Very good if you get it fresh. Buffet gets old and you had to ask for fresh food. Food is really good actually after I asked for fresh on buffet. They were very nice and friendly. Overall great !! Would go again.

Bug found in food - gross! Generally I’ve been supportive of our small town Chinese restaurant when others have wrote it off, but tonight that is no longer after finding a bug in my fried rice. Called them back and they made me bring the bug and food in for a refund or a remake. Last time eating at Wah Mei!!

The chicken lo mein is awful. I’m positive that the chicken was (over) boiled without any spices or flavor added. The veggies were weirdly watery and gelatinous (???) which is just revolting. I don’t understand the good reviews calling this “standard American Chinese food” because no. Just no.

Humph..... Trying to decide on my thoughts for this restaurant. I do like the overall look of the inside of the restaurant.. I would have never thought it was going to look that way on the inside . The inside the core is very nice. Now about the food that I purchased. I ordered the lunch special which was the sesame chicken My 2 sides were an egg roll and white rice. The sesame Chicken is decent I guess. I'm more use to sesame chicken having a little more sauce on it. It was a little dry but definitely edible. The white rice was plain as normally is. The egg roll was pretty decent as well. I will go back and try it again to see if this review changes and update it if it does.

Ordered delivery The Sweet and Sour sauce is a straight liquid. It's not saucy, is watered down, and tastes awful. The Sweet and sour chicken tastes frozen The Crab Rangoon was chewy and soft, did not have any good texture or flavor. This is the worst Chinese delivery I have ever had. Second try: crab rangoon still tastes awful

Man. I've never had a bad Rangoon. It was rancid. Like it tasted spoiled. One bite and i spat it out and nearly threw up. Scallops were hard, overcooked and old. You can tell it had been sitting for some time. Only decent thing I had was chicken wings. Please please please do not eat here if you value your stomach. This place would benefit more from being shut down.

Ordered from Door Dash last night. The food was cold, the sesame chicken was so dry and tough it was non edible and parts of it was burnt. So disappointed!

We ordered 2 combination plates. The food was delivered very quickly. The chicken was oddly stringy and got stuck between my teeth in a very unpleasant way. The spicy shrimp plate had 3 or 4 small shrimp with a large amount of vegetables. Although the veggies were good it was sad that the shrimp portion was so....shrimpy. Very odd taste in the fried rice and egg rolls as well. Definitely not the best Chinese takeout restaurant in Lexington. Average at best.

Before this restaurant changed hands, it was by far the best Chinese food in town. It still could be, but the new cook puts way too much salt in the food, even when asked not to. Salt should help bring out flavors, not be the flavor. I still stop in occasionally hoping. Latest visit was much better!! Requested less salt and the request was followed.

A must stop if you are an Asian cuisine enthusiast. We stop here often and have never been let down. I’ll agree the food doesn’t stay consistent, sometimes the spicy bourbon chicken is less or more spicy depending on the day, but that enhances the experience! If the food stayed 100% consistent, I’d get suspicious that their food is prepared off site and frozen.

I have been going to this buffet for 20 years. Unfortunately, the food has really deteriorated over the last year or so. The quality is not good. Could not even eat half of it. Rice was undercooked, egg rolls were soggy and tasteless. Sushi and soup was pretty good. General Tso chicken was so over fried it was inedible. Wish they would fix these issues. Probably not going back.

I’m not sure why some reviews mention nasty cold food and rude employees. I went today (Tuesday, February 18) around 1pm. Everything was stocked on the buffet line, with many dishes being replenished the whole time I was there. It was all piping hot and fresh, the establishment was clean, the service was good and everyone I came into contact with (employee-wise) was very friendly. Sushi was fresh and plentiful. All the food I had (which was probably one or two pieces of everything) was very tasty! Great spot for all you can eat, do come here with realistic expectations though. Will 100% return!

I’ve ordered food here before and everytime it’s been amazing but recently I ordered food for my family and I and I made the mistake of getting the wrong item but believing I ordered the correct one. When I went back and asked if I could get the correct item, Lee explained the error of my order and showed me the correct item that I should have ordered and not only that he made me the correct item and refused to accept my payment for the correct item and insisted I take it and simply return the incorrect item I made the mistake of ordering. Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing owner. Thanks again Lee

Been here a few times & it's been good, but this last visit was disappointing. Ordered the hot & sour soup & against my better judgement the fried scallops. Soup was tasteless & swimming with carrots (which was a new ingredient for me). I couldn't even eat the scallops for fear of food poisoning (even with them being fried) I didn't really expect them to be fresh-fresh, but I didn't expect them to be a brownish color on the inside either.

No tip no service is what the waiter told us when I told manager he said that's how she makes money. I understand if you get tips but it's not mandatory in Kentucky or the US and is up to the customer if we would leave one. We had three drinks she gave us two and rolled her eyes when I asked where the third one was and told me if I don't leave tips I get no service. Everytime we come it's same additude and poor service with the same waiter.

The food was cold, everything had no flavor, cold. The waiter was rushing us to pay the bill when we weren’t done eating. Even the salt and pepper and soy sauce tasted expired. Definitely won’t come again

It is always a quiet low-key place, and there are plenty of choices of entrées and appetizers. I prefer the orange chicken. And I sometimes get the kids meal because it is plenty of food.

I love coming to this Panda Express. The crew knows me even when I order from the drive thru. I have been patiently waiting for the Beyond Orange Chicken.... very flavorful. Of course I got a bowl with white rice, super greens and veggie spring rolls...delicious see you next time.

OK, this restaurant is in a dinky little building but they serve excellent food. Try it!

I didn't go to the restaurant but I got delivery and it took forever and they finally made it here with the wrong food and they had to bring me the right food but it was burnt rice you could not eat it it was the worst lunch ever for 40$ and that was expensive for burnt food and they took back the food so I give it all back because it was not edible.

I really wanted to like this place since it is convenient to where I shop, but my experience was not a good one. The staff are not friendly. The food was not good. The price was fair for the portion size but I actually threw away the hot and sour soup. It tasted like soap. The spring roll was not hot and tasted like one I could buy in the frozen section of Walmart. The beef and broccoli was edible but not good. The whole time I sat and waited for my order, not a word was spoken between the three employees. There was no joking or laughing or thanks for coming. I also noticed how close some of the food was being stored near the trash can. Overall very disappointing. I will not be back.

We have enjoyed eating here a very long time. The egg rolls are a taste above others. This time I tried the mixed vegetables with vegetable fried rice with vegetable egg rolls...( I don't have a picture of the egg rolls, I ate them first lol.) The food was hot and delicious. OMG I cannot forget about the brownies... they were really good

I've been going to or ordering from this restaurant for over 30 years...as long as they have been here, and me and my family love it. Very good! They are very friendly too!

Order dinner from here and it was pretty good, we'll be returning again. They've got all the dishes you would expect to find at a Chinese restaurant. Give them a try I think you'll be delighted you did!
