Leeann Chin
Sweet and sour chicken was nothing but a cut up chicken patty with some sauce in a cup. The Kung Pau Beef was almost worse. You get 3 little pieces of meat and a ton of vegetables. Hit and miss to say the least. Normally the food here is great but this sucks.
So…we ordered our food and the food here is good. One thing we noticed was the cashier checked us out, etc and while waiting for our food went straight to chopping veggies without washing hands. Need to focus on cleanliness after the remodel.
Yin Yang Chinese Restaurant
It was a takeout place only. Ordered thru a window. I only ordered one dish and asked for no onions and when I got it to the office, opened it up and yep, lots of onions. Couldn't even eat it and just threw it away. Called to tell them that, and they said next time I go back, let them know and they'll get me a dish for free. I tasted a little before throwing it away and it was a little greasy and didn't have much flavor. Not sure if I'll go back again, even if it's free.
🤮 I've been coming here since I was a little girl with my mom and grandma. Today I ordered the shrimp fried rice for pickup. As soon as I started eating it, I realized the fried rice was good, but the shrimp itself was mushy throughout and had a very strange urine/ammonia like essence to it. I have never experienced this before. I've been eating shrimp my whole life. I turn to google and discovered that this ammonia like flavor and the fumes in my throat was because the shrimp was spoiled! I went back to the restaurant and kindly spoke with the owner. He was RUDE! I returned the large container of poison back to him & he shamed me for eating the few bites I did before realizing it was rotten! He pointed to the sign that read "All sales are final" and refused to offer *any* type of solution. He did NOT care one bit that he sold me poisonous shrimp and that I may get sick. He said, "If you get sick, go to the hospital!" (I'm hoping I didn't eat enough to actually get sick.🙏 I have a funeral to attend for my grandmother who just passed away two days ago.) This really isn't about the $16.25 I spent. It's the principle- the fact that he is okay with ripping me off like this, so careless, and I can no longer trust this establishment's quality control, food safety/sanitation or to honor their commitment to only sell food to our community that is safe for human consumption. Sad they would rather lose a recurring customer than to do the right thing.
Leeann Chin
Well I'm a big spender when it comes to Lee Ann Chin in my opinion I go to different ones often than I probably should. Walked in after long 10hr shift to grab grub and I'm literally standing watching a worker wipe down around heaters food contains but the food particles that fell out of pan onto counter she literally put back into food.i immediately said your not suppose to do that and she looked at me like I was alien of sort and she went into explaining how clean the counter is etc..I said no its contaminated food then I asked her name she said Kendra I ask her position I was horrified when she said manager and I ask for my food to be made fresh and waited but after she made it she threw rest onto contaminated food she refused to discard. She clearly has been doing this and because she was trying to convince me how clean the counter was that she wipes with this contaminated towel all day is ok. She clearly should not be in the position and have the title of manager you are serving ppl food off the counter and yess she did to the customers behind me because she didn't discard. I will never eat there again because if not getting fresh and watching i will always think of the contaminated food she served, with no apologies for what she did and throw it out! This is grounds for disciplinary action..Yuck..Kendra. you know exactly who's you are and the customer writing this.
small portions!!! staff is rude I asked for a little bit of extra meat and he was like oh that would be $4.50. well this is what I got for $12 a half a scoop of rice a half a scoop of bourbon chicken and one full scoop of orange chicken. when I asked because there’s other customer that had very much larger portions to my size . I heard him tell the other girl she doesn’t need it that’s why..Shittty ppl for real.
Panda Express
5* for the food. 2 for service. The portions are small compared to other locations. Service could use some adjustments.
It's been years since I've eaten here and tonight I remember why. Really disappointed. It's the busiest station in the food court, but honestly, the food tastes horrible. Nothing like the buffet that's for sure 🤮 12 dollars for my meal with no drink 😒
Ming's Garden
This has to be hands down some of the worst take out on the east side. The food arrived warm but lacked any type of sauces for the egg rolls. The beef lo mein was a tad bit hard and had a really bad taste to it. The egg rolls were probably a two out of five The only good part was the rice. There's a lot better options like Peking garden which is a little bit more expensive but you get what you pay for.
Great food great customer service and reasonable price. I didn't even know about this place until my sisters from Ca ordered me take out food for my birthday. I was surprised a delivery person came to the door with food I wasn't gonna open my door. 😆 You can order for pick up it's fast and convenient. Food is delicious and fresh! BTW their menu has not been updated so I took pictures of the menu for anyone who would like to order food here. 😋 My favorite order is the family meal!!
Leeann Chin
2025-02-15 - I visited the Leeann Chin location in St. Anthony, MN, on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by subpar customer service from one of the sales associates. While one associate was friendly and attentive, the other associate who assisted me seemed disinterested and unhelpful. She prioritized conversations with her peer over attending to my needs. When I requested a receipt, she instructed me to retrieve it myself instead of handing it to me. When I politely expressed my disappointment with her service, she ignored my comment. Furthermore, I was taken aback when the friendlier associate sat on the counter with her shoes on the counter, displaying a lack of attention to cleanliness and customer presence. As a customer, I do enjoy the food of the establishment, but I expect a certain level of attentiveness and cleanliness. I hope Leeann Chin will take steps to address this issue and provide better training for their staff, especially sitting on the counter with shoes, as evidence by the attached picture.
I needed tofu already made for a curry I was making. They have some here; not the best, nor worst I’ve had. A bit chewy & near $10…will still be on the hunt for amazing already cooked tofu. They used to sell pre-cooked in Denver, CO for $4 at near any Asian grocery store…not here for some reason.
Leeann Chin
We ate food from here for the first time. Ordered takeout since I had a promo from Instacart. I have to say, it was the WORST meal I’ve had in a while. It was terrible, half of it went in the trash. We ordered the bourbon chicken and the Peking chicken, along with egg rolls and a few potstickers. The potstickers sucked, the were tiny and shriveled but more so the sauce was STRAIGHT SALT. Good lord, like a salt concentrate. Salty dumplings too. Move on to the egg rolls. They’re were mushy and HAVE to be frozen egg rolls heated up. They were also so damn salty again, I couldn’t even eat a whole one. The appetizer sauce aka duck sauce was disgusting. Thankfully I have my own I like. Onto the entrees: don’t ask me how you can make white rice bad but they did it. Idk if it’s just low quality rice or what. It looked undercooked but wasn’t crunchy. Nothing like sticky rice or white rice you get at a Chinese place. It was also so dry. The bourbon chicken didnt have much flavor but charred grill, and was dry as hell and really fatty and grizzly. Half of the chicken wasn’t eaten. The Peking chicken was cooked better but was doused in the sauce that was thick, almost like a jam. Was also SUPER sweet. Honestly nothing was good. Overall we ate the bare minimum to stave our hunger and tossed the rest. What a terrible meal. Nothing was good at all. Never will I eat at a Leeann Chins again. I feel gross just for eating it. It wasn’t even worth it with the promo discount. Wouldn’t eat this food if it was given away for free. Just terrible.
The sweet and sour chicken was not even cooked in the sauce it was served in a cup on side. Only had 1 carrot slice and 2 pineapple pieces. The beef and broccoli was all broccoli very little beef. Cheese wontons where all dough and soggy. The green beans had good flavor. I would not recommend this place. You could cook chicken yourself and drizzle sweet and sour sauce on it yourself at home for much cheaper.
Great Dragon Chinese Restaurant
This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to! The food was authentic, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish was fresh and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great Dragon is a solid spot for Chinese food in St. Paul. The portions are generous, and the flavors are authentic. The sesame chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the dumplings were fresh and well-seasoned. Friendly service and reasonable prices make it a great choice for takeout or dine-in. Will definitely be back!
Legendary Spice - Roseville (Rosedale Center)
Don't go here, you will feel ashamed if you don't follow this warning. What a rip off. Order at a kiosk but with sit down prices.... There was almost no one there and it took 20 minutes for food to be ready, what kind of food court service is this? We ordered noodles that came out greasy, scallion pancakes that were undercooked and also very greasy, and a kimchi/pork fried rice. The fried rice I couldn't tell whether it had any pork or kimchi at all - I could only find egg/cheap frozen vegetables. I went up to the counter to complain and a couple of teens who really didn't seem to care and seemed like I was bothering them told me the missing ingredients were there just very small. I was so confused I just walked away in shame. We spent $50 on 2 dishes and an appetizer and enjoyed none of it. That's all you will feel going to Legendary Spice - overwhelming shame. So yourself a favor and go across to the burger dive where people looked like they didn't hate themselves.
Absolutely delicious and authentic Chinese food! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and reminded me of home. The Crab Fried Rice was definitely the highlight — it’s made with real crab meat, not imitation crab sticks like many other places. You can really taste the difference. It was fragrant, not too oily, and perfectly seasoned. I also tried the honeydew Yakult drink, and it was so refreshing — just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess from the Yakult. A great combo to go with the meal. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. The place was clean and cozy, and the menu had a good variety of classic Chinese dishes. It’s hard to find Chinese food this authentic, especially with such good ingredients. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends with me!
