Jumbo Kitchen
I’ve been here plenty of times food always on 10. Today I went for lunch and decided to get the boneless spare ribs and mannnn those ribs were juicy thick cut and sweet. I’ll be getting them from now on!
Pure Honesty. Its very sad story. I rarely eat chinese food anymore after 1 bad experience at this place....which the 4 previous times i kept saying, lets give it 1 more try. If a chinese place messed up General Tso chicken, it shouldnt be in business. This place 3 years ago had the best....from what i have read, owners changed. The 4 previous times, the chicken was BURNT, and never actually had any chicken in them, just fried pieces of fried pieces. But i was chasing the delicious taste i once had from the best Chinese restaurant in the area and it repeatly failed me. This final time... I order the General Tso Chicken Lunch Special. the General Tso chicken contains BONES in the pieces, and then i figured okay, ill eat the pork fried rice... the pork fried rice had BONES in it. Okay ill eat the pork fried dumplings and skip the rests... the sent me VEGETABLE Steamed Dumpings and when i called to complain they just yelled at me. Now to be fair... the delivery driver was always nice, id give him 5 stars. I ordered so much i got to know him and tipped well.. I would probably eat chinese twice a week. Now i havent had chinese in over a year! Thanks for ruining my taste for chinese food Jumbo Kitchen.. Please do the world a favor and go out of business.
Golden Taste
Probably the worst general tso chicken I’ve ever had. It was so hard to chew that at one point my son had to spit it out, and the sauce was not spicy at all. It was more like a sweet tang borderline gross. The sweet and sour chicken was oily and the fried rice was sunshine yellow with no flavor. I’m giving it two stars because the wonton soup was really good.
It is beyond me how this place has an over 4 star rating. The “fried rice” was just yellow rice, tons of onions and bean sprouts. General Tso’s was so tough it was hard to chew. Cheese wonton tasted good but a little drop of cheese in a big fried dumpling. The search continues.
Chen's Asian Bistro
My husband and I went for an early dinner at Chen's. The food we had for appetizer and dinner was very good. Atmosphere was also great. Only issue was with staff..extremely unfriendly..never smiled or welcomed us when we first sat down, never came by after we got our food to see if we needed anything. When we asked for the dessert menu, she came back and grabbed the menu from us after we told her what we wanted. I would highly suggest the staff gets a lesson in how to treat the customers. We are very good and generous tippers but because of such rude staff, we tipped the minimal.
The food was great, the staff was nice and attentive, the place was very clean, and the atmosphere was warm! I'd highly recommend going here to anyone looking for a nice dinner! Their menu is huge—you can order anything from traditional Chinese dishes to sushi! I'd recommend trying their spring rolls; they were very good! Fusha Asian Fusion
I've known about this place since over a decade ago. Its sushi rolls have been "50% off" forever. I forgot why I never bothered to eat there. Maybe I checked it out in between meals and lost confidence due to lack of customers? Whatever. This time the place was bustling. We had to get on the wait list. They texted us when our table was ready after about 20 minutes. The menu was one big laminated double-sided sheet. One side was mostly sushi and sushi rolls, the rest were hodge-podge of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai entrées/appetizers. In hindsight, I'd just order from sushi menu, period. That's where you get the bang for your buck; and that's where the restaurant excel in my opinion. We ordered one Chinese entrée, Spicy Tea Chicken ($14.95), since I've never heard of that dish and it got me really curious. Well, it's nothing special; just a generic stir-fried chicken with vegetable. We order 5 other rolls. Kamikaze Roll, Hawaii Roll, Fire Dragon Roll, White Dragon Roll, and Six Flag Roll. Most of the rolls were either $8.50 or $9.50. We were pleasantly surprised that the rolls had proportionally little rice. They were all good, but the Six Flag Roll especially stood out in its presentation and extra crispiness. Service was excellent. It's a fun place to eat and very affordably priced. We look forward to come back and check out the rest of their sushi rolls on the menu.
Went to meet friends who invited us but was unaware that it was basically a sushi restaurant and my wife and I don't eat sushi, but we went to spend time with our friends. The service was very good and the server was very attentive. We ordered from the chinese food lunch menu and was impressed with my chicken in garlic sauce and my wife enjoyed the shrimp with lobster sauce very much . Our friends had sashimi and Avacado rolls which they said was very good. Atmosphere was rather generic like a takeout restaurant with tables to eat in. The outing turned out to be better than expected.
Nara Thai Cuisine
We came in not expecting much but were blown away from the amazing food! Everything was well balanced and the decor is beautiful. Very peaceful and well put together restaurant! Underrated and deserves more business. Must try the mango sticky rice btw, leaves you wondering if you should order another!
Really like the food and service is fantastic. Definitely deserves a try!!! Highly recommend :)
Bangkok Bistro Thai Eatery
By far the best Thai food I have had. The food was so appetizing that we left the plates empty, literally wiped out 🤗 and didn’t take pics in the beginning. Will definitely come back and bring family and friends. We had the road side noodles, drunken noodles, red curry and Tom yum soup and closed off with a fried ice cream. Will come again and add more photos.
If you're liking for tasty and fresh Thai food, look no further. The duck, pad Thai, panang cury chicken were excellent. In part, with some of the better Thai places I've been to. Be forewarned however, the price is skew a little bit to the higher side in comparison to other local spots. You get what you pay for however. I'm in.
Oyako Tso's Sushi and Hibachi Steakhouse
Oyako is a small place that draws large crowds. My recent visit was so crazy crowded, but mostly, it was for people waiting for Hibachi. Fortunately, we were there for their delicious sushi and chicken platter! I usually order takeout from here, but we decided to go in, and there was a table available right away for us because we didn't want hibachi. The food was delicious as usual, but the people waiting for the hibachi unfortunately stood close by and watched us eating. It was annoying, to be honest. They do have a closed off room near the pick up and register area that they may want to reconsider for a waiting area if they are going to allow people to wait inside. Otherwise, maybe extend the opening that they closed in outside for the waiters out more. Service was quick, and they were friendly.
The food is fresh and delicious. Prices are great and the atmosphere is nice. I really enjoy their Sushi as you can tell.
All Seasons Diner II
My favorite diner meal here is the chicken kabob with roasted vegetables served over rice. I must admit, however, that I have it served with angel hair and marinara sauce. That's what I love about this place- they will not make a big deal over substitutions. And those roasted veggies (red and green peppers, mushrooms, onions) are tender and full of flavor. I dont know what seasoning they use but the juice on the chicken pieces and veggies is delicious. The chicken is always juicy and delectable. It comes with a choice of soup or typical side salad garnished with a few beet slices and chick peas. If you catch it on a board specials night you get both soup and salad, and dessert. I usually order my soup to go because a lot of food is served. I wish they served coke products but not so I usually order an unsweetened tea. I did deviate from this favorite chicken kabob dinner and the club sandwich was great but.... once you go kabob you can never go back.
Listen. I don’t usually post reviews but this one was so necessary. I loveeee me a good diner and this is a GOOD DINER. I’ve been here plenty of times but it had been a while. I got a waffle. I saw the picture of the waffle on the menu and thought “it’s not gonna look like that but i want it anyway.” Please look at this waffle. Is this not the most delicious beautiful waffle you’ve ever seen? This is exactly what the picture looked like. When do you go to a diner and actually get such fresh fruit!? Go to this diner and get anything, it’s delicious, but I seriously recommend the tropical waffle!!
Soho Ramen
Can’t stop thinking about this food! So delicious and our server was delightful. Great price for how much food we got. Soup dumplings and smashed cucumbers are a must! Excited to go back and try more!
Soho Ramen in Freehold is a hidden gem! We ordered takoyaki, rainbow dumplings, soup dumplings, and the ribeye ramen, and every single item was outstanding. The takoyaki was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a generous topping of bonito flakes for that authentic flavor. The rainbow dumplings were a feast for the eyes and the palate, each dumpling bursting with fresh, vibrant fillings. The soup dumplings were delicate, filled with savory broth and tender meat – just incredible! But the highlight for us was the ribeye ramen. The broth was rich, deeply flavored, and the ribeye was tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The atmosphere is cozy, service is fast and friendly, and you can tell they put so much care into every dish. Whether you’re a ramen fan or just looking for delicious, comforting food, Soho Ramen is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
Applebee's Grill + Bar
Attended this apple bees 1/2/25 and was not disappointed. Our server Scott was personable knowledgeable and excellent. Not only did he bring the food at a timely manner and answer all our questions, he had a great personality too and was great to talk too! Next time I come in I will be asking for Scott!
Applebees is definitely a good restaurant because you can be best assured you cannot go wrong. Plenty of drink varieties. Happy hour prices between 3 to 6 PM and 10 PM - close. I feel the prices have definitely gone up by certain percentage and it’s not the same as it used to be a year or two ago. A simple dinner meal with 2 drinks for 2 adults & 1 kid costed almost $75. That includes sharing. Nevertheless, the food quality has been consistently maintained. The food portions are slightly reduced to meet profit margin. Just my opinion. There is NOT a lot of vegetarian option. The food is charged at regular price but to add veggies it costs extra. Meaning, you’ll end up paying more than menu price because they consider it customization.
Manalapan Diner
Best American diner in the Manalapan/Marlboro area bar none. The staff is always so pleasant and the food is always good! Great place to bring friends and family. 10/10
Decent diner food. Nothing special here. Pancakes are a good size. Omelets mediocre. Had the meat loved- more veggies than meat. Also ordered a broccoli and cheese. Cheese wasn’t evenly distributed or melted inside.
Turning Point of Manalapan
The meal was worth the 30 minute wait! One of my guests had the ham and cheese omelet with home fries, and rye toast along with a pot of "unlimited coffee" the overall rating for that meal was fantastic. The CrossFit egg white omelet was rated as perfectly done. The comment was a lot of effort went into making the fresh vegetables in the omelet perfectly done. Another guest had the Shakshuka 3 poached eggs with spicy tomato sauce. The comment was "this was the best breakfast ever" This went perfectly with the cannoli cold brew coffee. The house cold brew coffee comes with a jumbo sized ice cube made with coffee. That is a nice touch and it makes for a wonderful presentation. Another guest had the G.O.A.T omelet. No goats were harmed in the making of this omelet. The omelet was made with spinach and a generous amount of goat cheese. This dish was another outstanding meal. This was coupled with a cannoli cold brew coffee. I had the Key West egg white omelet along with the generous sized Kona blend French press coffee. Someone sitting near to us had the Wilbur skillet. They said it is one of their favorite dishes there. Overall everyone I was with had a good time. The comments from my guests were all positive. Finally the service was attentive, friendly and enthusiastic. Compliments all around! The servers and managers were professional, polite and made for a pleasant meal experience. I will definitely return for another fantastic breakfast.
Ordered a bacon and cheese omelette as well as tableside cinnamon rolls that were awesome! The service was great Dashawn was super friendly at the host stand and Becca was a great waitress, she was very attentive and friendly. I love this location and will be coming back soon!
