Bit disappointed. Grew up loving their food but no longer the same after few yrs returning. Lomein was mediocre w/diff larger noodles than before. Diff veggie types now too, not a fan of new recipe. Fried rice bit underflavored but good amount of meat cept lots of white unflavored rice pieces. Hot n Sour soup not sour at all. Chicken broccoli bland. Cresm cheese wonton & eggrolls typical. May be few more yrs till return or not at all. However, prices very reasonable compared to $15+ dishes at other local chinese takeouts.

Wong's Kitchen is a hidden gem in St. Paul. Nothing compares to the service and food. Egg rolls are massive with flavor and orange chicken is never dried out and has a good amount of sauce unlike other spots we've tried in St. Paul. Even though we've moved out of state when we come back to Minnesota we grab Wong's Kitchen and the owner still remembers us. Hard to beat that type of customer service.

Food is always good. But this time the regular chow mein was very salty. Bought it for my sister who got out of the hospital. Her bo was a bit high so she couldn't eat it. Time before we purchased the regular chow mein it had no salty taste. Totally disappointed this time. We purchased this on April 24th a Thursday. Don't know if they have different cooks certain days.

I stopped going here last yr because on 2 separate occasions I asked for chicken and for it to be fried hard. Both times the chicken wasn’t done. The second time I went back and got my money back. Well my kids wanted Chinese food tonight so I went against many better judgment called in my order and asked for 2 orders of chicken which are suppose to be $8 each with 6 pieces. I asked for it to be fried extra hard and I also ordered a large chicken fried rice and a small shrimp rice. I was told my order was $35 over the phone after I was asked if I was paying with cash or card. I get there my order is $42. I asked her what happened to the price I was told over the phone. She said something about cookies and I told her I never said anything about no cookies. She said I’ll give them for free but I was still charged the same price. I get home and was instantly pissed. The chicken wasn’t done AGAIN and it was only 4 pieces in each order along with fries I NEVER ORDERD‼️ I’m so upset. I just had to put the chicken in the air fryer cause I don’t wanna drive back out there. And I know if I were to call that she would get an attitude cause that’s what happened last time I called. I just had to tell me kids we will never be going there again no matter how much they ask. We will go somewhere else. This is upsetting and unacceptable.

2023 updated review: the inside is still not open for seating but calling ahead is usually super fast. Tonight we had cream cheese puffs, shrimp fried rice, general Tso's chicken, and walnut shrimp. Consistency is seriously the best, I can always count on a good meal! Original review: My go-to neighborhood chinese food spot! I will often get delivery because they tend to get quite busy and I don't really like to wait for pick up as the time estimates can be delayed. My top favorites are the Walnut shrimp, cream cheese wontons, and house fried rice. Other things are great too!

The food was great. I was just in the mood for Chicken Lo mein after work and this hit the spot. The service was great too. The server made sure that I was comfortable and was more then polite.

Fantastic takeout. The owners are so kind, appreciative, and helpful. My husband and I went for the first time tonight and we will absolutely be back. The sesame chicken and cream cheese wontons were incredible.

I absolutely love this place. The owner and her husband are absolutely awesome at cooking. The food is outstanding! Also, even when I haven't been there in months, the second I call and place my order, she always knows it's me! Through my times or going there and interacting with other customers, she knows most of her regular people's names and orders as well, and she's always so nice. I can't say enough good things about this place!

A very enjoyable dinner on an early Saturday night. Plenty of seating available for our party of 4. Service was excellent and our food came out very promptly. I enjoyed the Cumin Lamb very much. Not overpowering so as to lose the flavor of the meat. A large bowl of communal rice came with our order. The pork dumplings were a very good starter. Can also recommend the Chung King Spicy Chicken and Pork fried rice. Well worth a visit when in the area

Service was quick since I was the lone customer dinning in. I wished he would had refilled my water though. I had the spicy beef noodle soup. Came out hot but wouldn't say the same about the spice level. Beef was on the saltier side and some peices tasted like it had been left out side on the counter for hours. The noodles seemed to be those hand made noodles which were fine. Also ordered the double cooked pork dish to go. Man I was shocked to find out it was just bacon! Looked more like a stir fried noodle dish.

Man, I really really wanted to like this place. It's five minutes from our house, and family owned. The food we got was partly okay, chicken was pretty tough, rice was pretty bland, we were gonna gloss over that because the prices were pretty good, but the pork wonton appetizer made me laugh out loud in disbelief. I hate leaving bad reviews but honestly what are thooooose 😭 reminiscent of wet cat food, except it was completely dry. We didn't eat much of our food. The lady handing out to go orders was so very nice, we really really wanted to love it.

TLDR: Food poisoning. Sesame chicken, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons. First time I ordered from them was good so I felt safe door dashing from them a second time. IMMEDIATELY got food poisoning. I knew as I was eating it something was off. The chicken was extra greasy and tough, the egg rolls tasted off. The wontons were insanely stale. Everything felt like I was eating someone else’s two day old recooked dish. My husband then told me that they’ve had a history of cockroaches. Never again.

First time visiting for dinner in between dance classes and the food and prices blew my mind! We ordered the steamed dumplings, beef chow fun, salt and pepper squid, and the honey walnut shrimp. The portions were generous! The flavors were delicious! So glad I found this gem and I will be back to visit many more times. Service was also great and incredibly friendly.

This is a small restaurant in a strip mall. The food is decent, above average for the price. There are the usual lunch specials and also a buffet at lunch (don't know about other times). I have not dined in, but the place is modest and quiet. Carry out is fairly quick. Staff are considerate and courteous.

I've had lunch here twice, and on both occasions (it was not busy during lunch time), I was impressed by the overall experience. The service was consistently attentive and friendly, with staff frequently checking in to ensure everything was to our liking and promptly refilling our drinks without us having to ask. The lunch specials are definitely worth trying—they don't disappoint. Each dish arrived freshly made, showcasing vibrant flavors and careful preparation. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for the price. It's clear that quality and customer satisfaction are priorities here. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this spot delivers on both food and service. Highly recommend giving it a try!

We tried Pagoda for the first time on Lunar New Year- January 29, 2025. It was about half full. What a fantastic restaurant. We ate at 7:00 during the week so there was not an all-you can eat option for dim sum, but they offer dim sum a la cart. The turnip rice cake was amazing. It’s not a sweet cake, but a savory cake. It had Chinese sausage, rice, and turnip. The outside texture is crunchy and the interior is silky soft. A nice play of contrasting textures with an occasional bite of a sliced Chinese sausage. The orange chicken tastes like the orange chicken I make at home with real orange juice. The ratio of batter to chicken is perfect, not too much batter. The Honey Walnut shrimp has large shrimp with a contrasting sweet and salty flavor. Yum. I love tofu and again, there is a play on texture. The outside initial bite had a great crunch and then the interior was silky smooth. It was appropriately seasoned. It wasn’t too spicy if I didn’t eat all the sliced peppers. My favorite was the weekly special of deep fried Pompano. Nice crunch on the outside and moist flaky fish. It was a great choice, but temper your expectations because it’s a smaller fish and I was satisfied with the amount of meat on the fish. Overall, a great place to eat and I would recommend this restaurant.

5th or 6th time coming here. Every time it’s not what I want. Mostly onion in dry Mongolian beef for $5 more. Could have drove 2 miles more for Better quality at a cheaper price

Food fast, friendly service. Seating 6ft apart and masks encouraged but not required. Staff wearing masks. Tables and menus very clean. Only dislike was chicken was a little dry in sesame chicken and sauce a little too thick for me. My son had orange chicken and loved it :) Portion size very big. Decorated nicely inside.

I recently had the 2-piece fried chicken and fried rice meal from Kim's Kitchen, and it was absolutely fantastic! The chicken was perfectly crunchy on the outside and incredibly moist and tender on the inside — exactly how fried chicken should be. The fried rice was a great side, flavorful and well-seasoned, making the meal feel hearty and satisfying. On top of the great food, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s clear they care about their customers and the community. It’s always a pleasure supporting a local gem like Kim's Kitchen. Highly recommend!

Kim's is a neat spot for fast take-out Chinese food. Love their beef fried rice and their chow mein. Used to get their fried chicken wings back in the day as well. A heads up that Kim's have changed to completely take-out and no dine-in. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can park on either Marshall in the front of the restaurant or in the back parking lot behind the restaurant, just walk through the back door.

Great Chinese restaurant. The wontons are lusciously creamy, like the filling is whipped and extra effort put into making them. I had never seen lemon chicken on a menu before, had to try. Loved it! The garlic chicken is yummy. The fried rice is excellent. The owner Yin served our food, very friendly, excellent service.

Very friendly staff. Excellent Chinese food with great flavor. Big portions. And clean food. Would definitely go again. Family oriented
