Golden Sun Chinese Restaurant
Takeout Always a great place for Chinese comfort food. Service is always fast and friendly. The food is fresh and has a great price point. Items Ordered: -2 Large Egg Drop Soups -2 Vegetable Egg Rolls -Sesame Tofu -2 French Fries Pros: 1. Sesame Tofu is not only yummy but the tofu is super firm. The portion size is generous, comes w/ rice, and very well priced. 2. Egg rolls were perfectly crispy. Very large and stuffed with good flavor. 3. Egg Drop Soup is tasty and also well priced. 4. Crispy noodles that come with the egg drop soup are airy with great crunch. 5. Received a free order of wontons w/ my order. 6. One order of fries is enough for sharing. 7. The entire order was $29 and there is more than enough two people. Definitely have leftovers
I always order delivery. Delicious food. Sometimes they include a generous free sample! Wonderful boneless chicken, boneless spare ribs and crab Rangoon!
Baan Khun Restaurant
Great Thai restaurant, delicious food, kind service, some of the best Pad Thai! The price seems fair for a restaurant in redbank. Good location, right in the heart of downtown redbank. Outdoor dining is a nice touch especially during the pandemic. I highly recommend!
Had lunch with family, salmon entree was no good at first bite, we can tell right away that the salmon was spoiled and tastes very fishy. Ended up ordering vegetable fried rice to be on the safe side. The manager or owner or whoever he was with the negative energy didn’t even bother to show his concern. He wasn’t friendly at all, more of a matter of fact attitude. The only good thing was our Thai Ice Tea. We also ordered chicken fried rice which was a safe dish for the kids. The managers negative energy made the atmosphere not so friendly. His customer service was trash!!! But don’t worry about it because that was a one and done visit. I promise you I’ve eaten at great Thai restaurants and the prices matched the great food and service. Noooooope not this one so yeah I’m putting them on BLAST. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
Super Golden
I have ordered delivery take out now 2x - Absolutely AWESOME! Food is excellent, online ordering is fast and easy - FOOD DELIVERED PROMPTLY - SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS PLACE! Highest recommendation - great egg rolls, fried rice and dumplings! Mu Shu PORK outstanding!
I spent $30 dollars on a Snapple, a soup and a “Large” order of chicken and broccoli. You tell me if I’m wrong but I received a MEDIUM lunch size container of chicken&broccoli, a small PINT of rice instead of a quart of rice. Which they serve it with the pint size bc it matches the small size of their large, that they try to pass off. Sauces and broth are okay, not really salty to be nice. Chicken was dry and not appealing. Broccoli was alright but small pieces and not much in it, sadly… Wonton soup was enjoyable, had a little fat in one wonton, whatever. Really though 2 stars and leaving a review if they didn’t cheap out even on the RICE. Put some love in the food please. Not worth your buck.
Hong Kong
The boss is very nice, but the pepper is reluctant to give it to the kale, which needs extra money. It seems that it is not cleaned and it is full of sand.
Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Long Branch. Still wish the sweet and sour sauce was thicker with chunks of fruit and carrots like it's traditionally made. There's no better Chinese restaurant in the area. Highly recommended!
Ming Ying Chinese Restaurant
Good food! The Thai salad was spicy and refreshing just as I like it. The General Tso was great as well and they made as we suggested- not spicy for my daughter. Great delivery from door dash. They were faster than time suggested and delivered to our beach club. Would order from here again.
One of the best prepared Chinese food I ever had. The owner is very friendly. Was there to do food photography for UberEats.
Jade Garden
Quick Easy Authentic Food- My go to is sesame chicken . fried rice - next to Snow White on Broadway. Takeout
I ordered one spring roll. I got two spring rolls. I didn't realize until after I left but thought it was high price for one spring roll. Also as I was eating it , I thought it tasted funny. Looked at it and had chicken in it. Very sad because I am a vegetarian. I will never come here again as long as I live.
The Blonde Shallot
this establishment relies on Instacart shoppers for delivering their kitchen produce, but it might be worth considering how they treat their delivery drivers. They do not tip and but always order bulky items. It would be great if they acknowledged the hard work of these individuals, especially when it comes to delivering heavy items.
i usually love getting lunch from here but i just bit into a very raw looking bone in the cod salad i picked up today. this is obviously not safe for anyone to consume.
Siam Paradise
I really enjoyed my experiences here. The food came out quickly and I’ve been here twice now. I got the Pad Thai the first time and the Curry Fried Rice the next. I’ve also had the Thai Coffee and Thai Iced Tea. Everything tasted great and the ingredients tasted fresh. There are no lunch specials, but if you want quality it’s worth the trip! The restaurant is Family run and the owners sister (who served me) was very kind to me.
Definitely one of the best Tomyum Soup I’ve had. Tomyum with shrimp! The fried rice and chicken were soo good too!
Kunya Siam Thai Restaurant
Stopped here for lunch! I had the Thai salad. It was very good. I had it with chili lime dressing. At first I couldn’t taste the chili so I asked for the chili powder. It tasted better with the chili powder. I would have liked the carrots to be sliced other than that the salad was fresh and perfect for lunch. I ordered a vegetable roll to go for later. I would recommend this place.
The owner is Thai so the flavor is definitely authentic. We’ve been here on numerous occasions, this time we ordered duck curry, chicken kebabs, fish, pad Thai with shrimp and Thai ice tea. Staff is attentive as always and provided us with another pleasant dining experience.
Sono Sushi
Well I finally went. And I needed time to get my thoughts in order… Ultimately, it never reached the pinnacle that, in my mind, OSHO had both in personal service, quality of fish, and simplicity of technique and sushi focus. I was first struck when we arrived by how clean and friendly it was, and how over half of the bustle was takeout… We started with an abundance of appetizers to get a sense of the atmosphere… The Salmon Tataki was superb. Perfectly sliced and with just the right amount of sauce. This was perhaps the star of the night. We also had the Gyoza… Again very nice but just a bit more spice would have been nice. I enjoyed the umami, but missed that tiny bit of punch. Still worth it. The edamame were good but lacked that extra saltiness I would have expected, but that is something of a personal preference. And then came the Rock Shrimp. This was on OSHO specialty and I was very disappointed at the Sono version. While the Shrimp were perfectly cooked, they had little spice and flavor of their own. And the breading was not crispy nor flavorful. The entire dish revolved around the sauce which was lacking in punch and was over dressed. We then ordered a large amount of Sushi since we wanted to sample everything… Even though we knew there would be leftovers… And we found some dynamite rolls and some just good rolls. To the left is the Incredible Roll, then the Crawfish Roll, and to the right the Hot Crunchy Crab. Way too match Krab and not nearly enough real crab to make the Incredible Roll incredible. It was just way over done. A little Krab goes a long way. And I would have thought the Hot Crunchy Crab would have been real crab but it too was not. It had the right amount of Krab so it wasn’t overwhelming, but it was lackluster at best. Then, with trepidation we tried the Crawfish Roll. Stunning. Wonderful spicy flavor and the crawfish was clearly able to take the starring role. Second course then arrived… Middletown Roll This time it was real Crab and deliciously smoked eel. And it would have been perfect where it not for an overwhelming chunk of avocado which took over the flavor profile. Though when removed left a wonderful roll. And finally the third course… Soft Shell, New York, and Sono Delight Rolls. The Sono Delight was just that, delightful with an excellent melding of flavors. Another winner. The New York was also very good with the unique flavor of Apple and Salmon. Very good but an acquired taste. And then the Soft Shell. Sigh. Once again the avocado dwarfed every other flavor out - notice the huge hunk on the one piece… Was it overall enjoyable? Yes. Will I go back? Yes but I will be more careful with what we order… And the pricing was a tad high. All in all, I will stick with the 3 roll lunch special at Kyoto. Not as fancy, and not as focused, but the fish is fresh and the bang for the buck is much better.
Probably the best chicken teriyaki I have ever had. The sushi looked amazing and the service was fenomenal. Can’t wait to see Ann and get the chicken teriyaki
Raven & the Peach
Just had our daughters sweet 16 there. They did a fantastic job. Everything was perfect. Food was prepared excellent and timed perfectly. The entire staff took care of everything for us. We had nothing to worry about. Another great experience for us there. They really knocked it out of the park for my daughters special night.
Amazing food and great employees. The inside is very spacious and clean, I was there for a private party which the staff were all very professional and friendly. I would recommend this venue and they deserve 5 stars.
Joy House
Was taking out and got some chinese food with some of my boys and we were hungry ready for a delicious cusine, but no, we were disappointed as all 4 meals we got (lo mein, fried rice and the other orders i forgot) were just not tasting right. I mean it tasted not fully cooked and overall just didnt feel right if you know what i mean, should change the name to Sad House. Overall 1/5 Food was terrible.
Benny and his sister are Wonderful people. Not only do they have great Chinese food, but they work very helpful when my car broke down outside the restaurant Betty. Allow me to use the phone multiple times and then drove me home And back to my car. Thank you very much
