Fancy Lee Asian Bistro 'n' Sushi
Great sushi, great service, great deal! Fancy Lee is high-end cuisine reasonably priced!
It was our first time going there and the food was decent. We sat down and it took almost 10 minutes to get our drink and food order. There were only five people in the whole restaurant at the time, so it was a little disappointing for a first impression. There were two waiters and one seemed to be doing the whole restaurant by himself while the other was on his phone/ hiding out by the bar most of the time. He was supposed to be our waiter but eventually the other young man took over and served us. As far as the food, everything can out hot and fresh. The brown rice was amazing! We’ll go back during busier hours just to see if the service will be better. All in all it’s a cute spot that would be great for date night or group gatherings.
JBBQ Hot Pot & BBQ
I spent my Birthday here and what an amazing experience. The food and is absolutely amazing and so is the service. Giovanni went above and beyond to make my day special and fun. I recommend the unlimited hot pot and BBQ. Everything is fresh and the ready to eat appetizers are very good as well. Totally worth every penny. Especially good for large groups. Keep in mind it can be a bit confusing at first but the staff will help you out with that part once you get the hang of it you’ll be coming back. I will be coming back!
What a great experience, we went during lunch and for the price of like twenty bucks it was well worth it. Fresh meat and veggies and the hotpot and bbq grill was so much fun. Giovanni our server was amazing and I can’t say enough about how great he was! He was so personable and explained the menu patiently and efficiently. The other staff was so quick in bringing out everything l, we will definitely go back. Make sure you tip good they work hard here and even help you grill your items.
Number 1 Chinese Kitchen
My local. Never had a bad meal or any kind of trouble here. Definitely worth a visit.
I ordered a small order of ribs. It cost $9.75. Saturday night. I didn't want to cook This order comes with 5 ribs. When I got home and tried to take a bite of a rib, i realized it was RAW. This is not my first time eating ribs. They sold me raw ribs with barbecue sauce on it. Lol. I couldn't even bite the meat When I called the female told me " Don't order it next time because that's how we make it" Trust me. There will be no next time. Disgusting
Lasaka House of Noodles
I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a lot of positive reviews, this place is AWESOME. Not only the food was absolutely delicious but the staff were VERY nice and very friendly, you get A LOT of food with a GREAT price. I was going to get Sarku Japan but this place is 10000000% better, more variety of food, PLUSSSSS they make bubble tea. WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I usually get the coconut bubble tea, and they made it perfect. This place is my spot now!!
Great food court restaurant. Huge servings, and tastes so good. Lomein, Bourbon chicken, strings beans and broccoli amazing. Soany voices of milk teas and fruit teas. Had the mango milk tea was delicious. Can't wait to try the rest.
Sake Asian
Such a great place with an incredible lunch special all you can eat deal for only $26! The quality of the sushi is amazing for the price! If you order a lot of sushi rolls, you can also get it on a sushi boat!
Great food for a great price. All the servers and staff are so sweet and attentive. My boyfriend and I's favorite all you can eat sushi spot. And he loves their Thai iced tea. Definitely recommend for any sushi lovers.
Long River
This was my Fam GO-TO for years (15plus) Im not sure whats happening, but the food has been terrible. Rice is undercooked, lack on flavor. Lunch Sushi is nothing like before. The portion is shocking. Shrimp tempura tasted like plain rice. Barely any ingredients. Spicy Mayo is nothing like the old Spicy Mayo they used to have. Im so dissapointed. Now itss a Hit or miss.
This used to be an amazing restaurant. New ownership seems to be affecting the quality of the food. On a positive note, the service was really good.
Four Season Kitchen
My office orders from here often never had a problem until today. I bit down on my dumpling & tooth cracked . Just for a staple to be inside of my food ! I called tried to be nice just ask for a refund & whoever I spoke with started screaming at me saying I’m lying & wrong. My whole office saw my reaction while eating my lunch biting into it.
My first impression of this place was positive The establishment was clean and the service was on point. The food was delicious.
Mala Town 自选麻辣烫
so clean, so many veggie, fish cake/tofu, and noodle options, quick and respectful staff service. the broth is on the saltier side but very warm and comfortable meal otherwise ~ more worth than regular hot pot in my opinion bc you can get what you want and how much you want. sauce bar was great with complimentary tea and water
Have gone a several times and has been amazing! Very good soup and ingredients you can choose yourself. The signature beef bone broth in medium spice is perfect. The sauce bar is also very nicely.
ShoYu Boston
This is a very small Chinese restaurant with only a few tables inside. The main business I guess is take out orders. There’s a big section of barbecue meats. It includes roast pig, barbecue pork, white chicken and barbecue ribs. I’ve tried everything except for the barbecue pork but I knew it’s good. The roast pig is the best. It has really crispy skin and all the meats are tasty. I always ordered barbecue meats on rice bento box which also includes Chinese greens. It’s 11.99 for 1 meat, 12.99 for 2 meats and 12.99 for 3. It’s really worth to order the 3 meats. Remember to ask for extra sauce on rice. I always return.
I heard their bbq was above average and so we came for late lunch and were seated right away. They have two small rooms and they sat us near the entrance so we were cold every time the door opened. The 2 way bbq rice plate with soy sauce chicken and roast pig with crispy skin was served cold - well room temperature but they are in the entrance area so it’s pretty cold. Portion was on the modest side and the chicken was a bit undercooked for my liking and I am accustomed to the Chinese style of doneness but this was too undercooked. The soy sauce chicken did not have the rich taste it should so not sure they are using a well seasoned master sauce. The roast pig was ok and had a good proportion of fat to lean but the skin was barely crispy and the taste was rather bland. Disappointing bbq. We also ordered spare ribs and bitter melon rice plate and despite the black bean sauce, it was also bland. The yee mein had a nice wok hay and reminded me of my grandmother’s noodles. Service is efficient and place is clean with cute decor. They have an extensive menu so maybe we will return and try other items. U bet they shine when you are with a large group and order family style.
Victoria Seafood
We went to Victoria with some friends for dinner. It was REALLY cold outside so we sat in the back of the restaurant away from the window area. The restaurant serves very good Cantonese food. I was really happy to have a nice warm Chinese meal during our travels. Over-all, I was very happy with the food and service. Would I eat there again ? Yes ! The food was delicious.
We had preserved meat claypot, plus a squid dish with vegetables. The former was excellent, the latter very good but the squid was a little tough. The portions were huge! It's not a fancy place but it's very clean. It was pretty crowded and noisy. Service was excellent. We would return and we recommend it.
China Pearl Restaurant
All of this with tax and tip was $30 which I thought was quite pricey for dim sums…so definitely bring 2-3 people to split dim sums with I liked the shui mai the best, it was plump and juicy and filled with bunch of shrimps and pork filling. Would definitely get that again. It was also the biggest shui mai I ever seen too. The chicken feet was objectively good too. I think it was at least 10 chicken feet for $9 which wasn’t too bad? I don’t know it was my first time trying chicken feet The thousand-year egg congee is the one I have issues with because it left such bitter taste in my mouth like so gross. Also the congee itself didn’t look quite clean and freshly made so I ended up eating only half of it. Also there is $1.50 dimsum charge that’s automatically added to your bill and I think that covers the tea. But the restrooms are super clean and the remodeled place is very spacious and nice so I would give this place another try but make sure to bring 2-3 ppl and avoid congee and order other stuff instead
Nice quiet ambience. This place served dim sum as well. Quite disappointed with the Hong Kong style Lobster, not the usual style I had before, do enjoy their salted fish fried rice..
Clay Pot Cafe (旺角Allston)
Food is decent. Decent portions for other foods. The claypot portions are a little small for the price. Excited to finally have some claypot closer than Chinatown. The claypot rice though, could have had more sauce. If you need more, don’t forget to ask for it they will give you extra. The rice rolls on the other hand are meh. Not really worth getting. Wish they had the Hk style.
Clay Pot Cafe is a Cantonese styled Clay Pot restaurant located near Super88 in Allston, expanding from its other store located in Boston's Chinatown. The staff are friendly. It does help if you speak Cantonese, but staff treat you the same if you speak to them in English as well. The food comes out quickly, and the place is cleanly. We got a wide range of clay pot dishes as well as vegetable dishes. The Clay Pot style was replicated very well here, and it tastes like traditional clay pot dishes found in Hong Kong or other enclaves. The price is good for the portion, and the meats were flavorful and went well with the clay pot rice.
