Excellent food, and the main cook is great. They make the best Hunan beef in town, and their buffalo wings aren't bad either. Just make sure they cut up 4 chicken wings for you when ordering. It's just an above average Chinese restaurant all around.
Amazing food and service. Best Chinese I have had in queens

Found this new Szechuan place with high reviews in flushing and wanted to give it a try. The portions are huge and the flavor of each dish is outstanding! We ordered too much and the owner was nice enough to double check with us before letting the order through. We made it clear we wanted to try a lot of things. I’ve had better cabbage. It is missing the wok breath for some reason. The pig feet was outstanding! The duck blood was very good. The fish was outstanding. Didn’t have any muddy taste me at all. Need to dip the flesh into the soup to get the best taste! The chicken dish was also outstanding! I think they also have a lower level as the first level is kind of on the small side. The weirdest thing is the bathroom, it is located past the kitchen all the way in the back. So you have to walk past the kitchen staff and use the toilet right next to the open kitchen. Weird! Will definitely go back and try some other stuff like the pig kidney and frog dishes. We took everything to go after only finishing the fish as that wouldn’t be any good the next day. This is so far the best Szechuan place in flushing and not many people know about it. They also give you a jelly dessert after your meal. You get also two free drinks if your meal is over $100 and 3 drink if your meal is over $160 and so on…. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is likely one of the most authentic and delicious Sichuan cuisine spots in the New York area. I heard that their chef hails from Chengdu, Sichuan, and you can truly taste the chef's skill and deep understanding of Sichuan cuisine in the dishes. Unlike many other Sichuan restaurants, they pay great attention to the details of the ingredients, ensuring you experience the right level of spiciness along with the complex flavors that Sichuan cuisine is known for. They offer a wide variety of dishes, and the three we tried—Yan Wu fish, stir-fried Huang beef, and Mao Xue Wang—were all excellent. Each dish was distinctly flavorful while still capturing the essence of Sichuan cuisine, showcasing the depth and richness of their menu. The service was also commendable, with polite and efficient staff. Due to their popularity, you might have to wait for a table if you arrive late on weekends, and the food might take a bit longer to be served than at other restaurants, but the taste is absolutely worth the wait. Overall, this is a place worth visiting to experience high-quality Sichuan cuisine.
Lao Ke Le Shanghai Cuisine Restaurant - Soup Dumplings Dim Sum Wonton
Authentic cuisine and wonderful flavors! I have been here multiple times with both friends and family, and I am always seated quickly and given a fresh pot of hot tea. They always have this $30 promotion going on where if you spend $30, you can get a dish that is $8.95 or under for $1. I always get the braised beef noodle soup and the broth is always rich and flavorful. It's also a big bowl of noodles - in the picture I had taken I had already taken out 2 small servings and there is still that much left! I'm also a big fan of the mala xiaolongbao, the spice is just right, and it always comes steaming hot and juicy. The other 2 dishes I got were the bok choy and mushroom, and lions head meatball with crab meat/roe. I think the latter was a pretty solid dish, the crab was not that fishy and retained its sweet and delicate flavor even when eaten with the pork meatball. Overall, would recommend this place if you want good shanghainese food and eat a lot on a budget!
Came here to try their shrimp crab meat noodle and pork & crab soup dumplings. Generous servings of crab meat sauce over the noodle ensures that each bite you take adequately provides a satisfying taste of the crab meat. Broth inside the soup dumplings is plenty and delicious. Will definitely be back next time to try other items on their menu. Also liked their jasmine tea which was very fragrant.
PanGu Dry Pot
Food tasted good, but I ordered two meals and only received one! Called the restaurant back before closing time and got no answer. Was there a one for the price of two "special deal" that I wasn't aware of? EDIT: Managed to get in touch with the restaurant the next day and they got me the meal that I was owed.
LXL Chinese BBQ 铁板鱿鱼
They have the best-fried skewers! Highly recommend the beef skewers. The service there is wonderful and the atmosphere is people busy putting the skewers on top of the fire.
They have the best fried skewers! Highly recommend the breaded chicken skewers. Been going for years and always make a stop here whenever I'm in flushing They're really fast so there's almost never a line which is nice
Sheng Mao Chinese&Japanese Glatt Kosher Restaurnat
We just had the unfortunate experience of dining at this same called Chinese restaurant, it was a disaster from start to finish. The so-called service was practically nonexistent - the waiter made it seem like we were bothering him just by being there. The tablecloth was a flimsy, tiny piece of pink plastic that even a dollar store wouldn't sell. The only authentic Chinese presence in the entire establishment seemed to be the poorly drawn people on the walls. We had to ask for plates and utensils, and when they finally arrived, they gave us plastic forks and spoons. Plastic utensils at a sit down restaurant! We had to serve ourselves with napkins, straws, and soda. As for the food, Everything was cold, tasteless, and of incredibly poor quality. The chicken and broccoli was fake it didn't even resemble real chicken. No water or tea was served. To add insult to injury, when we requested the bill, we were given a summary bill. Upon insisting on seeing the details, we discovered that they had sneakily added a 18% service fee twice, resulting in a whopping 36% service charge. It's truly baffling how anyone could leave positive reviews for this establishment. Take my advice and stay away from this place. It's a mystery to me how this place is still in business.
Avoid this place at all costs—there are far better options to eat elsewhere. From the start, things went downhill. We were handed plastic utensils for unknown reasons, but we let that slide. Regarding drinks, we were instructed to serve ourselves behind the register. As for the food, it was practically thrown onto the table. When we asked for dipping sauce, that too was carelessly tossed, with half of it spilling on the way. What upset me was the handling of the bill. When it was brought to me, I handed over my credit card, and it was taken quickly—no issue there. But when I received my receipt to sign, there was a section with four tip options (18%, 20%, 22%, or 25%). I asked the waiter for the original receipt to check if the 18% tip had already been included. He hesitated, mumbled something, and disappeared for a solid five minutes. I had to ask the person behind the register to bring me the original receipt before signing. Finally, the waiter returned with the receipt and a flimsy excuse, saying the tip had already been added and there was no need to tip again. This shady practice is unacceptable. The food was far from what it used to be, the service was practically non-existent, and this is the worst kosher restaurant we've been to in a long time. Anything in the area, of Deal and Long Branch is a better choice than this place. Just don’t even bother here in my humble opinion. I don’t normally write such reviews, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. To the owner: Unfortunately, your restaurant leaves much to be desired.
RongWang Cantonese Restaurant Inc
This store doesn't deserve 1 star, if I can give 0 stars I would. I got an order of duck feet for my family. We almost finished it when we saw a COCKROACH in the duck feet! That cockroach was stuffed in between the duck feet. There were multiple cockroaches in my order. This restaurant is a health hazard! PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU WANT COCKROACHES IN YOUR FOOD!
It wasn't what I was expecting. We came here because we watched it in one of the bloggers we followed. He may exaggerate. But the place is not as bad but on the average side. The lady who first assts us gave only one menu. I asked for another, and she gave me an attitude. I just ignore it. Considering the fact that they only have two menu. We waited for about 5 minutes and still she didn't ask us for our order so I raised my hands and called the other young man. He assisted us very well. For that, we gave him a good tip. We ordered their yang chow fried rice, wanton soup, and dumpling. Also, their chefs special roast pork and eels. Taste okay. It's not as bad, but I can't say it's very good. Also the parking is very hard in this area. I don't think we wanted to come back again.
