Yi Pin
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Service was great, generous portion sizes, and the food was delicious. One of the dishes was a little bit salty, but it goes well with rice. The spicy tofu dishes here are mouthwatering spicy! Flavorful and spicy, hits that sweet spot on a cold day. Been itching for something hot and spicy, this place hits that spot :)
Spicy and authentic food. My husband (non Chinese) liked the Beef with Black Pepper 黑椒牛. I liked Steamed Sliced Pork Belly in Spicy Garlic Sauce 蒜泥白肉. Kong Pao Chicken 宫保鸡has nice flavor, but it has so many peppercorns that I had to pick them off slowly. Sliced beef & Tofu in Hot Chilly Sauce豆花牛is very spicy. We need to ask for low spicy level next time.
Blessings Carryout
My son found this place one day when we were looking for something different and decent to eat. Within the last two months, my son and I have eaten at Blessings Carryout more than a half a dozen times. I must say that I’m very picky about the food that I eat, but their food is delicious. It’s not far from John Hopkins hospital and right across the street from North East market place… They have a great lunch special menu. Today I got orange chicken with lo mein noodles, and shrimp egg foo yong with fried rice. My son and I shared both dishes and it was delicious as always. All for just $16.50.
Did not like the food at all. Prices are fair, though.
Yuen's Chinese Food Carryout
We came across town to check out the Chinese food here. It was ok. Would I come across town again for it, probably not. But he price was great: we got a beef yat gaw mein, shrimp fried rice, and shrimp egg foo yung for around $20. The area is sketchy, so stay vigilant. Tip: Call and order ahead so you can pick up and go. They are also a cash only business.
Short menu. They only serve what they good at. Always get shrimp fried Yak extra onion extra egg. Try something different tonight and got the beef and broccoli. Was still happy. Egg rolls always hit. Fried Chicken is expensive but it's fire.
Eastern Restaurant
Food is GREAT. I live down the street from this place and get food almost every time I pass it and I switch it up and get different things and they’re all good! Try the half and half tea it’s AMAZING make sure you pay with cash cause there’s apparently a 7 dollar fee for using card
Food is delicious! The crispy spring rolls were crunchy and hot, the hot & sour soup was hearty & the mei fun was freshly prepared! The service is always nice and considerate! I recommend this place!
Alina’s Asian Cuisine
I liked the taste of dishes we ordered! The workmanship of food preparation and cooking was pretty rough. Service was non-existent. It felt like we were neglected. The dining area was very clean.
This place is literally within walking distance from our house, and we're trying it the first time this week!! In my opinion, the food is delicious. We ordered cream cheese wonton and boiled ham dumplings as an appetizer. We split an order of Chicken Lo Mein. Portions are big!!! Like, you can share an order of Lo Mein!! We had out food about 10 minutes after ordering. The waitress was so nice. I willing definitely go again and try another menu item. Plenty of seating, Also!
China Haste
So I orders a chicken and broccoli with no broccoli, extra chicken and sauce with white rice and $1 worth of added shrimp. My wife ordered beef and broccoli with pork fried rice and $1 worth of added shrimp. I opened the chicken with extra sauce and chicken with added shrimp and noticed it was only 3/4 of the way full. I then opened the beef and broccoli and it was filled to the top. I took both meals up to the front and asked why my order wasn’t filled to the top like the beef and broccoli and the answer was because I didn’t get broccoli added in my meal. I asked for extra chicken, sauce and add shrimp. They still turned me away without filling it up to the top. This will be the last time I eat here. I won’t be getting ripped off no longer. Tired of places like this one ripping people off.
Food was fair. I’ve been to other restaurants where the serving was larger. Also it was hard for me to tell if the place was open our not. Furthermore, I don’t think the lady cashier was helpful in my order. Some restaurants offer fried rice with mixed vegetables plus whatever protein but I don’t think she was willing to offer me the mixed vegetables. Anyways, I wanted Chinese food and it was the only one nearby but I think I could have went somewhere else and receive more for my purchase. Maybe next time right…
Lee's Asian Bistro
Was traveling through and stopped for Dinner. This place is wonderful. The service was attentive and helpful and the food was amazing! Highly recommend both General Tso’s chicken and string bean szechuan style. They also gave us a free try of their new chicken ball, which was surprisingly delicious. We look forward to going back.
I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats. The food arrived quickly, but an item was missing. I began by eating one of the vegetable egg rolls. It was so salty I spit it out. The. I tried the chicken lo mein. It too was extremely salty. I called the restaurant and explained to the person who answered my call. They told me because no one else had complained about the Chicken lo mein, that it must be my issue and that there was nothing that they could or would do about it. I attempted to resolve this with bothe Iner Eats as well as directly with Lee’s Asian Bistro. Neither of them were willing to do anything remotely equitable in this situation. My suggestion is that if you want Chinese food in the area, then skip Lee’s Asian Bistro and go somewhere else.
Hibachi Express
Best Crab Rangoon I've had in a long time. Lots of green onion. Good flavor. Hot and Sour soup was a little sweet but it was good. Great service. I'll he back.
Sushi is basic. Just rice and a piece of fish. Not bad, but not my favorite. Good portion and fair price. If you like basic sushi this is good place. I prefer something w/ avocado, crema, etc, but the flavor is good 👍
Kim Wah Restaurant
One best Beef w broccoli I had in a long time!! Very flavorful and quality ingredients.
Best Chinese food in the area in my opinion. Everything is on point and made fast. I love that they have utensils and condiments sitting out for you to decide if you need them or not. Tried their steamed dumplings, they are the best!
Peter's Carryout
The food is okay. The whole inside of the store reeked of weed. When I got home, all the rice in my order also reeked of weed. None of us could finish our order because of the smell. Shameful for the employees to ruin decent food. Not a location I'd ever visit again.
Always very nice and makes great food. Highly recommended!
China Delight
Great prices but the sauces ended up being very very sweet on the chicken and beef lunch specials. Fried rice and lo mein were good but the sauce was definitely a bit of a downer. Very friendly restaurant and inside was very low key.
Very good service. Everyone was nice and kept everyone informed on when your order was ready. I ordered for the first time online. Everything was very easy to use and understand. Plenty of different options to choose from as far as the whole menu was listed and explained in detail on what it comes with and what all the meal is made with. You also have different options for payment. You can pay online or when you pickup your order in the restaurant. Definitely recommend and I will be coming back for more very soon!
Beijing Express Restaurant
Typical pump and dump Chinese food. $11 for a box of rice and some kitchen scraps. Your money will go farther at McDonald’s. Which is where I will go back to for junk food rather than this. Staff is nice. Service is good. Food is even fine. Not worth the money. Grocery store deli is better and cheaper
Our search may finally be over. Today we sampled the cuisine here and were not disappointed. The reviews I have read do not paint a detailed picture, so I figured I’d give you an update. The restaurant is off of the highway making it convenient on your way to/from work. The parking lot and building are somewhat stashed behind other shops though, slightly confusing. The service was good, though they still have the glass window and speaker system architecture in place. (Somewhat hard to hear him speak) I suspect a remaining circumstance of COVID. I ordered the Mongolian beef w/white rice, General Tso’s Chicken w/white rice and the General Tso’s chicken wings w/fried rice. The entree flavors were all delicious and the white rice was average as expected. The chicken wings were small, but I ordered 10 and it actually came with 12. (I suspect to compensate for the size) The only bad note I have for the food is regarding the “fried rice”. It is in fact a yellow rice, likely steamed, and tossed with bean sprouts and onions. It lacks all flavor, and definitely missed the mark for “fried rice”. I will not be ordering this item again. Otherwise all three dishes were ready in 15 minutes, and I got a free shrimp egg roll for ordering over a certain amount. (Egg roll was average, needed duck sauce) My total was $42. Hope this helps, I’ll be revisiting soon!
