Hong Kong Restaurant
What's not to like, good, inexpensive Chinese food. The only gripe is its cash only.
I get takeout from Hong Kong a good bit. GREAT hot and sour soup. It's got tofu and a little chicken, which I love. Great General Tso's chicken and combination to mein. Can't go wrong. The woman who works the register is always really kind. It's a Kent Island gem.
Lin's Chinese Food Carry-Out
Taste good but old shrimp in egg foo young 30 mins ago. Hard like jerky
The food used to be really good here!! Not so much anymore. But lin is always super nice
Hong Kong Restaurant
I only received four of the five things I ordered. Then the sweet and sour chicken had no flavor. The sauce had zero flavor. The Kung Pao I ordered, seems to be a different dish, with more celery & baby corn veggies than chicken and it was very 142057spicy. We ordered the General Tso's spicy and it was zero spice. All in all not good.
Quick cheap Chinese, exactly what I wanted. Not bad at all. The service was friendly. We were hungry after a long day of class and studying and this place came in clutch
China Garden Restaurant
Stopped in here for a quick lunch, and we simply delighted. The waiter was efficient and friendly, the tea was hot, and the Vegetarian Delight was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. (Missing: vegetarian eggrolls.) I only gave it three stars for atmosphere, because they still provide plastic straws at the table, totally unnecessary, they still send carry out food in plastic bags, which should be banned, and I must admit the bathroom was rather unattractive and unwelcoming.
Ordered the Sesame Chicken & Egg Drop Soup. Chicken breading was soggy, no crispy crunch to it; hardly any flavor either. The soup was completely bland and very thick. Very disappointed.
Dumpling District
The service was good, but the dumplings left me feeling gross all day. I got the scallion pancakes, which were good for the first few bites, but as I kept eating it just felt more greasy, and the sauce was overly salty. The soup dumplings seemed good, but they had these fat clumps that would spill out. I’m sure it was fine, but the texture and taste were so unappetizing. For the rest of the day, the flavor was stuck in my mouth and not in a good way. The employees were very nice, it’s worth a try.
Also known as Luna something .. got me twice cause I thought it was a different restaurant and I’m not from the area. Not worth the hr drive to try soup dumplings. On the second visit I tried the pan seared dumplings. The bottoms were totally seared off. They had canned sodas but you had to wait for the boba tea place to open for any water.. and they open later. Bf tried some noodles he didn’t realize would be cracker crispy crunchy .. not a fan. Reminded us of sores ramen. Service was mediocre. If they weren’t so busy on the phones they might have heard him ask for regular pan noodles. Mentioned it after and they were like “ohh yea..” could have fixed it and maybe we’d have come back 🤷🏼♀️
Asian Taste One
Good food at a good price. This is our new go to in the area for Chinese food.
Terrible.....ordered the Red Thai with chicken; the chicken was a texture that no chicken should ever be. Flavor was bland and very artificial. Did not eat the chicken and the little bit of sauce and rice i did eat made me feel sick. Id give a half star if i could. See photo of "Chicken"
Szechuan Wok
Stop in for the maki roll 3 for $13.95. It was ok I ordered eel, spicy shrimp and salmon. My receipt says eel, shrimp and tuna. I am eating it now. The shrimp is ok. The eel I recognize. The other is some type of unidentifiable mix that has something crunchy in it.
I ordered Sweet and Sour shrimp for take-out. I waited in the lobby about 5 to 10 minutes and was amazed how fast my order was fixed since the place was swamped with take-out orders and some people waiting in line. Well as you can see from the photo, the reason my order took very little time was that they BURNT my order - must have had the fryer turned up on HIGH to get orders out as fast as possible. This is my LAST time I will be eating here. Paying over $18 for this? No Thank You !
Sonny Lee's Hunan Taste
Came to this neighbourhood jewel of a Chinese restaurant on Main Street in Reistertown for an early-evening dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and attentive service, good food, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The food is very good and comes in generous portions. Service staff are very friendly and make sure that you are looked after through the entire meal. Plenty of tables and seating inside the restaurant, along with a sushi bar/counter as well. Parking is free in the adjacent lot, shared with a few other businesses. Overall, a great dinner experience. Recommended.
Sunday afternoon lunch with my wife and we decided to come to Hunan Taste. My wife had the Hunan Chicken and I had the Peking Duck. Cooked to perfection and carved right in front of me. Excellent service. The wait staff kept my water glass full and came back several times to make sure all was well with our orders and to see if we needed anything else.
P.F. Chang's
It’s nice restaurant but food wasn’t great as much as we expected it to be. The fried chicken has too much batter and seems it had been double fried. The Mongolian beef and shrimp dumplings are good. However, the teriyaki chicken wasn’t that good. Our server forgot my husband’s beer and it took a while for my sangria to be served. The restaurant wasn’t full but the service during our visit was slow. This will be our last visit to this branch.
Phoenix you were great brother! You honestly were the nicest person in the restaurant. You were also training a new employee while showing exemplary customer service. You are the only reason I’d be coming back! So what days do you work brother? Everyone go see Phoenix!
Fast Wok
Good take out. Good food. Friendly people. I ordered the chicken w black bean sauce and egg roll. Delicious. Wish it was a tiny bit spicier. But some places make their sauce less spicy because I’m sure a lot of people don’t like it too spicy. That was my fault for not asking for it to be spicier. Other than that, It was fresh and delicious. I will definitely order from here again and recommend it if you’re in the area! Also the lunch portion was very big! Definitely worth the money. I spent less than 10 and got a huge portion soda and egg roll. Thank you so much!! Go support local businesses in Baltimore!! Oh and the photo is after I’ve already ate a bunch I’m like full already and this is what’s left over!! Nice portions for sure
I've gone here for years and will never go back. They've screwed up my order the last 3 times. I order ahead and if they're our of something they just change your order instead of asking what you'd actually like in replace of what you've ordered, they chose the replacement dish for you. I don't know if they've changed management but it's not worth wasting money on incorrect food.
Chen's Kitchen
Just stopped there real quick to grab some plain lo mein and it tasted good and looked good. I’ve been to spots that had really bad lo mein and even just fried rice but this spot I can’t put in that list. Nice lil spot. Would come back when I’m back in the area.
I'm thrilled to have found Chen's Kitchen! I frequented my previous go-to Chinese restaurant for nearly *20 years* before they sadly gave their menu a huge overhaul, and removed every single item I used to order. Thankfully, now Chen's Kitchen more than fills that void!! So far, I've sampled their large, scrumptious monk's menu(!!!), crispy eggplant, sesame balls, and veg sushi rolls, and each delicious dish has been consistently tasty! Plus, each order - containing plentiful portions at fair prices - has arrived correctly, promptly, and piping hot, handed off by a kind driver. Bonus, each order has contained a complimentary vegetable spring roll, which I greatly appreciate!! Chen's Kitchen makes my tummy VERY happy. I'm hugely thankful to have found my new go-to, and look forward to supporting this delightful eatery for years to come!
Fortune House
This review is for carry out. Five stars. The Happy Family was delicious, as was the egg roll and fried rice! I’d order here again. I wouldn’t eat in - the atmosphere is clean but seriously lacking in ambience… it’s perfect for take out.
This is our "Go-To" Chinese Food restaurant. We always do pickup because we are close. Food is always ready by the time we get there! Try the Shrimp Toast!
