Liang Pi Wang
Both Jianbing and liang pi were bad in my opinion.
We bought three lamb bao on Monday 3/9/25 and family 3 of us got diarrhea the next day badly.. My son skip the lamp bao because he doesn’t like the favorite of it and he is the only one who has no diarrhea.
JB Crispy Pancake
Ordered popcorn chicken crispy burger and received a sandwich with 3 tiny pieces of chicken on a bed of lettuce. The contents were poured into a bag to show the lack of said popcorn chicken. The audacity.

After 3 and half years, we are back in town and reserved the to make a trip to this place inside the New York food court. Shanghai 粢饭糕 is still the best and our favorite. So as the Shanghai mini wonton soup. 2021, recommended by local friends. Authentic Shanghai breakfast choices. Definitely should not miss it. Will come back again for other menu items for sure.
Very authentic homemade flavor! Authentic Shanghai flavor.
Miss Li 羊杂粉丝汤
Love this place! I get the most delicious noodles with an amazing complex broth, they have complimentary tea, and the beef is decadent. Great prices too, highly recommend
Ordered via doordash, the food was lame, Some dishes not salty enough, but some too salty. Besides, I ordered 羊雜,too salty, too much pepper, and wired bad smell. I don't know how this store can survive at Flushing
Diverse Dim Sum
This place has the best, most authentic wontons I've ever had outside of Shanghai. Both the small and large wontons are delicious. Every time I go I get the large wontons to eat and a frozen pack to go. They have a delicious lion's head meatball too. I'd go daily if I lived nearby.
Food Court located over near the Skymall - looks to be owned by the same people that run the other large food court under the New World Mall because of the same layout and tables. Food stalls all around the edges and seating in the center. A small parking lot that's free, but can be troublesome to get your car out in busy times. Lock down seating first if you arrive near lunch. It's a pain to pull around a bunch of family and dishes in your hand otherwise. Szechuan, Lan-Zhou, Taiwanese, and other selections are here - feels a little less diverse than the other food court in Flushing just out of size, but all the basics are there. They could have a better bubble tea shop, though. This place is good for take-out and they can take a bit of getting used to on the different stalls. Lots of pictures help. Fast food a la carte, and it's pretty good. Bathrooms in the back.
Ming Garden
I found this thing in my food it’s really gross this thing looks like a pill with blood. I’ll never buy here again
Found roach in my beef broccoli, absolutely disgusting. If you care about that kind of stuff don’t eat there.
Royal Queen
Royal Queen in Flushing offers an exceptional dim sum experience that stands out among many we’ve tried. The freshness of the food is remarkable, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. Navigating the extensive menu is made easy as servers wheel around carts filled with various options, allowing us to simply point and choose. Despite the language barrier, the friendly and attentive staff ensured our dining experience was seamless. We especially appreciated that there was no rush to leave after finishing our meal, allowing us to fully enjoy our time there. Royal Queen has certainly earned a spot on our list of favorite dining spots, and we look forward to returning.
On the third floor of a busy mall, it feels like a secret restaurant to get dim sum. This is a tough place to get to - you are better off taking the subway instead of driving. It looks packed, but it's fairly large so people move in and out of the restaurant. Food is pretty good, but can be better, depending on the items. Most servers understand some English, but since this is in the heart of Flushing, it can be difficult to order without a Chinese speaker with you (servers understand Mandarin and Cantonese).
Hong Kong
I am so extremely happy as I found my mei fun noodle I've been looking for. I used to (back on 2016) work near by this place and my coworkers had always ordered mei fun (thin rice noodle) from this place. As I moved job at 2018, I forgot where to get the same exact thing that I've tried from when I was working near by this chinese restaurant, I went to so many chinese restaurant around woodbridge/ edison to look for the exact thing but their mei fun noodle are so different compared to this (both the look and the taste). how I found this place again? I've never been here in person as in the past my coworkers ordered by phone and had them delivered to work. I tried to google chinese restaurant near carteret and found the singapore noodle pic on this website and give it a try to come try it in person. because from the look, it's just like what I want. the very very thin rice noodle (vermicelli). came to know that this place was the one where my friends ordered from! i'm so happy. will be back for my rice noodle again :))
Purchase bbq spareribs with vegetable fried rice. It was disgusting to find human hairs(yes more than one) on my ribs mixed in with the barbecue sauce. I believe it was the lady who was preparing the food as she was the only person in the store it seemed and she had no hair net. Will not going back to this place as service has just gone down more and more sadly.
Bento Sushi
Worst sushi I ever had it's like it's fake I always take drive to Woodbridge shoprite
Is not at this address.
LKF Cafe
Great place for Hong Kong style food. Best milk tea I have had in a cafe for awhile. Little strange they serve it in a plastic cup. Everyone speaks Cantonese in there so some might feel different in this style of restaurant. You have to be louder to get attention and be ready to order when the server is here.
A nice place for authentic Hong Kong quick bites. The prices are reasonable. Good deals for the different meal sets and afternoon tea specials they offer. The downside is that the service is extremely slow and inattentive. It took 15 minutes just to get our drinks and at least 1 hour wait to receive our food. The waiter never came to refill our water or check to see if we needed anything. Customer service is basically nonexistent. We wanted to order fries to eat as we wait because the food took so long, but no one was around to help, so we didn’t end up ordering it. The restaurant seemed a lot busier than it actually was because the service was so slow and customers have to wait longer for a free table. Otherwise, the food is good and the French toast is a must-try! If you care about efficiency and service, then this is not the place for you.
Xian Cuisines
Lamb haggis noodles with puff pasty is excellent! Banana flower makes it even better!! The lady was very nice, I will definitely return and highly recommend this shop. I wish I have had tried this before. It's so good.
I order lamb bun today, first they don’t accept my 100dollars bill I just got it from TD Bank, they said looks old, not newest one, after I got order with my card, inside of the bun has most onions not lamb, how much they charged $7.5, am I purchased for onions with that price? Hell no, I been buying stuff from them years, now it’s like they selling garbage with a nice amount of money. That’s so sad. Don’t go, waste your money.
Yu Xiang Yuan
I decided to visit this restaurant on Mother’s Day. I came around 1pm and the place was a little more than half empty. We were seated immediately and we had a party of 3 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. I ordered my go to meat dish which is a sweet pork chop dish. When I first bit into it, there was a weird sour expired meat taste. Everyone with me said the same. It just so happened that the owner came up to us at the time and asked us how the food was and we told her. She said no way and proceeded to take our tongs from our jellyfish dish and grabbed a piece of meat in front of us and ate it. Then she looked at me and said no you’re wrong, it’s just the sauce and then walked away with no solution. Now I’m stuck with a dish that’s inedible and I have to pay for it when it’s going to be trashed. I attached a photo showing how much meat was left after the owner took a piece. The rest of the staff were nice and the jellyfish was good.
This is a authentic Cantonese Style Chinese restaurant. All the of dishes are legit like how my family would make it. The ingredients are incredibly fresh - they have a giant fish tank in the back with all the seafood live and swimming around. So my lobsters and groupers was literally pulled out of the tank and cooked fresh. The prices are extremely reasonable !!! My twin lobster fried rice was ONLY $48! You can't find more authentic and affordable Chinese food in the city like this! I would highly recommend this place!
