CreAsian
This used to be a great restaurant, but new owners don’t take care of it, it is dirty inside and unkept outside. Shame, this was once one of my five star places, wont be back. Didn’t have appetizers other than Rangoon.
The food is great, but there is a discrepancy between the menu and what the cooks give you with the Orange Chicken. The menu says that Orange Chicken comes with garlic and scallions (green onions), but every time I've order the food, they don't put scallions on it unless I tell the front staff. When my favorite front staff is there, I tell them to make sure they put scallions on there when I shouldn't have to have the front staff remind the cooks about their own menu online or in-store. If my favorite person isn't there, they sometimes charge me for scallions even though it's supposed to come with it by their own menu's description online and in-store.
Panda Express
Haven't been here in years. Very delicious, friendly staff, decent prices, clean restrooms.
I love this place. The food is always great, the staff are always so nice, and the line always moves quickly. Today, my wife got a batch of orange chicken fresh off the stove and it smelled amazing. I come here about once a week, and I don't plan to break that trend any time soon.
Panda Express
AVERY IS AMAZING!! So kind and professional! I took my Dad out to lunch and he has a hard time with the menu item names she was so sweet and patient. The rest of the staff was great too, very clean atmosphere and quick service. We will definitely be back! Special shout out and big thank you to Avery for making our lunch extra awesome ❤️❤️❤️
Everyone that works here is super friendly and the food is always fresh.
Bamboo House Restaurant
This used to be my favorite Chinese food place but the quality of both food and service has gone downhill tremendously in the last 6 months. On one I had went and ordered two daily specials with crab Rangoon, when I got my food I was missing the crab Rangoon and went back in to tell them know. The woman who I assume is the owner immediately said (before even checking) that’s not what you ordered. She was super short and kind of rude and never apologized. The food is mediocre at best. On another occasion I asked if I could get cashews (I was willing to pay extra) and was told they don’t have enough cashews to do extra. This was 2pm on a weekday. I will say the younger guy who works the window is always kind and greets you with a smile! He saves their business. I have tried giving them chance after chance as this used to be a favorite spot but they disappoint every time. I know there’s few food selections in Marionville but the City Morgue right next door has good food and great service. Save your money & go that route!
This was the absolute worst food let alone Chinese food we have ever had. 30 plus dollars just to throw it in the trash. You should be ashamed to serve slop like that.
Shanghai Buffet
I could get better quality Chinese food from a microwave dinner. Food on the buffet had been sitting for a long time so did not have a fresh taste. As one reviewer said about chicken littery floating in sauce, this was true. Breading all mushy and nasty taste. The ice cream machine was broke. The salad bar was a joke, they just need to do away with that part. Food had a weird taste to it. The place is old and could use a remodel. The server was polite and no issues with service provided. We had a 2 year old and was charged $5.99 for him. He had a cookie, 1 piece of broccoli a 2 dessert cakes. Ridiculous. Have been to many buffets 3 times the size of this place with so much more offerings and less expensive too.
Waiter was awesome food on the hand was less than good I wouldn't recommend this place potatoes was good but not cooked all the way lomain was ok cookies where good
Cashew Inn Cashew Out
I live 12 hours away and I can’t find general chicken like they have here. The quality of the chicken is amazing. The sauce is literally perfect. I’ve had general chicken elsewhere and the chicken is either dry or mostly breading. I think this place gets the best general chicken in the world reward.
I gave it 3 stars because the food was not that good and they only give one crab rangoon (that had nothing in it, as shown in review photos) while other places offer more than that for the same prices. Like other people mentioned, the chicken is crunchy in a weird way and the rice was very plain and small for most places that I am used to. I wanted to try this place and I will say one time is enough for me.
Pao's Chinese Restaurant
Wonderful small town Chinese food restaurant with a varied menu for anyone’s tastes. I like their tofu with vegetables.
I Love his food & it always taste fresh & he usually says 10 min & it’s usually done close to that! Unless you eat it there it may take longer ,but that’s okay. He only takes cash & that can be a pain , but that’s okay with me if I want it bad enough I just go to the ATM 😊 I’ve never got sick either after eating here.
Happy House
Had lunch there today. A friend took me there. Not happy. The food was average if anything. I'm about 30 min drive. Half way back and my stomach is feeling so bad. I don't think I'll go back there. Add to this: I barley made it back to there house. I'm sick at my stomach. I won't go back. Be careful.
Foods always good, never had a problem here. Plus my kids love this place
Hong Kong Inn Ozark
I used to eat at Hong Kong Inn once a week for years. The prices have gone up, the quality has gone down. The sauce being served separate is depressing. I’d guess it’s about half the sauce that used to be included when the sauce was served over the chicken. The portions are smaller. The food isn’t as flavorful as it once was. The menu is much smaller. The chicken tastes kind of gamey and tough now. The rice is odd, it tastes stale/old and almost inedible. The rice also has too many large chunks of onion now. I can make my own Chinese food or splurge a little more on Yen Ching. I’m officially done giving them my business, and I know I’m not the one, as there are never many cars there anymore.
Bourbon Chicken and Crab Rangoon were phenomenal! Cashew chicken and fried rice were amazing also!
Lucy's Chinese Food
I don’t usually take the time to write a review but I felt the need to write one. The portions were pretty small for the amount of money. The food left a weird taste in my mouth, it was so bad my wife and I couldn’t finish our meals. We took the food back and they gave us a full refund. The customer service was great, but they definitely need to change something. Wouldn’t recommend it, which is sad because Lucy’s used to be really good!
Great food and great service!! Cashew chicken was delicious! Crab ragoon did have a garlic flavor which I loved, but some might not just fyi! Would go again!
China House
China House Buffet – A Must-Visit Spot for Delicious Dining China House is a fantastic buffet that never disappoints! The variety of dishes is impressive, and everything is always fresh and flavorful. My absolute favorite is the cranberry chicken – it’s the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and I can’t get enough of it. The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. The staff here truly stands out; they’re friendly, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. If you’re craving great food, good value, and excellent service, China House is the place to be. I highly recommend giving it a try – you won’t regret it!
Honestly I love this place the people here are absolutely attentive to your needs, and actually care about you as a customer. I went when it was slow so there was not a whole lot going on. But this restaurant deserves 5 stars!!!
Panda House
Considering this is a smaller Chinese Buffet Restaurant, they offered a decent variety of dishes. They also had a salad bar, shrimp cocktail and dessert, including ice cream. I think they should have omitted the over cooked cookies, but maybe some people prefer them that way. Other then that, the food was mostly fresh. It was a weekday so I do notice Buffets in general tend to not be nearly as fresh vs. the weekend’s.
I’ve gone twice. And is a local favorite. It should have a higher rating. Food is delicious, service is great for a buffet, and it has a clean and bright atmosphere. The music is kept at the perfect volume. They have delicious beef and broccoli. When they open again, i definitely will be eating here.
