New Chinese Boys
First time ordering from Chinese Boys. The food was YUMMYš„ !!!!! Hot, Fresh, and Tasty š!!!!! Finally some good Chinese Food!!!!! If youāre craving and want some good authentic Chinese Food, order your food from the Chinese Boys!!!!! Ordered: Orange š Chinken Hot & Spicy š¶ļø Hot & Sour Soup Cheese Wontons Singapore Chow Mai Fun Spicy š¶ļø Will be ordering from Chinese Boys from now on!!!!
Chinese boys has been a staple in our community for so long now. Service is usually always quick, employees are kind, prices are great. I have been coming here for years and usually only get Chinese food from here. My last experience was a little different, but I understand they were busy. The noodles usually arenāt this plain, they usually have much more sauce on them. And I requested white rice but ended up with fried rice. It was fixed on the spot but I thought I was pretty clear about it on the phone. One not so great experience aside, I will be back eventually! Hopefully the woman who is usually there will be back! Update: I went back again tonight and the woman who is usually there was there tonight. I placed my order in person requesting a dinner special with white rice, not fried. What is happening??? This place is NEVER usually like this. Canāt call back now because theyāre closed š Love to support local businesses but this is the third time now that this has happened :(
Lin's Chinese
I feel bad saying this because the girl at the front is really sweet and helpful. But the food is disgusting. They used spaghetti noodles to make lo mein. Their been Schizuan wasn't Schizuan at all. The plain rice tasted off and old. To be honest I was afraid to eat the rest of it. We will not be going again.
Ordered here for the first time in over a year. All I can say is wow. They have vastly improved the quality and experience. I ordered the general tso and the chicken was CRUNCHY, just fresh and delicious! The portions were huge and the pricing was just affordable. I also ordered the eggplant is garlic sauce and it was so darn good. They use the real Chinese eggplant, it was fresh, delicious, and portions enough for two people. I will be back again soon for sure! Thank you
Shimiaodao Yunnan Rice Noodle
The broth was delicious. They served the food very quickly after I placed the order. The ingredients were fresh. The staff were efficient dealing with both new and existing customers. The price was very reasonable. The restaurant was small, but I had no issue finding a table around 6 pm on a Saturday evening.
The restaurant is pretty small and cozy. We ordered seafood and chicken soups. The seafood soup was good, but the chicken soup was ok. The noodles were overcooked, and the chicken pieces had a smell, so I didn't like it. I also ordered fried shrimp and scallion pancakes. Both the appetizers were good. Overall, it is a casual spot for soups and appetizers.
Peter Chang
We had a good dining experience here! The restaurant has a bright and clean atmosphere, and the servers were friendly. They quickly took care of any requests we had, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our group of six ordered Peking duck, dim sum, and sweet and sour chicken, and everything was delicious. The sweet and sour chicken, in particular, stood outāthe batter was light and crispy, the chicken was perfectly sized, and the sauce had an incredible depth of flavor, better than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to. The only thing I wouldnāt recommend is the duck soup that comes with the Peking duckāit had a strong duck aroma that might not be for everyone. Other than that, it was an amazing meal, and we had a great time! Would definitely come back.
If youāre searching for an ayce dim sum spot that is delivering all the hits and some⦠check out Peter Changs! The menu is extensive for an ayce menu and it does not disappoint! We ordered about 18 items and my favorite was the sad cold jelly, shrimp rolls, salt and pepper baby shrimp, sweet potato sesame buns and the grandma noodles. Amongst others but I will I was not a huge fan of the mala beef as the noodles were too soggy for me and the braised pork with rice as it was too sweet! The service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive and prompt to clear the table and take the next round of orders. The servers were also very prompt in ensuring the dishes made it to the right table and they definitely had their system down! The restaurant got packed quickly! A lot of larger groups and families filled the place! They also have an outdoor bar seating area which would be amazing for nice weather!
P.F. Chang's
Our visit was exceptional. This was our 1st time here. Didn't know what to expect. I don't eat much Chinese but my husband does. When our server Angie came to the table she was so recommending. The appetizers came out quickly & so did our dinners. Hot, delicious, not salty, and presented as pretty as it was pictured. Great portions. Angie made our 1st experience excellent. Will definitely be back to try more. All thumbs up.
We did a catering order in the day of for 15. It was spectacular! Everything was perfect, we got everything we needed, from serving utensils to chopsticks and plates and fortune cookies. The food was abundant and delish!! Honest I think 20 or more could eat! Highly recommend.
Double Lucky Star Hong Kong BBQ
I ordered half of the famous imperial concubine chicken at Double Lucky Star, but was extremely disappointed to find that a portion of the leg was missing. The best piece of the chicken leg. This felt deceptive, as I paid for half a chicken and did not receive what I was promised. If youāre charging for a specific portion, you should deliver the full serving! Maybe it was a mistake but if they intentionally took the part out for other purpose then it reflects poorly on the restaurantās integrity. Its a shame because the chicken actually tasted pretty good.
A causal Cantonese Hong Kong style fast food stall with extensive menu and decent prices in a food court of a Chinese supermarket.
Mai Dragon / Mai Dim Sum
Mai Dragon is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area! We absolutely love everything they serve. This time, we tried the dim sum, roasted pork, sesame beef, and duck noodle soupāand it was all AMAZING! The broth in the soup was incredible, full of flavor, and the meat was perfectly cooked, not dry at all. The service was top-notch too; the staff was very attentive and worked hard to make our experience enjoyable. We highly recommend giving them a tryāyou'll love it just as much as we do! The food is authentic, the prices are reasonable, and we even had some delicious leftovers to take home. The atmosphere felt like a cozy family dining experience. Weāll definitely be back soon!
Overall, very pleased with this restaurant. When I first walked in I almost turned around to leave. The look inside was not screaming Great Chinese Food. The atmosphere was just of a large room with tables and chairs. It looked anything but Chinese. But I was hungry and decided to stay. Was I ever glad I did. I ordered the Egg Drop soup and Kung Pao Beef. Both were up there with the most delicious of these dishes Iāve ever had. The meat was so tender it cut with a fork like butter. And the flavors were extraordinary. Iām looking forward to coming back and trying their Dim Sum. Back to the atmosphere, Iām not big on spending lots of money on interior but this place definitely needs some help to make it warm, inviting and Chinese! One last thing, a pet peeve of mine, when they give you the check the suggested tip amounts are based on the food plus tax, though Iād give them the benefit of the doubt and guess they donāt know the machine is doing this⦠I just get the feeling they wouldnāt.
Wing Wah
Walked in and immediately saw the restaurant employee having a great conversation with a happy customer ā so I knew my partner and I were in the right place. We asked for a menu and were given a detailed but not messy menu. She then explained to us how the dinner platters and sides work. It all sounded good to us (almost reminded me of a Chinese restaurant my family and I grew up eating). My partner and I ordered two General Tsoās platter priced nicely, an order of Chicken Lo Mein, and Shrimp Fried Rice. We then asked how long, and were told about 10-15 minutes. We waited in the car for 10 minutes and as I moved to get out of my car, the previously mentioned employee hand delivered it to us in a sturdy container ā very friendly service. Lastly, the food was great. The chicken in the General Tsoās Chicken was superb and the fried rice was pretty great. The only issue I had with the food was the Chicken Lo Mein tasted quite salmon-y. Other than that; they will see me soon.
This place was so good! Weāve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since moving here from NJ, and the food has been so delicious. We got the Pu Pu Platter, beef and broccoli, garlic Parmesan wings, sesame balls, and egg drop soup. The beef and broccoli was cooked really well and the vegetables were really fresh and crisp. The egg drop soup was so good and reminded me of when I was younger getting take out with my family! The Pu Pu platter was a great way to sample a lot of the appetizers and the egg rolls were my favorite. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in silver spring, and the owner was so sweet. :)
Eastern 88 Chinese Restaurant
I got the 4 wings and fried rice combo, and the wings were perfect, super crispy, full of flavor, and not oily at all. I absolutely enjoyed my meal 10/10! The owner was also super friendly, and I love supporting this family-l owned business. Definitely the best Chinese food in the area.
Good customer service. Good carryout. I got basic wings & fries with mumbo sauce and ketchup! It was good. I was satisfied. Also got beef and broccoli was told it was good! I'll be back to try something else. I'll keep y'all posted!š Parking isn't bad. You have options.
Asian Palace
This palace always has the best food and service. Itās tucked away from the busy road in a serene tranquil woodland. Nice place to come unwind and have really great Japanese cuisine.
We have been to Asian Palace several times and we've always enjoyed our visits. Since the pandemic, business seems to be off and on a Saturday evening at about 7:00 p.m., Asian Palace deserve to be a good deal more busy than it actually was. No problem getting a table right away at all. The Chinese entrees we ordered were plentiful tasty and reasonably priced. Service was super-prompt and solid. We did not get sushi on this visit and our overall bill was really quite reasonable particularly given the location. Somehow I believe that if Asian Palace were to relocate to some place with better foot traffic or a better Street front, they would be appreciably busier. Come and discover Asian Palace before they figure that out (Or, ald it would be tragic, before they close)
A Bite of China ä¼č®°ē¾é£
A Bite of China is great if you're looking for comforting Cantonese food in the Rockville area. I enjoyed the flavorful Hainan Chicken & Rice paired with dipping sauces. I havenāt tried other items on the menu. The restaurant itself is casualāgood for a low-key dinner or a meal with friends and family.
I have never ate Chinese food BETTER than this place! A bite of China is the most amazing restaurant I have been too! The food comes in large portions and is not hurtful at all towards your wallet! My family and I were very delighted eating here! I will for sure be coming here in the future! The workers as well are very kind and attentive! If you are having doubts or wondering if you should eat in, you must! It is amazing food I am happy to have eaten!
China Bistro
If you like dumplings then this place is a must try! The variety is incredible from classic pork and chive to more adventurous fillings like fish and cilantro (my favorite!). Each dumpling is perfectly steamed with a chewy wrapper that holds a burst of flavorful filling inside. The skin is just the right thickness, not too thick not too thin, and the fillings are juicy and flavorful without being too greasy. The dipping sauces are also the perfect accompaniment - I usually mix vinegar, soy sauce and add the chili oil (spicy so add cautiously!). The perfect spot for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner with friends. Honestly this is the kind of place youāll crave long after you leave. I always have to come here when Iām in the area! Cannot recommend enough!!
Delicious dumplings...we tried the Mama's and the Shrimp dumplings...loved the Mama's. Also tried Scallion Pancakes and Black Pepper Beef, both were good. Service was friendly. Both orders of Dumplings were huge...I think 10 dumplings each...
