De Islands
Their friendly and courteous staff went above and beyond in fulfilling our order. Pleasant music to listen to. Clean, spacious, and well lit.
Young cashier girl not friendly. Smiles only with the men and display nonchalant attitude towards females. Barely answers when you're speaking to her and when she does it with an attitude or done in a nonchalant way. Men to the back of cashier are very friendly and respectful though.
King Wok Chinese Restaurant
"This is my second time here, and I’m even more impressed! The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I came with my family, and we all loved it. The environment is beautiful and welcoming, with such a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff are great, making us feel like part of the family. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious food and a loving, inviting experience!" Thank you 🙏
This is my family's favorite Chinese takeout and our go-to restaurant for great food and value for over 10 years. The portions are super generous and delicious! Even though I have moved, I still come back to King Wok because their food and service are the best. The owner is so sweet and pleasant. I definitely recommend this place! My favorite is the chicken & broccoli with pork fried rice and their jumbo shrimp with lobster sauce is amazing.
Yummy Noodle House
Absolutely DELICIOUS Hong Kong style food. I went with my friends but I need to take the whole family here. Four main dishes and an appetizer amounted to just $18 per person for four people which is insane to me in New York especially. Absolutely a hidden gem!
When you're feeling down or lost or sad, come to this place. It's the perfect place for comfort food and for no-nonsense ordering. My grandma never made me any of the dishes at this restaurant, but if she did, I'd imagine it to taste like this. When I first visited, it was a rainy day and I just got a bunch of work to do because I couldn't speak up for myself and say that I already had a lot on my plate. In my little funk, I went to this place and ordered a bunch of carbs for myself; I think I ordered noodles, you tiao, and dumplings. The dumplings were so good, it's not the thick skin type; the ramen wasn't too spicy and the noodles didn't feel old, they felt fresh. The food wasn't extremely fancy but it was good :)
TiHu The Noodle House
If you're a fan of Taiwanese cuisine, tihu the noodle house is a must-visit. I tried the spicy noodle soup with stir-fried beef on top, and it was absolutely delicious. Even as a spicy food lover, the heat level was just right. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere make the dining experience even better. The owner is very welcoming.Overall, it's a great spot for authentic Taiwanese flavors!
Disappointing Experience at Taiwanese Cuisine Restaurant I recently visited a restaurant that promoted itself as offering authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the "Braised Beef Noodle" and "Salt & Pepper Chicken." The braised beef noodle was particularly disappointing. It lacked authenticity and flavor, with a bland taste and only five thin pieces of beef that seemed to have been sitting in the refrigerator or freezer for a while. The beef lacked the fresh taste I was hoping for and had a freezer-burnt flavor instead. The salt and pepper chicken was another letdown. It lacked seasoning entirely, forcing me to add salt and pepper myself at home. Despite the presence of basil, there was no noticeable basil flavor or aroma in the chicken. Additionally, the flour coating was crispy but soggy, likely due to an incorrect frying ratio. The restaurant's interior decoration is warm and inviting. However, the service left much to be desired. The front lady was unfriendly and had a poker face, which did not contribute positively to the dining experience. Additionally, it seems the owner does monitor reviews but does not update the menu on Google Maps. I noticed that the first review was posted 9-10 months ago, and since then, many dishes have been added or removed without any updates online. This lack of transparency makes it challenging for customers to know what to expect. Overall, this restaurant did not live up to its claim of serving authentic Taiwanese cuisine. My experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it to others seeking genuine Taiwanese flavors.
Hops Kitchen
I really like Chinese food, but the person who delivers the food and the person who answers the phone are really rude. I wish they didn't do business like this. And above all, the customer comes first. This place is very rude and I will never order from here again. Note I have been ordering from here for a long time and will tell everyone I know.
I ordered from here everyday for the past week. I always order fried chicken crispy & a couple shrimp rolls. Usually the fried chicken is good & the shrimp rolls are good but a little greasy at times. Well today i wanted to order something different so i ordered orange chicken. It was Disgusting, HARD & OLD! When i first bit into the orange chicken it was hard as a rock i had to spit it out. Not only that it tasted very very old. The sauce was so nasty and old tasting i couldn't eat it if i tried. Also not sure if its even chicken looked like the cut the chicken pieces or (whatever meat it is) in half. Doesnt look like chicken & didn't taste like chicken . Please be careful when ordering from here. Unfortunately they lost a loyal customer smh.
China Gourmet
At first I came here two years ago very good food but chicken was over fried then I came here again and the chicken is pale orange not even red like usual general tso and it tasted terrible like dog food. I don’t know if there’s new management but this food place needs to be investigated.
Amazing food and can't service I called in and it was ready in 12
Best Wok
I ordered 2 house special fry rice an I requested no pork because we don’t eat it or never it before I never know that rice bowl restaurant will do this at all my skin broke out immediately itching an redness
Please don’t spend your money here. Although they are the only Chinese food in the area that delivers lol…and the food is decent.. The workers at this establishment are sooo disrespectful, on many occasions. Please do as they request and “Take your money elsewhere”
