Sizzling Hut
Ordered carry out this evening, and I am impressed. Their beef fried rice was probably the best I've ever had. The beef was tender and flavorful and the rice was perfect. Portion size was nice as well. My husband said the pork egg rolls were the best he's ever had also. We will be eating here again!
Very nice people working here. The dining area is still closed due to the pandemic, but they are very quick for take-out orders. I bet I only waited 5-7 minutes. The lunch special prices are as good as it gets when it comes to value for money. We gave barely twenty dollars for two entrees, dumplings, and three egg rolls! This is certainly a solid option for lunch.
Mai Tai's
Best sushi in leominster (sweet heart roll is my favorite) mai tais are always great. Service is always wonderful.
Pretty disappointed to say the least. Two of us were here for lunch last week. We were the only people not seated at the bar and the service was very slow. Food was average but priced well above average. Their bar seems to be carrying the business. There are most assuredly better options for Asian food in the Twin Cities area
Harmony
Me and my gf stopped by while in Muncy and gave it try. Pretty disappointed as we both love Chinese but this was not anything special. The pork fried rice was extremely bland and was essentially brown rice with absolutely no flavor. General tso's wasn't horrible but also very bland. My gf got chicken and broccoli and it was extremely watery. Probably wouldn't eat it again. Also someone left a review saying they dined in 3 weeks ago as this was posted and it's takeout only.
I had an amazing dining experience at Harmony! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and our order was always right! I highly recomrecommend getting food from there. Overall, I'm so impressed with Harmony and can't wait to come back.
No. 1 China
Rode my board there, and the lady stapled by box together so it didn't spill in my bag. A generous kind human. Food is phenomenal. 10 out of 10. Got a massive box of Chicken Lo Mein for 11 bucks, y'all. The hot sauce packets they gave me were also delicious. Got general tsos the first time. It was excellent
Finally found a Chinese restaurant that the food was constant and tasty the Fred chicken was Fred to perfection at night it’s a little dark in a weird location so be careful they serve through a window that’s how I know the food was going to be on point customer service was fast and efficient my new favorite place to go that remind me our my hometown definitely worth the price
Goldstar Chinese Restaurant
Good food good customer service easy to get in and out of I would highly recommend them
They always get my order correct and the food is worth more than what I pay ..great place
Lotus Palace Restaurant
After months of waiting and a short 40 min drive, Lotus Palace of Adrian is finally open. They're only taking takeout orders temporarily, and as usual you will not be disappointed. Don't forget to tip to this local family business and their employees.
The noodles are hard and the food literally looks fake. Has zero flavor and when demanded a refund the manager caught an attitude.
Chans Chinese Food
Thus is the best drive through Chinese food place I've ever known. Food is always hot and fresh and the variety is exceptional. My favorite place for comfort food 😋
Food was nasty as hell, chicken wings were dry and bland. Pepper steak was more Peppers and onions that anything and shrimp fried rice was tasty and tasteless. Will never ever ever eat here again. Go out if business please already!! I don't know why people say Chinese restaurants make the best chicken wings, maybe in other cities and states the do..... But not in Jacksonville Florida, these Chinese restaurants are---STRAIGHT UP GARBAGE !!!
Hop Shing
Egg rolls were crunchy and fresh. Would've liked more pork & onion in the pork fried rice. The pepper steak was tasty, best I've had here in Jacksonville.
I ordered the bbq rib combination plate and it was sorry. The ribs were chewy and covered in a really heavy sweet sauce and the fried rice was tasteless. I wondered if I had gotten Chinese, as the food was devoid of standard asian flavors. The pork fried rice had very little pork and tasted like wet instant grains. This is the worst Chinese food I've had in Jacksonville, and I will never darken their door again. Awful!
Oriental Garden
I'll give this spot props for having some of the best Egg Fu Yung I've had anywhere. The Sesame Chicken was also good. The Wor Wonton Soup was OK but the Lo Mein was clearly made with spaghetti noodles & that hit wrong for us. All that being said, they won us over with the Egg Fu Yung and I'd go back just for that. It's always a crap-shoot ordering Asian food in tiny towns out in the sticks. The old joke is that large cities have individual restaurants for each different Asian country's food but in the sticks, they have them all at one place and that place might be known colloquially as the "Diarrhea Dragon". We rolled the dice on this one and won. It certainly looked iffy but the service was fast and friendly and the locals seemed to be enjoying it. There was also a steady stream of people rolling through to get takeout, which usually bodes well. We'll be by again sometime when we're traveling between Las Vegas & SLC!
This place has really good food, the owners are nice and always attentive, and the food is served quickly. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend a stop to this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
Number One Chinese Restaurant
We had a lunch date here and the service was exceptional! The waitress was friendly, helpful, efficient. We were able to be seated quickly and placed our meal orders. Unfortunately since the shutdown a few years ago, this restaurant is better for takeout rather than dine-in. However, we were able to dine-in and had a positive experience. Would order food for take-out again. The fried rice was good, but lacked flavor (bland without soy sauce). I also ordered the cashew chicken dish; the texture of the chicken was "chewy" but had good flavor.
Alright, everyone in the tri-cities does not know chinese food. I've been all over the Midwest for work and these spots around here are not it. I've been to EVERY chinese spot and buffet.. so please read this review. This place is by far the BEST chinese in the tri cities that I've found. Prices are decent. We've had crab cheese, lo mein, general tso chicken, sez. Chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, wanton soup, steamed dumplings. Soup actually had noodles and was hot and broth was wonderful. Dumplings and the dip are my absolute favorite. Wontons were soooo good sweet and creamy. The chicken and food was prepared well. Nice and spicey, veggies were good. Etc. This isn't the best place I've been at on traveling but in saginaw, bay city. Midland it is THE TOP SPOT! I recommend this place over any other if you're in the area. It's only a takeout place really. A few tables are there. You can sit and wait etc.
China & Hibachi
This is supposed to be house lo mein. It barely had any meats that would make it a house lo mein. When I made contact with the manager l was disappointed with the excuses Smh 🤦♂️ They will never get my business again!!!! Very poor customer service/management. They only care about the money! I also purchased a large but the bowl was skippy!!! Only three shrimp was n my bowl unbelievable!!!
I had an incredibly disappointing and disheartening experience at this restaurant last night. I placed an order for a combination plate that included sweet-and-sour chicken and chicken fried rice, specifically requesting no onions in my husband’s portion. Unfortunately, when we received the order, it contained big chunks of onions. I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake, and they politely assured me that they would replace the rice. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, I was met with an unprofessional and confrontational attitude from the owner. Instead of handling the situation calmly, the woman at the front began yelling at me in front of her employees. I calmly told her I can’t understand what she was telling me because she was yelling, acting irate, and she continued on yelling “next time you don’t order vegetables then”. While the restaurant was initially empty, other customers began to enter as the situation escalated. Despite the fact that the kitchen was already preparing a replacement for the rice, the owner proceeded to open my husband’s plate and, shockingly, began touching and stirring the food with her bare hands. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable accepting any replacement and simply requested a refund. She refused, even though she had taken back the food I had paid for. To make matters worse, when I attempted to document the incident, she called the police and falsely claimed that I had taken the food without paying. When the officers arrived, they quickly realized the situation was not as she had described, but unfortunately, they were unable to help me recover my money, as it would require pursuing a civil case. The owner was still acting unprofessionally in front of the police officer as she continued to stir my husband’s food around with her bare fingers. This entire experience was unnecessary and deeply upsetting. I approached the situation with kindness and patience, yet I was met with hostility and dishonesty. I have never been treated so poorly by a business, and I would never want anyone else to endure such an experience. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others about the unprofessional conduct I encountered. Our family eats out frequently, trying a variety of restaurants and fast-food places. Whether the food is excellent or not, I typically choose not to leave reviews because I understand the hard work that goes into running a business, and I never want to tarnish someone’s reputation. However, after the experience I had at this restaurant last night, I feel compelled to share what happened. It was truly unacceptable, and I believe others should be aware of the way I was treated.
China Town
Since when does General Tso's chicken taste like ketchup I honestly think if they would freshen up their food and make it fresh I spent $40 on garbage that I will never eat Mongolian beef and broccoli I didn't even get no broccoli since when is it spicy and the peas in my pork fried rice was hard it shouldn't have been so Bland and old with the business that they had
There are a couple of tables, but they're really set up mostly for to-go orders. The food was quite good and took a little while because they prepared it while I waited. The service was fast and accurate. The portions were quite large. My only complaint was that the fortune cookies were stale, but most people don't eat them anyway, I guess. I will definitely order from there again.
