. Thank you Josh and the Po for being a cozy and comfortable spot for me and my sister
China Boy
Meal: Dim Sum Day Visited: Sunday Budget: $15 Closest Station: Gallery Place/China Town Reservation Needed?: N/A Payment: Cash; Credit Kid Friendly?: Yes English Menu?: Yes Little Red Book (a Chinese social media site) rarely steers us wrong when it comes to Chinese restaurant recommendations, but they missed the mark in this case. Mediocre quality dim sum, including some suspect shrimp dumplings. Mediocre food and a fairly dirty dining room all made for a disappointing experience.
Small little Chinese eatery . Everything must freshly made āļø. . Every thing we ordered tasted great. No exception. Portion for the buns and dumplings are minimal. For the loin mein and rice were reasonable. . For DC standards is reasonably priced. For adult tummy filling meal be ready to spent $20 per adult. .
Sichuan Pavilion
Food was big family style dishes. Chicken with hot dry peppers is a must. If you havenāt tried Sichuan chicken before and you like hot food then you definitely need to. Such a weird and cool experience. Itās spicy but in a different way.
Cozy Chinese spot on K street. No reservations when we walked in for dinner but they can get busy. Food comes out extremely fast (less than 5-10 minutes from when we ordered) and the menu is large. Recommend the kung pao chicken but other than every other dish was average at best. Prices are a little expensive for Chinese but you are in DC.
Da Hong Pao Restaurant and Bar
Food was awesome, it was all good. Ordered a lot and our favorite is the Peking duck. Service was super fast, I thought Barry Allen worked there. Place is really easy to get to and ambiance, is ⦠just like any other restaurants BUT we didnāt go there for the ambiance.
Nice and cozy. Very friendly, professional and courteous staffs, way better than all the other Chinese restaurants Iāve been to. I would definitely come back if I need comfort foods. Honestly I donāt enjoy the Hot&Sour soup, it is thicker than expected. But all the others are great! But Chicken feet is amazing! Porridge is very generous and delicious as well.
Tiger Fork
Truly phenomenal! The food was great and the service was speedy and accommodating. I came here for dinner and left satisfied and will definitely be back. I was especially impressed with the broccoli, cucumber salad, and char siu pork. Iāll be back to try the chow fun, desserts, and duck! Update - while I cannot write a second review, I want to shoutout the staff at Tiger Fork for going above and beyond each time we visit. Jake and his team go out of their way to ensure each meal is more special than the last.
Definitely plan to share plates if you come here. We got one āvegetable,ā stir fried cauliflower, an appetizer, mah Leung, and two entrees, veggie fried rice and char siu, and split most of it. The favorite was definitely the cauliflower, and the tofu in the fried rice was perfectly chewy. Plates came out quick so consider ordering them once or twice at a time or your table will get super full! Their cocktails were tasty, although not very strong. Altogether, I recommend!
Reren Lamen & Bar
Oh my! This food was amazing! This is my first time having Lamen but if I had to say it was awesome. I also had the seaweed salad and chicken and pork buns. For the price.you get a lot of delicious food. The service is great and fast. Give this place a try and you will be full and extremely satisfied!
We loved eating at this place. The food was delicious, and the service was quick. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and got a table. It took a little while for someone to take our order, but the food arrived quickly after that. I requested some modifications to my dish, and they made them without any issue. It was a great choice in terms of price and flavor.
