Panda Garden
I picked up some food here few days ago was told it was great! Every thing was very good but why would anybody put fake snow grab legs and carrots in shrimp / Lobster sauce ? That ruined my meal ! The ribs were awesome, Veg soup was great!
Not sure where these reviews come from but my first time and last time ordering from this place. Walked in to pick up my order and one of the cooks was handling the flour dough with no gloves. I am sorry when you are serving the general public cleanliness should be the top priority. I do not care if his hands were/are clean that is just gross. Luckily I did not order dumplings or anything made with flour.
New Peking Kitchen
I have to say in our search to find the perfect Chinese food we accidentally stumbled upon the worst we ever had. The sweet and sour sauce was so thick it wouldn't stick to the undercooked crab Rangoons with the soggy centers. The soup looked and smelled as though they cleaned off all the scraps from the counters for the night, put them in a plastic container and poured some microwaved toilet water over the top to let all the flavors marinate on the car ride home. The roast pork was swimming in a thick sauce that was reminiscent of the brown gravy the lunch lady would slop on top of your mashed potatoes while standing on the school lunch line. While the general tsos was spicy, the chicken was soggy and bloated like the a body just pulled from the east river and was lathered in that same gravy the lunch lady coughed up a lung in. The fried dumplings tasted like food poisoning. The eggrolls were okay, a little small but the only edible part of the meal. I know this may seem like a wild exaggeration but it really was the worst chinese food I have ever had, so terrible it prompted me to waste my time writing my first review ever. If you decide to try this food, don't say I didn't warn you when you have your head buried in your toilet a 4 am wondering if you ordered the egg foo young with brown gravy sauce.
Delicious food, generous portions and reasonable prices! We just finished our dinner and everyone is full and happy. Crispy egg rolls, savory fried rice and amazing sweet and sour pork…….so yummy! Thank you so much, we will be ordering again soon!!
The Mj’s kitchen
This is one of the best place for a quick bite in the neighborhood. They have a clean and a nice environment. I ordered a New York Strip Steak the taste was amazing, the steak was cooked nicely with the right temperature since I got medium cooked, the inside was pinkish with the right amount of sauce drizzled on top of the steak. Definitely will come again to try other dishes.
Decent on-the-go Asian fusion. The Thai crispy shrimp bento box was good, though the vegetables would taste better simply steamed, rather than in its sour concoction. My husband didn't like the teriyaki shrimp.
Lily's Chinese Food
It’s a good restaurant and probably a family owned. There was a kid who worked liked a waiter which is a bit weird. The food was really good. Somehow we noticed that the spicy chicken we ordered is a fried chicken. Rest all, foods were good with vegetarian options. One thing to note they really don’t do card split. It’s only one card policy.
Best Chinese restaurant for some distance. Authentic. Good prices. Tasty.
Wing Wah
Ordered the General Tai chicken. It has as much breading on it as chichen. Not much chicken taste mostly sauce. It's a $12 combo now, don't spare the chicken! Cocktail napkins and a kid size folk is what you get.
the place i usually get from is closed mondays, and VERY FEW places deliver in the area soo i decided to trust the ratings and doordash chinese...horrible idea. not only did i spend the EXTRA MONEY for doordash, i couldn't eat most of the food. the boneless ribs, were gross. mostly fat and rubbery. the broccoli in brown sauce lacked flavor soooo badly- the only flavor i could taste is what i would describe as tap water taste .. couldn't eat it..(my son who eats EVERYTHING wouldn’t touch it either) and the fried rice, was the worst - it tasted like it was sitting there for 6 weeks. it was so gross and OLD tasting..never again will i take a chance on a diff place based on the ratings . such a waste of money and i'm still hungry
Wild Rice
When we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted. It was nice to see a woman scrubbing down the booths with a bucket, and it just smelled clean. Me and my husband both ordered lunch combinations. My husband didn't want the egg roll and asked to substitute for a can of soda, and she wanted to charge him an additional $1.45. Odd because both were similar in price. We stayed in to eat. As our food arrived, a worker sat at the booth next to us and had this bizarre internal hacking cough the entire time. Not pleasant to listen to while we were eating. My husband had the Boneless Spare Ribs and enjoyed them very much. I was disappointed to see the fried rice was literally just that, fried rice with onions. No roast pork, no egg, nothing else. I had the beef and broccoli. The beef tasted boiled with the sauce mixed over it. Tender, but not great. The broth from the Wonton Soup was rich and excellent. The wontons (there were 2) didn't have a typical Meatball, and were more like a smear of meat with a lot of Noodle. We weren't even given Crispy wonton strips for the soup. Everything seemed to be the bare minimum in product. Overall experience, we've had better and we've had worse.
Finally found a good Chinese food place. Ordered twice both times great. Even pick up was easy and probably one of the cleanest places I seen inside
Spice workshop 椒房
Visiting this place twice in a month!! This place offers good Sichuan food which makes you come back again and again. Had their fish filet in spice sauce again and loved it 😍 Must try the fish in chili oil sauce and you can thank me later :D
This was absolutely the best Sichuan restaurant my family and I have ever eaten at. As a short recap, the food has one of the highest quality of restaurant food we’ve had and has thorough and delicious flavors and every dish, as well as distinct and matching textures. The lamb was moist, plump, and well seasoned with great garnishes and the flavors were spot on. Nice spice. The cabbage had a great cook on it and was crunchy and fresh. The fish in chili oil was so tender and succulent-you could just sense the immaculate quality of food and cooking. I want to compliment the chef. The green beans were outstanding-just crispy, well cooked, and fresh, but what really made it shine was the crumbs of garnish you see in the photo. They’re these salty, crunchy, tasty bits on the beans that bring a new spin to the dish. The soup was hot and fresh with a good amount of ingredients; a standard dish but good nonetheless. We finished all these dishes so cleanly. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t have a lot of business, which is likely because of its location. If it was located in more of a hot spot, it would thrive with such great food. The atmosphere is alright; I like that there are lamps over each table; it gives a warm feel while you eat. Not sure while this restaurant has some negative reviews; maybe some dishes are better than others, but these were fantastic! The prices are reasonable (80 something for 4 people)and service is great. The waitress was attentive and nice and the chef clearly is skilled and experienced. If we lived in the area, we’d keep coming back for sure. The food is obviously authentic-take it from a Chinese family. We recommend coming in 100%!
Halal Lemongrass Express
Had the menu for some time and finally was able to try it. Ordered a few meals for pickup and the food was ready just about at our pickup time albeit give or take a few minutes. We ordered: Chicken Pad Thai, Singapore Mei Fun, Ho Fun with Chicken, and Chicken Pad See Yu. The portions were generous and stuffed and piping hot, hot still even after 30 minutes of driving. The Pad Thai was slightly dry though, but still quite tasty. Think my favorite dish has to be the Singapore Mei Fun, just enough spice. Will be back again in the future!
They have really good food. I’ve been coming here for a while now and my favorite is fried rice and drunken noodles. I don’t know how they do it but it’s so tasty everytime and they make it really quick too . The portions can easily feed 2-3 people. I also like the fact that everything is halal so if you’re Muslim, there’s no limit on what you get. 10/10 really cool people.
Clay Oven
Took my aunt here for her first Indian meal and she loved it! It has a casual takeout vibe that I wasn’t expecting but the food was so flavorful and it was an even more delicious meal for the next day. Will be back to try more dishes since the menu is pretty big!
Such a great little hidden gem of a restaurant. The staff is incredibly nice, especially the lady in charge. Keep in mind that the portions are very big and you might wanna order a few at first. We ended up taking home more than we ate. Everything tasted great.
Taco Bell
Stopped by for a quick lunch break. Imagine my suprise when it took about 30 minutes to get food despite there only being 1 customer in front of me and 4 or 5 people working. Drive through cars were flying by no problem though, unbelievable and late going back to work. I get fast food isn't as fast as it used to be, but this is just ridiculous
The evening/night manager by the name of Jenny; Extremely rude & an embarrassment of presenting customer service. I have never experienced such neglect & discrimination in my life. The presentation of customer service she presents and atrocious! No customer should ever have to experience what I experienced this night! I am the only customer inside the dinning area & it was if i was invisible to her. Her approach was: "you looking for something " ... clearly I am here to place an order. After she presented that form of hello. I proceeded with confirmation of her name! Next Is better business bureau. People of that sort should never be able to provide customer service in a fast food enviorment.
Poki Poke of Selden
Ordered uber eats yesterday, ordered an hibachi kids bowl when we got it it was only a bowl of white rice, I called the restaurant and I was told “I think my manager changed the recipe” 14 dollars for a hibachi kids bowl and it was only white rice. Plus, the white rice smelled weird and stale. I wouldn’t recommend.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash four times now, and boyyyy have I had wild experiences from this place. A condensed version of each time: 1- first time I ordered food was DELICIOUS but the two customizable bowls I ordered were a little messed up (like I wanted corn and no jalapeños and my husband got jalapeños and corn in his even though the rest of the orders were fine) I let this go because it was delicious and figured it was a one time issue. 2- second time I ordered they messed up the bowls again and I ordered a Kani salad, which is crabmeat, and instead I got containers of lettuce, nothing else. Contacted the manager and he’s a doll, but it was an inconvenience to get my money back. I could have gone through DoorDash but I didn’t want them to lose out on money… 3- third time was the craziest. They gave someone else’s food to the doordasher and when I noticed the dasher decided to keep the food and disappear. The restaurant not only gave me a hard time about giving my food to a dasher, but they were expecting me to get the food for the other customer, bring it back to them, and THEN get my food. They kept talking to me about “Nick S” and “what’s going to happen with his food” and that they couldn’t afford to take the loss, but I DONT WORK FOR DOORDASH! So every time they said “Nick S” I was like can you please stop???? I don’t know this person I just want my food! At this point I had to get DoorDash involved and the restaurant refused to remake my food. DoorDash threatened them and told them they have to remake my food because it’s been sitting out for over an hour and told them it is not my responsibility as the customer to try to locate another customer’s food to bring back to the restaurant. DoorDash issued me apology credits, so again, I didn’t want to financially cause any harm to the restaurant…. 4- fourth and FINAL order. I spent an extra $20 on extra salmon and tuna and thought maybe if I paid for extra stuff I’d get a properly made bowl. Nope. My husband has graves disease and can’t have seaweed and they put that in his, with the crabmeat that was supposed to be in mine. No tuna, no extra salmon, jalapeños in both (I hate them….) and when I called they told me “sometimes when the chef runs out of stuff he’ll put “whatever is still available” in the bowls. What if people have allergies? I can’t believe this is okay? I paid $76 for fully packed bowls full of fish and got half filled bowls with mostly white rice, corn, edamame, OH and the avocado I paid extra for also wasn’t in one of them. Anyway, aside from the fact they have also given me stale rice, I expressed my sadness over how much I love this restaurants food but unfortunately this was the last straw. The guy on the phone was nice but they need to fire this chef. At this point I got a full refund from DoorDash and I will never order from this restaurant again. Steer clear if you have specific food allergies etc…. Because they don’t care. They’ll give you “whatever is available” instead of what you ask for.
No. 1
Fast a reasonably priced take out. Tastes good, always fresh, the people are nice and don’t scream 1 dollar extra whenever u ask for something
We used to buy from this restaurant a lot. Lately, though, their food has been lacking. Just tonight I had a hankering for either coconut shrimp or coconut chicken. Thinking I would end up with cooked tails on my shrimp (past experience) I decided to order the chicken. Needless to say, the sauce tasted great. Otherwise, I can't tell you how the chicken was, as there were almost NO pieces of chicken in the fried breading. There were tiny pieces that were dried to "stringy" things, and 2 ir 3 moist bites, but other than those, there was nothing but fried, very hard, crunchy breading pieces. Such a huge disappointment. After all of the business we've given them, seems, sadly, it's time to find a new Chinese restaurant. This was the last straw (or dried, stringy chicken, as it were) for paying a bit of money for non-enjoyable food!
