Tonight Kabab 王老师东北烤串
If you are craving for authentic Chinese food , not an American twist version , here is the place to come and check in. A lot of people came here for barbecue meat, which is their featured food, however, it was a surprise that the other dishes they served were quite high standard, you would think you are somewhere in a northern town in china instead of in Rutgers of New Jersey , that is how good they are. First is the taste of meat, fresh and juicy, we obviously over ordered , but the beef and pork are all very good, make sure you ordered beef tongues, it will open a whole new world in front of you . Dumplings is a must to order , which definitely reminds you the taste of mommy cooking . The skin is thin with generous fillings . Various version of Chinese salad 拌菜that they mix all sorts of vegetables and sesame seasoning together , there is another one they mix with Chinese vinegar, very refreshing. If you are into spicy, make sure you ordered the fried chicken and stir fry cabbage They are also very good at making eggplant dishes , both barbecue one and the one with sugar coating are so flavorful. Worth to try out .. We are very satisfied with the dining experience here
If you’re in Edison, you have to check out this spot! The food is absolutely delicious, and the customer service? Next level amazing. Perfect for a family outing, a date, or just grabbing a bite with friends. Seriously, give it a try—you’ll love it!
Umami Bowls
This spot is a hidden gem in New Jersey and the only place around offering authentic Cantonese claypot rice! The dishes are freshly prepared, and the flavors are outstanding. A standout feature is the perfectly crispy rice crust at the bottom of the pot—a must-have for any claypot rice lover. I ordered the Chinese preserved meat claypot rice and the grilled eel claypot rice, and both were incredibly satisfying. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous. The rich, smoky flavors combined with the tender meats made for an unforgettable meal. If you’re a fan of traditional Cantonese claypot rice or just curious to try something unique, I highly recommend checking this place out. It’s a delightful experience for your taste buds!
Excellent service and enjoyed the lunch special this past Saturday that not only included ramen but also could pick sushi or gyoza! Since we were pressed for time, didn't get a chance to try the clay rice pot which looked good so need to go back
Dragon Palace Halal Sichuan
Pretty decent place to check out. Only Complaints are when you’re waiting for your food they don’t bring you anything to munch on and seems like the waiter forgot bout the drinks I ordered. Had to keep reminding them to bring the drinks over. All in an all a decent place.
The service is outstanding and the food is delicious! We got lamb scallion, beef noodles, and chicken and broccoli, as well as the chicken corn soup. A great place for family style dining.
Bombay Blue
Do Not Be Afraid To Come To This Establishment if you do not understand the menu- I told the host my food restrictions, no dairy, or eggs, and HONEY! What they brought out hit all the spots, the food was delicious, service was outstanding, establishment was beautiful, even the bathroom was nice and smelled really good, and they were so attentive!
Food is really good and service is pretty fast. You can have some really good North Indian food here. However i would say it’s not a place where you could sit peacefully for dinner as it gets very noisy to even talk over the table. Food portion is good too. Chicken tandoor-5/5 Shrimp tandoor-4/5( only bcz tail were burned) Chicken 69-3/5(chicken was chewy) Chicken curry with garlic naan-4/5 Mutton biryani-5/5 Chicken biryani-5/5 Veg kadai-3/5(too oily) Veg hakka noodles-4/5 Drinks were ok as well.
China Wok
Food was good. Not too high on sodium. It was a bit weird, wondering if they allow dine in since there's table. But the way they are seems like its only to go food.
Good food made & served by good people. We ordered the shrimp w/ broccoli off the healthy menu, and chicken with Chinese veggies (pics). Great place if you're hungry late @ night like we were. Thank you for being open late!
B2J Fish Soup Edison 不二家酸菜鱼 Edison
Highly recommended! Such a delicious place to come back for. We love the fish and beef here, always tender and flavourful. The side dishes were great as well, especially the crispy pork belly. Fantastic service and atmosphere as well. They also have great to-go boxes to take leftovers.
If you're looking for the ultimate fish dish experience, B2J Fish Soup is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for an incredible dining experience. Their signature fish soup is nothing short of perfection. The broth is rich, flavorful, and expertly balanced—comforting yet bursting with bold, fresh flavors. The fish was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and tasted as if it was caught fresh that morning. The quality of the ingredients truly shines, and every bite feels like a love letter to seafood. The staff is attentive and friendly, always ready to make recommendations or accommodate special requests. It’s clear they take pride in their craft, and it shows in every aspect of the meal. B2J Fish Soup is a hidden gem that deserves to be on everyone’s must-visit list. Whether you’re a seafood enthusiast or just curious to try something new, this place is a win. I can't wait to return!
LaoWu Authentic ShangHai Dumpling
Super busy during peak meal times but only had to wait a few minutes when coming at around 3PM on a Saturday afternoon. Really enjoyed their soup dumplings and spicy wontons. The pan fried noodle (good value) and green mustard fish soup was also yummy.
“Stumbled upon this hidden gem of a mom-and-pop place, and I’m so glad I did! Their crab and pork soup dumplings were incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor. The pork wontons in spicy peanut sauce? Absolutely to die for! Perfectly balanced spice with that rich, nutty sauce—can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommend!”
Shahnawaz Palace
Today we ended up in Edison, NJ and lunch at Shahnawaz Buffet. There is plenty of parking in the back. The buffet features a wide verity of freshly prepared and authentic dishes, spanning appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Highlights included halwa puri and haleem, among many others. The service was notably attentive, with plates promptly cleared and drinks quickly served. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I highly recommend.
Today we took a ride to Edison and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Shahnawaz Buffet. All of the foods were freshly prepared and flavorful. Had we not been trying to observe Lent, we would have had to limit ourselves, but what we had was delicious! Make the trip and be wowed! Lots of good food!
Fat Panda
If you're craving Indo-Chinese cuisine, this spot is worth a visit. The Mixed Schezwan Noodles are a must-try. They have that classic spicy, tangy flavor reminiscent of Indian-style chow mein, making them a great comfort food choice. For soup lovers, the Lemon Coriander Soup stands out—light, refreshing, and packed with zesty flavors. On the appetizer front, the Drums of Heaven or Chicken Lollipop are exactly what you'd expect from a traditional Indian-style take on the dish: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Ideal for anyone looking for that familiar desi touch in their food. In short, this place hits the right balance between Chinese flavors and Indian street food vibes, making it a fantastic spot for lovers of fusion food.
We ordered Chilli Garlic Noodles with Chicken and absolutely loved it. The noodles were perfect and the chicken was well cooked. It was a lil bit on the spicy end but we still loved them, even though we were full we could not stop eating them. It was a good amount for 2 people and it costed like 12$ roughly. I would definitely visit this place again if I Ever want to eat some good Indo Chinese noodles.
Jade Dynasty
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the fried dumplings. The chicken was dry and stale and the dumplings were over oily. I don't recommend this place as it was drastically overpriced as well. You're better off spending your money literally anywhere but here
The worst egg roll ever had, and the house Lo mein was 6 shrimp and no other meats in it. No chicken beef or pork don't waste your hard earned money on this place. This use to be an awesome place to eat. Just close the doors.
Ming
We loved their food! Their food tasted very similar to Kolkata Chinese food! We ordered their Schezwan chicken dumplings, Ming cumin lamb, Chilli shrimp, Burnt chilli garlic noodles, and Chilli chicken hakka style. All were delicious! However their dishes are expensive. And they add 20% gratuity on all orders which felt too much!
Jitu was an excellent server! It was our first time dining at ming, he was very welcoming and gave great suggestions! He recommended the papaya salad ,chicken bao ,pineapple rice with shrimp Thai curry and it was delicious. Thank you jitu for the great experience, we will definitely be back again…
Kwong's Cafe
We got Beef w. Broccoli combo plates with pork fried rice, chicken on a stick with a couple shrimp sauces. I ordered the general tso's combo plate but I asked for them to make it with the sweet & sour chicken cuts & I was blown away. The flavors were so good. Literally cooked to perfection. Even the egg rolls tasted like fresh shredded cabbage inside them. The pork fried rice had a slight bbg smoky flavor and it was moist but not greasy. I had to stop myself from over eating it was so good. Beef & Broccoli was so tender and thinly sliced and sauced, the beef melted in your mouth. The Broccoli must've been steamed 1st b4 being cooked bcuz my word it was good in the beef plate and my general tso's. Their shrimp sauce is addicting. Every time I come by edison & I'm craving Chinese food, this will always be my go to.
The food here has been amazing! They cheese wontons are so so good! The shrimp fried rice is delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is the best in the area! It’s not fatty or grisly and has such great flavor! The shrimp and broccoli is also so very good. I highly recommend giving this new restaurant a chance! You wont be disappointed! Enjoy!
