Lee Chen Chinese Cuisine
On a business trip to Andover and was craving some Chinese, so I gave Lee Chen's a try bybmy hotel and was not disappointed! It's got less oil and MSG than some of my favorite Chinese, so the flavors don't punch as hard, but it definitely doesn't sit as heavy in your gut. Overall, very good Chinese, that doesn't leave you feeling guilty.
I must say that the quality of food is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised. My waiter was exceptional and he was kind enough to make something off menu for me (kung pao chicken). This place is an absolute gem in Andover.
China Wok
Best Chinese food in North Andover! They give you a tremendous amount, great value, solid quality. Another notable characteristic is the consistency, you can expect the same quality every single time. Seems to be a small family run place. The young children are always at the business. Very efficient in their timing, never have to wait on the food when we go pick it up. Supporting a local business that gives great food and has tremendous amount of value for your money, no-brainer here. We will always come back.
The food has really gone down hill. I’m not sure what happened. The rice tastes old and lo mein has way too much oil.
Peking Garden
This place lacks traditional Chinese food flavor the most in the area. It taste too Hispanic oriented. I would call this a Hispanic fusion Chinese food restaurant because it it lacks traditional Chinese food flavor. The general Gao chicken taste way too sweet and taste like apple pie and turns me off it's like a dessert. Feels like a place taking a crack at making American Chinese food and lacks the flavor , perhaps don't know the secret either.
Over $30 food was horrible, low mien wasn’t even cooked through & chicken teriyaki was burnt pieces put on to a stick with only giving 2 also egg rolls was dark inside like the egg rolls have been recooked few times Don’t waste your time ordering here then when I call they don’t pick up.
China Blossom
The food was Amazing. i’m so happy that they had plain lo-mein at the buffet instead of regular lo-mein. plain lomein should always be there. However the chicken finger could have used improvement the chicken was hard and should have been more soft. also the lunch buffet should have had egg rolls instead of spring rolls. but in the end the food was amazing and the plain lo-mein is the best.
Nice clean big place drinks were good but I wanted to order a combination plates and they only have them for lunch for dinner it’s either 29.99 buffet or seperate things I ended up just having my drink and leaving I was told if I sat at the bar I could order combination plate which made no sense
Aozora
I rarely eat Japanese food, but I went because my girlfriend frequents this restaurant. I am glad I did go! There were plenty of choices for me as a vegan. And everyone else enjoyed the sushi. Everything was brought to the table beautifully prepared and tasty! Our server was attentive to our needs and patiently explained everything to me as I was new to the experience. I will definitely be going back to try other dishes!
This place was amazing! Got seated right away and felt very cared for. My water glass was always full which I really appreciated. The atmosphere of the place was wonderful! Decorated very nicely for the holidays. And of course the food was incredible! Got a couple of sushi rolls, the salmon spring rolls, edamame and mochi ice cream for dessert. Loved it all, would highly recommend this place!
China Star
Ordered the poo poo player for 2 and large Shrimp fried rice. Everything was fresh, hot and good. Almost no grizzle on the boneless spare ribs. The beef teriyaki was thick pieces of meat and cooked well. Nothing was greasy. And the rice was fresh. When I order Chinese food I order from here and for the first time it was all on point.
Pros: Ordered pick up and food was ready when we arrived. Serving size was enough for two. Cons: The fried rice was just rice and some bits of pork belly. Nothing else. Super plain. The food wasn’t really hot and the pieces of pork were colder than the rice. The chicken was so bland. Almost as if they just baked the wings unseasoned. Overall it was an underwhelming experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Pandan Asian Cuisine
Amazing Food wow Wife has been looking for a good Filipino Food Restaurant and she love this place and she is picky on her Filipino food. Try this place you will love it!
The food is good. I just don't prefer the sisig here. I think it's not sisig, it's more like dinakdakan because it has a ginger. But if you like that version, you might like it. The drinks are also good. Overall, the place is nice.

I really enjoy coming to this place. Nice atmosphere, and the food is great. 3 tables, and a men's and women's restroom for customers. I hope they have great success in the future, as they have left a positive impact on me!
Food was just fine. I especially liked the Crab Rangoon. It's a typical chinese-food restaurant that emphasizes takeout and delivery so the atmosphere was as expected if dining in.
East Gate Chinese and Japanese Restaurant
They are always so welcoming and quick, this is our go to ACYE sushi place 😋 and it’s BYOB too! I love that they also have training chopsticks for kids!
9/22/24 Sunday dinner... Sushi and more!! Still great, still BYO. 4/16/23 back for more... Still great (everything). FYI there is a great wine & beer store just down the road (West) for your BYO.... An easy 5 minute walk. 11/26/22 been back several times but I've slacked off with my updates here. Well, things are still really good. Sushi is fresh and service still really good. I used a thermos to bring in my hot saké (worked great). Summer 2019: We've been coming here for a few years. BYO is such a bonus :) nice staff and usually quick service. The food has been fresh and we love the all you can eat option. (Really, that is the main reason to come here). At 3p on a Sunday... Everyone else has gone and we are the only ones here ..... So nice and quiet. Wish they had yellowtail on the sashimi portion of the AYCE menu... But they have it on the sushi part... The BBQ squid is nice as is the shumai. My GF loves it here. Ok, it's an hour later and we are still here... Eating... We are up to 5 tiger rolls!! Plus all kinds of other stuff... Lol .. so good. We are getting ice cream too- of course traffic is bad going back into NYC... We may eat more ;)
Good Fortune Restaurant
Long overdue. Almost reticent to write this review, as I’d like to keep this place as a secret for myself. As far as “Americanized “ chinese food this is the absolute best. The two young ladies that (i guess are part owners) are personable and caring . Probably my 15-20th time here in the past 3-4 years and it’s just plain good. I love Family’s bar scene, however their food doesn’t touch Good Fortune. As well they’ve got 2 great bartenders! Donny will tell you a tale while making you a great scorpion 🦂 bowl!!! Thank you !!!
Great food. Good cooks reasonable prices. Awesome noodles!
Healthy Food Asian Cuisine
Food is delicious and fresh. We order takeout regularly and I’ve been meaning to review for a while. A great spot to have nearby. Service is impeccable.
First time. Generally disappointed. 1. Pricing: for what we got there are a lot of extras. Picked it up because there's a delivery charge. Which goes to the driver so be sure to subtract from the tip. $3 extra for shrimp fried rice instead of fried rice. 2. Quality: clean food but needs to be better prepared. Pad thai was not pad thai just a spicier Asian noodle with very little chicken. Wings had cracked bones. Either leave the wing as whole or cut them up without cracking bones. While I appreciate, what seemed like non frozen, for the price I expected better quality food.
Lucky Corner
everything was greatly wrapped and all, but the food.... I ordered a shrimp and Lobster Sauce and some other stuff, but this lobster sauce was expired. From smell to taste. LIKE. EVERYTHING tasted sour and expired. gave a terrible stomach ache after, felt a bit like food poisoning. You guys have got to check the food quality first before sending it out, come on guys. I'm glad we don't die anymore from diarrhea.
We had food for take out and brought it home. It was delicious! Crab rangoons are just like the ones I have been searching for that o had when I was a kid. Creamy and light crab, crispy and perfectly well done. This was our 1st time trying this place and we will definitely order again.
