This place has changed hands again within the last 4 months. I have had dinner here 5 times or so in that time. They are consistently good quality. The pepper steak is excellent- moist and tender with great bell pepper flavor. The variety of dishes on offer is very good, but the quality of the food and the flavor is above what is being offered elsewhere particularly in this very inflationary environment where every other restaurant is trying to find ways to make cuts. I would also like to point out the pastries in the last photo are known here as egg cakes. These egg cakes are unique, with a perfect sweetness and excellent exterior crunch with moist rich interior. Absolutely excellent and you will love them! This place is very very family friendly! Bring your children it will be ok, no one will mind or be stuck-up! I'm loving this new iteration of Bamboo garden.

I don’t know what you guys expecting in a $12.99 buffet! Because I see a lot of bad reviews and I had a good time. Food was ok, place was clean!

Just came up place says it's open tried doors their locked and the lights are out or dimmed.tables have chairs on top suspect they are closed

I got here late about 9pm. They didn't have the meat i wanted but were willing to make it. The staff were all courteous. While I waited, I got to see this great crew at this location doing some of their cleaning. They did by far the best, most thorough job cleaning of everything. I was totally impressed with how clean this location was and how great this crew and manager did tonight!

This is the best location of Panda Express I've been to. The people are always very friendly, even when they are busy, the inside of the restaurant is very clean and open so you can see everything going on in the kitchen, and I have never gotten food from here that was not good. It's always hot and fresh every time. And the wait is nothing compared to some other locations. I don't think I've ever waited more than 6 or 7 minutes. 👍👍

Very good Japanese restaurant in Carnegie area. This is our goto restaurant for good asian food. They really take care of our instructions each time we order, especially when you need vegetarian food when they serve non vegetarian. Nice customer service from the staff, willingness to help and friendly people. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for asian food.

Kasai Kogi Bar is by far the best and most authentic Korean food I have had. Almost everything is fresh and chopped to order including meats and vegetables. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys Korean or Asian Cuisine Update: This is now my regular spot for Korean and Chinese food. I go at least once a week for Pork Belly with Gochujang. I cannot stress enough the freshness of the Korean food that is prepared in front of you. 12/10 recommend.

Horrible food. Dumplings were dry and had about a teaspoon of filling. The dipping sauce was good. Hot and sour soup was mostly broth( flavorful) but almost zero mushrooms or tofu, zero black fungus. The house special eggs foo young ( which was to have shrimp,chicken and pork was direly lacking meat and I found no shrimp. The gravy was very dark brown and only salty. I’d not recommend or order here again.

I’ve been ordering from China City for almost 20 years now, but over the last year or so, the quality has plummeted. The last time I ordered the fried wonton appetizer, they were either fried in super old oil or just way over cooked… Had to toss them. The next time I ordered, I got a couple pork egg rolls (which used to be DELICIOUS), but now are like a Great Value frozen store bought quality… Terrible. This last time was strike three… As you can see in the photo, this is their version of beef chow mein - a container of beef and cabbage in brown-flavored water with a small bag of store bought crispy chow mein noodles. Google “beef chow mein” and see what it’s supposed to look like in the images. This is just too much. What a shame.

I purchased a lunch meal with egg roll. My first bite into the egg roll was filled with grease. Absolutely no flavor. It took 3 bites before I could taste shrimp. When I took a bite of my very hot chicken lol mein another month of tasteless greasy food. It smelled of grease and couldn't even make it taste any better with Duck sauce. I can truthfully say this was the worst food I have ever eaten.

Rice is not correctly cooked and the food test well below my expectation. Eggroll was not attached as promised in the menu.

Got takeout and was served raw chicken for the General Tso's. Stay away

I'm so happy to have a takeout place near me that has excellent pork fried rice. I love it! they have coupons for free egg rolls which is cool and they have an option to make general tso's chicken with all white meat and even make it not spicy because my other half can't handle spice lol. I recommend this place!

I can not express the joy my daughter and I felt when we finally found an Asian buffet restaurant. On top of locating Fortune Star, we were impressed by the service, taste of the food, and variety of food choices. Our server was very attentive and constantly cleared our plates and refilled our drinks. We went during the late afternoon, so there are more food choices. Prices are different, like most restaurants. There's the lunch price and dinner. Very reasonable! For sure, we will return.

So listen. All I wanted was some Boboa tea. Found this place across the street from CVS. I wnt in and was completely astonish 😲. I gotta bring my friends here and try these egg pastries. Mimd-blowing delicious!!

My daughter and I stopped here for an early dinner at her suggestion. Good call! The food was fresh, fast and prepared well. We started with a California Roll that was excellent. WW Shrimp & vegetables for me and chicken Lo-Mein for her. Both were excellent as well. I’m addition, our server was fantastic. I was I had asked for her name. Highly recommended.

MOST 😡😡😡😡😡 are unhealthy, greasy, salty or overly sweet, or over fried As such, it is surprisingly pleasant 😎 😎😎😎 to actually find a chinese-style eatery deserving 4⭐️s. TO BE CLEAR, food here is NOT traditional / authentic to any of the regional cuisines of China. It’s an AMERICAN VERSION, which is dismal in the vast majority of eateries in America and the West. The chinese-style menu has changed and has improved over the course of year👏👏👏. There seems to be a more creative “chef speciality” section. 😊Palace Platter Appetizer (good for 2-3): a very good sampling of flavorful American starters. *** throw away that pesky crab rangoon, ask for egg roll instead, AND ask for hot chili oil to lift up flavors*** 😊 Seven Wonders (large serving good for 2): a surprisingly delightful medley of fried chicken fillet and fried shrimp served on top of sautéed beef, scallops and crunchy veggies. Flavorful without the grease. 😊 Pork Egg Roll: Surprisingly very flavorful by itself without the need of a dipping sauce. Pack filling, without the typical greasiness. 😊 Vegetable Delight: a lovely sauté of mixed crunchy vegetables, subtle flavors, silken sauce. 😊 Eggplant Dumplings (good for 2-3): probably the most creative listing. Chinese Eggplant stuffed with shrimps and scallops, lightly breaded and fried, served with tart-lightly sweet brown sauce… 👏👏 to my palate, there’s lively semblance of Shanghainese flavor. First time at an Panda Express and can't say enough good things about Terry aka Craig according to his name tag. Super personal, energetic and very efficient. He should be the role model for all your restaurants. now the food, it was fresh, hot and very good! We will definitely be back!

Let’s just say I got old food! My egg roll was cooked in old grease and the filling was bare minimum! How do you mess up shrimp mei fun it’s only noodles and shrimp! NEVER I REPEAT NEVER AGAIN! I been on the toilet all day!

The best hole in the wall Chinese place in the area. We’ve been getting them for over 8 years and never been disappointed. The portions vs price are HUGE for what you pay. Always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Dumplings are delicious and soft, but crispy edges. Chicken and broccoli is the dish I recommend. Shrimp fried rice is always very good as well. Two orders of 8 dumplings, an order of cheese rangoons, a large chicken broccoli with rice (lasted two meals), and a general tsos with rice (lasted two meals). Was $45. Fed four people for multiple days!

Delicious, hot food, always ready in 10-15 minutes. The two gentlemen at the front are always very polite and kind. I order the chicken broccoli, which has excellent meat and fresh broccoli.

I had heard that this location had changed ownership recently, I drove right past Asian Star in leetsdale to go out of my way to coraopolis just to try the food with the new owner - big mistake ! Their food is more expensive and not nearly as good. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was just mediocre, it lacked the normal spices and flavor - it tasted like everything was cooked in beef broth rather than being mildly hot and spicy like Kung Pao is supposed to be. It was even watery rather than saucy. I was asked if I wanted white rice or fried rice thinking I was being given a choice - they failed to mention the going with the fried rice would be at least $2 more. By the time I paid and left it was $17.11 with tax which makes it $4 and $5 more than most other places for food that was only substandard. Even the fried rice was not very good, it was basically just rice it was fried in a little oil - no flavor whatsoever and not at all like normal fried rice from anywhere else. This place was a huge and pricey disappointment. It was not at all of the quality it used to be war of the quality of the other local Chinese restaurants. I've had Chinese from all over the United States and this by far was the worst of all. Never again will I bother going there even if I was right there nearby - instead I would travel out of my way to leetsdale ambridge or five points because it would certainly be worth the trip. Anyone who claims this is really good Chinese food or worse yet the best or great obviously does not know good Chinese food - therefore no credibility and no relevance.
