Ordered the double cooked pork. It definitely tastes several days old. It has a weird funky flavor like when you leave your food in the fridge for days and it gets a sweet yet awful sour taste. Smells how it tastes. The fried rice is very bland and doesn’t look fresh either. Shrimp was good though. The cold sesame noodles were the worst. I believe they slapped peanut butter with a bit of sesame oil on the noodles. It’s goopy and absolutely difficult to eat. Needless to say, the food was not finished and I ended up eating homemade food. Guess it was a sign.

Late night munchie spot with the subs i be getting all the time. They small but clean and the food good at a good price. They have drinks available like beer and soda. The menu is simple and is straightforward. Good experience but make sure to add up your order before you pay to make sure you not getting overcharged. 4 stars maybe I might stop by for a lunch special.

I honestly can’t tell if people are being blackmailed into writing one-star reviews for this restaurant or if their experiences were just that bad, but I completely disagree with the low ratings! While Golden House Chinese Restaurant doesn’t offer indoor seating, they more than make up for it with their incredible food. I’ve been coming here for a long time, and it’s about time I left an honest review. The food here is simply AMAZING. I’ve ordered the orange chicken and sesame chicken several times, and every single time, I’ve been blown away by the flavor and quality. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a quick bite that doesn’t compromise on taste, I highly recommend Golden House Chinese Restaurant. It’s easily one of my favorite spots to grab delicious Chinese food. Quick note: I ordered my orange chicken with no broccoli. :)

The spot is small, no seating, not that near, but it’s made for takeout. Although I have no business eating this junk food it tastes pretty good. Customer service is good, workers are friendly. Speedy service. Portions are good for the price.

A Complete Letdown If I could rate this place below one star, I truly would. The presentation upon arrival was shocking—unappetizing and carelessly thrown together. The chicken rice noodles were tasteless, unseasoned, and lacked any redeeming qualities. The chicken was somehow both uncooked/overcooked in appearance— flaccid.The noodles soggy, and the overall flavor was a greasy, bland mess. This place should not consider itself a restaurant—it’s clear they lack the basic knowledge of cooking and food prep. Having had a much better version of this dish at Meiwah in Chevy Chase, I deeply regret not making the trip there instead. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better spot.

What a great local, no frills Chinese take-out restaurant! We had been looking for an affordable, fast but tasty American-Chinese cuisine and Golden House fit the hill! We ordered several dishes including beef with broccoli, Chinese eggplant with chicken, moo shi vegetables, pork lo mein, and spare ribs. All dishes were made correctly and delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We ordered on Uber eats it’s absolutely disgusting. Even the spring rolls are an edible. The chicken I ordered is beyond my imagination. It looks like it comes out of a dog pâté box. Gross

AWFUL! Roast pork fried rice was greasy; seasoned with onion only - no vegetables. The tofu in the hot and sour soup was not fresh; moreover, the soup's flavors were not balanced. It was discarded. FOOD was delivered within the stated time frame.

I ordered from Beijing Delight. The General Taos Shrimp. It was specially poignant and fresh. Their broccoli was highly nourishing and it eclipsed the flavor of the shrimp, easily. I saw signs that the food sources were sincerely thanked. I do not know where Beijing Delight is coming from but their recipe is quite refreshing and their philosophy is clean and small ego. It isn't greasy takeout, it is from the high pan of quality! This is my first time but I am thankful for the zen of Beijing Delight, clean cooked and subtlely fresh, its quality visible in the aura. Listen, I'm telling you the veggies eclipsed the shrimp, difficult to do and passionately cooked 5/5 I am thankful I chose them, a good fate chinese gourmet

Nearby restaurant with pretty decent food. There are several chinese restaurants in the area, but many do not have the selections Beijing serves. The lady at the counter is not the friendliest, but I know she's not mad at me, so I just get my food and go.

Good is ok, nothing extraordinary. this place is super busy. crazy the number of people visiting this location, the first table very small and 5 minutes later, we get a middle size decent location but before we finished the plate they moved us for third time to other table, so be ready for a roller-coaster experience, my girlfriend was about to throw up. Definitely, I'm not coming back.

If you ask me a place of crap I don’t recommend it at all the horrible service and they still demand your own I went to eat with my daughter the cashier charged 25.86 and when my card threw it she accepted it cancel and they didn’t let me in Xk according to I hadn’t paid when they had already charged nor did they still blame me and that according to I hadn’t paid and when the manager arrived to fix it they told me that they were going to charge me but only a charge 🙄 but I still couldn’t come in to eat

My friend and I walked in and ordered Take Out from a super friendly and helpful young man. We waited not even 15 minutes and it was ready. My lunch combination included an egg roll and good portion of orange chicken with fried rice. It was really good but the rice needed more saltiness, so it helped with soy sauce! The crab rangoon was the tastiest I have eaten!! My friend’s house lo mein was flavorful and had shrimp, pork and chicken. She loved it! We shared a large wonton soup as well as a steamed vegetables dish. Excellent soup!! The inside eating area is beautiful and I will eat in sometime. This is definitely a restaurant to visit again !!

This is the worst Chinese food I ever had. I trusted the good reviews against my better judgement on the picture. The fried rice was NASTY, dry and no flavor. The sesame chicken is dry and the sauce has ZERO flavor. The egg roll was decent. Do yourself a favor and don’t believe the good reviews, either they are from the owner or from ppl who have no clue what good food is. Spent my hard worked money on this GARBAGE and I couldn’t even eat it. You shouldn’t have a restaurant!!!!

Can not recommend. I ordered general tso's chicken lunch combo with fried rice . A basic order. The portion was fairly large. That was the good part. It also came with choice of soda or soup. So it seemed like a good deal for $8.00. However the chicken was almost all batter with many pieces having no chicken in them. Even the larger pieces had almost no chicken. It was fried very crispy and a good sauce but that was not enough to trick me into not realizing that I was eating all fried coating and almost no chicken at all. I've had this same order from many other places 50 or more times and this restaurant had the least meat inside of the pieces of all of the places I have tried in my lifetime. Would rather skip the soup or get a smaller portion with some actual meat. Wish it was better. I never leaves reviews.

It was my first time eating here we’ve will definitely be my last . I am highly upset i honestly feel like i wasted my money . When i walked in i should have just turned around because it was funky in there like a sour mop and mop water smell. The grease was old and they prepared my food in old grease. I immediately got sink and had the stomach bug after I ate the food. It was extremely greasy and I will rate them 1/10 starts .After I took a bite out the egg roll it was dripping so much oil I threw it away so please don’t go here

Always doordash from here and am always happy. Wonton is great, fried rice and dumpling are my favorite. Husband loves the barbecue wings. We've tried about 5 other Chinese restaurants in the area and have decided this is our favorite!

Third time they just gave me random food, when asked what I want after calling back, again, they said ‘ok’ when I said they gave me the wrong item. No sorry, no we’ll replace it, just ok anything else…. Well, third time’s the charm. Got luck with whoever ventures there😂

Food is great. But almost impossible to order over the phone. You can’t understand the guy and he can’t understand you. Been giving the wrong thing multiple times. Call back to try and get it fixed. And the guy just repeats what you say like a parrot

I'd love to give them a 4, but I was so disappointed in the shrimp fried rice that I can't. Other things we had were decent. In fact, their shrimp egg rolls are top-notch.

What can I say, but wow. Fast service, the food was hot, fresh and oh so good. I ordered from Door dash and they were fast too. Maybe I caught them at the right time or maybe try then yourself.

Used to be a loyal customer. Keyword used to. Quality of food has gone way down. Service is way down. Workers don't even know the menu. Oh and if you call in to order they just put you through to Door Dash.....so save your time and if you really want to get it use your app and save the 4.99 delivery fee. So disappointing.

Order online for store pick up. Waited at store a few minutes for food, when home found some food missing. Called to complain and was asked what site I ordered from than pushed off the phone before I could really tell problem. Was told the manger will call me back about the issue. Will see if get a call back. So did NOT get all my food for the money I spent. Very disappointing.
