Ultra Spicy House
Tried this place on Uber eats, really enjoyed the beef and veggie hot pot (which is basically a noodle soup that tastes like a Sichuan hot pot). I also got the braised pork over rice which I haven’t tried yet, but looks good. Looking forward to visiting in person sometime.
Hidden gem! Both the dishes I got were great. The only downside is that I asked for extra spicy and that was definitely not extra spicy haha! I got the beef and veggie hot pot with soup and spicy crawfish combo pot. They are super generous with their servings! So much meat, noodles, and veggies in the beef and veggie bowl. I loved how they put a splash of some sesame sauce on top of the bowl, it made it a little creamy. Worth the $11! I’m not sure if the crawfish was frozen or live but it tasted pretty fresh and meaty. Service was friendly, quick and helpful :) definitely will be back.
China Wok
Hello everyone who loves foods and new places to visit for delicious delights. As a customer of this establishment, I appreciate the owners’ commitment in their services to provide both delicious meals and respectful services for their customers. It is important for us to remember to appreciate the value and efforts the staff provide for their communities as they served us for many years to come. As we continue to grow and eventually move on in our daily lives, their establishment will hold a special place in our hearts. The restaurant was a place where you were able to meet someone with appreciation for their food and services in return for their loyal customers’ gratitude. Let us as a community of humble beings from even humble backgrounds continue to shower our appreciation for their hard-earned efforts and services for as long as we can.
This used to be my go to spot. I hadn't been in a few years. We got take out last night and so disappointed. The fried rice had no flavor and was barely even brown. The general gau's chicken had no sauce in it which made it dry. The beef teriyaki was very tough. Crab rangoon, egg roll and chicken fingers were good. Looks like I will stick to Longs in Tewksbury,
Hunan Wok
I ordered the house seafood entree which contains 3 different seafoods and an order of wings for $38. I thought kinda expensive anyway got back to hotel and looked I got plenty of wings however I didn't have any rice for the entree. I called they said rice doesn't come with the entree. What??!!!...I travel the whole east coast for work and all my years of eating Chinese food I have NEVER ordered an entree and they didn't give you AT LEAST white rice.
Food is great when received fresh, they’re done quickly so better to just pick it up in my opinion. I love the crab rangoons, the general tsao’s chicken, the veggie lo mein. The establishment itself is outdated but it adds charm to the place, I love it. Boneless spareribs are great, 😊 highly recommend this place for Chinese
Lake East Restaurant
Eat here at your own risk. Got take out last night to pair with the UFC ppv and got 20% through my steamed chicken and vegetables and found a dead maggot on the chicken. Gave 1 star because I couldn’t give zero
Excellent food, fast and service was extremely pleasant. Will come again.
Yang's
I am not a huge Chinese food fan yet the food was surprisingly good. You get a good amount of food for the price which is also nice. The server, Jen, was very friendly and attentive. The space is not modern and could us some updating. Overall a good experience.
I had s pretty basic chinese food experience here. Nothing was bad just average.
Oxyear foodcourt
Family style authentic Chinese dishes. Great value. The deep-fried whole fish with sweet-and-sour source was really good. Also ordered the pork knuckle.
This is the best Chinese I've had in the immediate area (at least a few mile radius!). I got just the right amount of numbing spice from the fish and it was perfectly fried. I also really enjoyed the string beans and the cold noodles.
Lowell Asian Bakery and Restaurant
Pulled up here for a quick bite. I was not disappointed. Everything was good to the last bite. I did order the spicy chicken wings and I must say they set my mouth on fire, for all the heavy fire breathing spicy food lovers these wings are for you. 🔥
Quiet sunny day, clean tables, great staff, huge portions, great taste. Not chic, but hidden beauty in its simplicity. Highly rated for those desiring authentic Asian cuisine.
New great taste chinese restaurant
This place isn’t really sit down and dine, more of a takeout spot. I recommend getting the order D8; it’s a plate with great amount of portions they really don't leave out! Everything tasted amazing and so full of flavor I’m glad I ate here. The price for a meal that actually fills me up which taste bomb is everything I could ask for in Chinese food.
This place is bombb. It’s about $12 for a plate and it comes with a good amount of food. Got stuffed easily; food was too good. I definitely recommend the plate D8, you wont regret getting food here!
Empire Hunan
I've ordered in the past a family meal and everything was great! I mostly order Chicken or vegetables lo mein and chicken broccoli and even time it very delicious 😋 and fresh. Delivery is fast and personal are friendly. I will recommend it.
Best house rice I’ve had in the area as well as crab Rangoon’s and boneless ribs. I stopped eating chineese food due to it upsetting my stomach but not here! It’s amazinggg. Also very fairly priced can’t wait for. My Thanksgiving order!
Mandarin Lowell
Not a big fan of the chicken teriyaki sticks. They're more of a maple brown sugar flavor... Overall, good food. Good portions. Flavorful rice. Tastes like homemade sweet & sour sauce. Average price for today's economy...
Stopped here for dinner because of reviews and was not disappointed. Everything I had was the best I have had. Especially the house fried rice! My new go to place even if I live in NH.
The Ginger Gourmet
Very nice atmosphere. Service okay but need to ask twice as a reminder. They walk away from the keno machine too often and you miss your game. All the food I ordered was delicious except fried calamari. Looked terrible and smelled fishy. Don't let that sway you from enjoying this resturant. Very nice place and friendly staff.
First visit, the food was decent for American Chinese. The service was great. Nice atmosphere and clean. When it comes to American Chinese it’s hard to impress me, the food is either subpar or decent ha ha. Would definitely visit again as my boyfriend likes this place and the sushi was decent too. If you are in town or passing through I recommend stopping in as I am confident you won’t be disappointed and likely impressed.
China Cuisine
Honestly a mid 4. But! hear me out. I have Americanized Chinese food cravings HARD time to time. today was one of those days. I got the Garlic Beef w/ chicken fingers. I asked for extra garlic, and extra spicy. The hot and sour soup was a nice consistency, and pretty flavorful. I added more chili oil, cause i love a little more punishment. The main, the portions is very healthy. A full plate for sure! Some of the pork fried rice was a little hard, but overall clean tasting, and the oil wasn't super gross. The beef, the sauce and veggies had that extra garlic, and taste great! Really enjoying it. BUT!!! I felt it was kind of light on the actual Beef pieces. I'm usually pretty good about pacing the rice and protein consumption to have a satisfity bite to the end, but this time around I ran out of beef pieces very quickly. The chicken fingers... mmm VERY doughy, but the batter does taste pretty good, and the oil was clean. Came out nicely golden brown, but again the breading overpowered the protein. Seems like a local favorite, tons of locals drop by this Friday afternoon to enjoy a meal with their friends, and the place wasn't packed but popular. Under $15 for lunch, leaving hella full, good value. Oh, and easy parking is a win.
Reasonably priced, large portions for hungry men. Dined on the dining room side. Typical selection of Chinese Japanese fusion cuisine, but chicken curry (my typical test dish) lacked the flavor profile to which I'm accustomed. Service was friendly and quick. Worth another visit, next time to the lounge side hopefully for sushi.
