Great Wall Chinese Kitchen
We ordered food for delivery the food was ordered at 623 pm today the delivery person got here at 657 pm we ordered white meat general tso’s chicken. When we opened it the chicken so hard we couldn’t bite it we called at715 pm and was told that we took to long to eat it that’s why it was hard then the lady hung up the phone on us I have the video on the ring app from the time the gentlemen got here with the food we will never order from them again they have very rude customer service
Website and ability to order online is nice, went smoothly. Shrimp toast was burnt to black. Found two pieces of some type of plastic in a Chinese Donut. The sauce of the honey crispy “chicken” was good but it was all breading and no meat. I tried to dig to find meatier pieces but it really was just tasty fried and sauced bread. House sauces were OK and 25 cents each additional.
Peking Chinese & Japanese Food
Best Chinese Food! I’ve been coming back and have tried many other places from Port Jeff-Patchogue. This one is by far my favorite. They are family run & They listen to your requests. They don’t skimp you on sauce or food. Their boneless spareribs are AMAZING. Chicken and Broccoli, has EDIBLE chicken that won’t gross you out. Their sesame chicken delicious and it’s not orange:). Soup broth is yummy and flavorful ! And their egg rolls aren’t filled with random , uncooked veggies. Everything is cooked thoroughly and great! Also they offer 5% off for cash payments which always feels good. I moved but I still come back to grab some of this food! #YUM
The food was good. The fried rice was my least favorite. I loved chicken with broccoli. The place is take out but has eat in potential. They have lots of restaurant supplies in big cardboard boxes in eating area, which may steer most from sitting in to eat. Maybe if they have a partition between dusty boxes with supplies and the tables laid out close to them. Back to food, eggdrop soup was good. I will try other foods if my stomach is free from negative feedback. Cash payment discount.
China East
I didn’t eat in the restaurant bc I’m handicap.I ordered my meal. I spent $40 on the worst food in a long long time. The shrimp was beginning to go bad! You know how you can tell, it gets mushy! It wasn’t over cooked bc shrimp gets tough when it’s overcooked. There was 1 shrimp in the shrimp egg foo young! The ribs where disgusting for $10.00 I got 4 small ribs that looked like someone had run over them with a truck & 1 piece made me sick to look at bc the bone was exposed & looked rancid 🤢 Even the shrimp fried rice wasn’t fresh . I used to Order from them a lot a while back and I stopped because of this. I will not order them again. I gave him second chance after all these years. Too much money for me to waste living on disability. So much for giving myself a treat!
Will never order from this place again. Bland, tasteless, forgot food. General Taos: bland and tasteless. Beef with oyster sauce: no taste. Chicken noodle soup: no taste. Chicken teriyaki sticks: dry. We spent about 60.00. Waste of money. And our dinner was ruined.
King House
Sorry but this place is REALLY bad.. I try to leave mostly positive reviews, but this doesn't deserve it. Even the soup, the most basic item every Chinese restaurant should have, absolutely horrible. Wonton was like plain chicken broth with pasta, no taste no flavor, no pork, no scallions, bare minimum. The roast pork egg roll should be called a vegetable roll. The pork inside was non-existent. Don't even get me started on the actual dishes. So many better options in the area. This place needs to totally revamp or give it up, because this is a disgrace to Chinese food.
Very good food. Had the General Tai (dark meat) chicken to stay. Large portion more chicken pieces then rice. Chinese restaurants need to stop cheaping out and give bigger size plastic forks
Panda House
Decided to come here after getting groceries, and some of the food is just amazing! The eggplant with garlic sauce, chicken wings, and orange chicken was very tasty, good price for good food, our family will be back!😁
Great food! And they usually include free deep fried donuts. But aren't they called Uncle Ray's?
Ming Kong Kitchen
Tried for the first time while in the area today and enjoyed my meal. The chicken, roast pork fried rice, chicken noodle soup, and egg roll were all great. Not the best Chinese food I've ever had, but definitely tasty and well worth the price for the portion size. Plenty of pork in the fried rice and lots of chicken in the lunch dish. Whomever took my call was very friendly, as was who checked me out when picking up. Will return, thank you!
We’ve recently discovered this restaurant. The General Tso’s shrimp was a bit pricey but excellent. The shrimp in black bean sauce and vegetable noodles were not good. Also it’s best to go there during daylight hours. The strip mall is totally abandoned and eerie at night. I would recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent.
Alfredo's Pizzeria & Restaurant
Only pizza place in Ridge. Their pizza is okay- sometimes the crust can taste like cardboard. However all of there dishes other than pizza are so tasty. Their homemade salad dressing is an absolute delight. I buy it by the bottle because it is just that good.
Thank you again for catering my daughter’s baptism. Everything was beyond excellent! All of our guests raved about the food, especially the Italian hero saying it was one of the best they have ever had. We will use for you every event we have!
AYCE Mongolian Grill
Sometimes trying out new places is not fun. The minute we walked in we knew it wouldn’t go as planned, although we were very excited to try this place out by taking out my boyfriend’s aunt from out of town. The minute we walked in I almost tripped because the floors were so sticky. Most veggies at the salad bar and for the bowl were moldy . My boyfriend flagged down our waitress and she only removed moldy tomatoes but not the carrots celery or eggplant that were beyond expired. We stayed because we traveled about 40 minutes just to try out a new restaurant. We were highly disappointed and will not be coming back, no wonder the place was completely empty.
What a unique experience on Long Island! The Experience: 1. Pick your proteins, veggies, noodles, sauces... 2. Bring the raw items and sauce to the cooking station... 3. Watch the cook stir fry your creation in seconds! For a small upcharge, you can add seafood. There are delicious appetizers and desserts as well (shout out to the UNPASSABLE items: Spinach Rangoons and S'mores Crepes, WOAH!) Can't forget the cocktails or milkshakes! Ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted great, the rice was hard but it happens, everything else was perfection. Staff: Staff is super friendly, and they all do an awesome job. The business was opened by the same people over at Meltology. *Please tip! We made sure to give a tip to the stir fry cook in addition to our waitress.... everyone works so hard to make sure there's a great experience for all! Seating: There is indoor/outdoor seating and plenty of room at that. I do enjoy the comfortable booths that felt kind of separated from everything around you. Btw, they do have tvs, so if there's a game on, I'm assuming that's what they are there for (caught them while taking pics of the large space). Before I forget! Tons of parking (this is a large shopping center).
Japanese Asian Cuisine
That is not a Japanese restaurant. It's far far from it. It's run by Chinese nationals essentially for Chinese takeout but has 7eleven type sushi for us to order. Do not dine in, the service is non existent. I can't believe there used to be a great Japanese restaurant here before this lot took over. If you crave Chinese just drive a bit more on 25 to middle island. There's a hole in the wall Chinese take out place on a strip mall that's better than this abomination
Great food love the decor and service. Just don't shame the seniors and others who simply cannot use chop sticks 😊
The Halal Hut Centereach
We enjoy Halal, so we decided to try this place tonight. Walked in to a clean, small store front with a handful of tables to stay and eat. The drink refrigerator in the corner provides limited choices of soda, diet, and water, and I believe iced tea. They also have fruit punch and lemonade on tap. We were quickly greeted and served by a very friendly and helpful employee at the counter. My husband ordered a 5 piece chicken with fries. Chicken pieces were small, but he said one of the best Halal fried chicken he has had. I ordered the protein over rice. I was looking forward to trying the cod and was advised they no longer serve that. Disappointed, I settled for the gyro (lamb) meat. I'm very basic, so I only topped it with peppers, onions, and hummus, no sauce. While very flavorful, it was warm to cold. The rice was also very flavorful. The hummus was creamy and fresh and had a kick of pepper to it. Next time, I'd like to try the chicken as well as the shrimp. We will absolutely return.
I had an amazing dining experience, thanks to both the delicious food and outstanding hospitality. The dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Rizwan, made the evening truly memorable with his attentive and friendly service. He was knowledgeable, offered great recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed. Excellent food and top-notch hospitality—highly recommended!
Umami Sushi & Bar
I mean the picture speaks for itself. Fake Wasabi and old dry ginger Miso soup was sour and clearly very old We did the buffet. The sushi was just not good, everything was honestly barely edible. Felt bamboozled and would never go again. Was not worth the price at all
Good food. Service is really good too, waiters are really friendly and attentive, i see people complaining they can't understand the waiters, its not true unless you have some personal issues.... Love the crazy roll. I was here years ago and remember loving it then and again years later i have a good impression of the sushi. The only thing that bothers me is how dark the restaurant is, kind of feels old, I suggest to lighten it up a bit to create better atmosphere.
Uncle Ray's Kitchen
Only have a big problem with them taking out their own tip. I gave him a 20 food was 950. He gave me back eight dollars so to me he took his own tip so I will never go back to the restaurant again. I don’t trust it.
General tsos was crispy and fresh and delicious, crab Rangoon and Shanghai spring rolls were probably the best I've had (lots of places don't cook them right), scallion pancakes were super hot and fresh delicious also. But the beef fried rice wasn't great, beef was grey, unappetizing. I'm giving it 5 stars total because everything else was amazing and it overpowers the bad rice. Best Chinese restaurant in Suffolk county!
