Szechuan Garden
FANTASTIC food at a PHENOMENAL price!! Family is SO Nice, restaurant is clean, and the portions were Tremendous!! Had the Honey Chicken and the General Tso's--both were Amazing!! HIGHLY recommend and agree that this business does do much by way of carry out business, (for a clear reason!), so plan accordingly. Hidden gem right in downtown Williamston! Will definitely be back!!!
Nice family run restaurant. Good food. Clean restaurant. Order ahead they might not look busy but the do lots of take out orders.
China Cafe
Food was amazing. Had the cashew chicken and added snow peas. Was so fresh and so many veggies added. Egg rolls were great along with the governors meal and garlic shrimp. Definitely our new favorite Chinese restaurant!
Sunday Was carry out only. š„”š„ Great selection of CHINESE food. Unique dish selections. We ordered the sesame almond chicken, egg rolls, honey mustard chicken, sweet biscuits and crab Rangoon. š¦ Everything was delicious and freshly made.
Lee's Hunan Chinese Restaurant
What a wonderful find this restaurant is! Donāt let the building deter you. The food is delicious and you can tell itās made with love along with years of practice. We tried the dinner for 2 and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of dishes it came with for only $22 with tax. These days itās hard to eat out for one at that price, so you really canāt beat the value. It seemed like the owner was working by himself on a Friday night and our food was still ready for pickup within a half hour which was very impressive. Weāll be back for sure! Thank you Lee
I don't know how it got all the good reviews. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Not only were the dishes tasteless, the meat didn't even taste fresh. The chicken wings and egg rolls must have been deep fried in oil that's years old.
China Garden Restaurant
My favorite take out restaurant! The fried rice and anything bean curd is AMAZING! Also the egg foo young 𤤠they are quick and reasonably priced! Love that you can order online!
Food is absolutely DELICIOUS if I could give it more stars I would. I got sweet and sour pork. It's my favorite and the pork nuggets were crispy, the sweet and sour sauce is nice. The fried is good too!
Chan's Garden
Absolutely delicious, and most importantly authentic! I ordered the Orange Chicken and the sauce was amazing and flavorful, along with the way it had been perfectly cooked. I ordered a hot tea with it which came in a decent sized teapot - it was great for a winter day, along with a cup of their egg drop! Lucky to have this place in St.Joe!
Had to share how great the food and service is at Chanās. My entire family was in town for one night at my home. We ordered a HUGE takeout order - enough to feed 12 people and our family loved it all. The oohs and ahhs about how delicious it all was and how fun it was to taste over 11 different entrees just kept coming. It is definitely a meal I would do again and was worth every penny! Thank you to Chanās for being a special part of our night last night! You were great to work with!
First Wok Chinese Restaurant
I haven't been to a classic sit-down Chinese restaurant in years, it brought back wonderful memories. The service was fantastic, the food was plentiful and delicious. I'm not often in this area, but I'll make a point to return
4.7/5 Stars The service was absolutely excellent! Very fast and helpful. The environment and atmosphere were also excellent. Very clean. The food was amazing and came out fresh and quick also. The only reason it's not a 5 star is that a few of the people I had dine in with didn't not enjoy the food they had ordered. On a side note, this fried rice is the best around, and the portion sizes are HUGE!
Tea Garden
Small restaurant tucked in the corner of a little strip mall. Trendy and clean. Large variety on the menu here available for take out or dine in. There is not a ton of dine in space, most choose to take out anyways. Itās very busy and very very good! Menu has large selection of Appetizers, soups, house signature dishes, and diet dishes. Beef, shrimp, poultry, and vegetable dinners as well as lo mein, fried rice, and mei fun. High chairs and restroom available for dine in customers.
We called to give the restaurant the opportunity to fix, but they wanted the food back which would have been a 40 minute trip. The chicken under the breading was crispy, dry, to the point it scratched the throat and felt like needles. Both my sesame breaded chicken and partner's orange chicken was like this. We ended up throwing away 3/4 of both meals because it was unpleasant to eat. We advise to use a different place if customer service and proper cooking methods are your what you desire. $41 is enough for 2 meals and 1 order of fried dumplings to not get a satisfactory meal. Lady at restaurant was aware I would be leaving my review as meal didn't meet our expectations and her wanting me to dig through the trash and drive 40 minutes to prove my statement wasn't what I call good customer service. She didn't seem bothered she was loosing a customer or leaving them with unhappy experience which should be a warning flag for customers.
My Kitchen
We typically get My Kitchen to go, but chose to eat in this week. The food is amazing! The dry pots are full of variety and flavor. The tweens loved the "slurpy noodles". There was no specific "kids menu" that we saw, but the meals are big enough to split.
I got mapo tofu for takeout here since itās one of my favorite Chinese dishes. This wasnāt as spicy as some renditions Iāve had before, but it tasted fairly authentic and still had some heat. The food quality struck me as being good, and itās cool to find some decent Szechuan food in GR. The place itself is pretty spartan, but people were trickling in. Itās a pretty nondescript place in a strip mall on Eastern, so you wouldnāt really expect Chinese food of this type there, but they donāt disappoint. Give them a try if youāre into Szechuan cuisine.
Chopstick House
This spot is a great combination of price/deliciousness/quantity š. It has a bit of seating inside, but itās mainly a takeout spot. Service was very friendly, especially the guy who brings out the food. He definitely made an impression with his warmth and kindness. The food was pretty good! Iāve been twice and will continue to go back.
Well, I was looking for a place that served sesame chicken and this place got rave reviews. Unfortunately I didnāt like sesame chicken because it was hard to chew and swallow. I hate that because the gentleman at the front is over the top friendly. Now, the spring rolls are delicious and light! š
New China Carry Out (Order Online Available)
Trucker review: Ordered via doordash. The food was hot and fresh. Everything was very tasty š. The steak rice and bourbon chicken were my favorite. Would order again in the future.
The best Chinese in Grand Rapids. I so love the shrimp fried rice... But everything I've ever had from there was good
Gaslight Kitchen Asian Cuisine
Stopped in for an early dinner/late lunch at 3pm. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork, a large serving with plenty of rice, and a Vietnamese coffee. The Sweet & Sour was very good, coffee was too. Service was excellent.
I think each dish my fiancƩ and I ate, we made a positive comment about how something was different from most Chinese places. The amount of veggies, tofu, meat in the soups was awesome. The dumplings and egg rolls had more meat in them than any I've had before and the sauces they came with were perfect to dip in. The sesame chicken was to die for, perfect sauce and flavor, the chicken was tender and the breading held its crisp even with the sauce coating. The chow mein had tender meat and great flavor, the vegetables were cooked amazingly. The service was fantastic, it was quiet when we were there and it almost felt like a private dinner, they even boxed up all our leftovers for us when we were done. The entrees were 15-20$ and were very large and can be shared easily! Overall amazing experience, we live quite far but will be back
Stir Fry Express
We recently got takeout from here for the first time. Everything was very good. We tried the sesame chicken, the noodles, the general tsoās chicken, and crab rangoon. We liked all the vegetables that came with the chicken. Great portion sizes and good prices.
Tasty lunch specials and clean inviting dining area. Cash or check only. No cards or tap pay FYI. Love the fresh veggie stir fry.
