Great Wall restaurant
I ordered shrimp fried rice…since when did shrimp fried rice become yellow and with no veggies in it? My husband had the kung pao chicken that was super tasteless. I also ordered crab Rangoon which was decent at best. Save yourself the money and go elsewhere.
I'm sorry it took me so long to find it. It's fast and super tasty. Hot and sour soup and a shrimp or egg roll makes a great meal. Shrimp and scallops is a bigger meal and was fantastic. Another trip, the House Special Wonton soup was a meal in itself. Not just wontons but shrimp and some veggies. The container was delicious and Choc full. Great Wall is fast becoming a favorite.
China Buffet
Food was always short. Food was not cooked all the way. The guy that took my money was very rude and through my change at me. Most of the food was not cooked or over cooked. The other employees don't help you find anything. Lots of negatives. Not worth the 20 bucks. Do not go here!
There are no waiters. You have to get drinks yourself. When I got Mellow Yellow, it sprayed all over my hand. It wasn't just coming out of the nozzle, either. Clearly broken. They also want you to clear the table, with buckets nearby that say "Place plates here" and a separate one for utensils. Basically their only options are varieties of chicken and some gross looking seafood. All the different chicken dishes that I got were cold. The rice was cold. The noodles were actually good. For literally 2 extra dollars, you could go to the Hibachi Buffet restaurant in Bowling Green, get served drinks, and have your table cleared for you. Also, I've never had the food be cold there. They can make hibachi plates for you fresh, and they have a sushi bar. Far superior.
Golden Wok
The food here is different compared to other Chinese resturants. There is a sign right when you come in making claims on freshness, and quality and I have to agree. Solid portions and the food is always yummy and quite frankly the best fried rice I have had in a long time!
I decided to try out this Chinese restaurant after seeing some positive reviews, but my experience was far from what I expected. My order was for takeout, and the interaction over the phone should have been my first red flag. The woman taking my order was rude, rushed me through the call, and didn’t even tell me the total—just said it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived to pick up the food, I was shocked to find that the total was $50 for just two meals, which included egg rolls and crab rangoons. That price felt way too high for what we got, but at that point, I was already there and just hoped the food would be worth it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Lo Mein: Extremely disappointing. The noodles were way overcooked, making them mushy, and the dish itself was completely bland—no seasoning, no flavor, just a pile of tasteless noodles. Fried Rice: One of the few redeeming parts of the meal. It had good flavor and was cooked well. Bourbon Chicken: Actually really good. It was flavorful, well-cooked, and had a nice balance of sweetness and smokiness. If anything, this was the highlight of the meal. Crab Rangoons: Just okay. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t great either—about a 6/10. They lacked the rich, creamy filling that makes a great crab rangoon. Egg Rolls: Nothing special. Definitely not worth the inflated price.
Panda Express
Honestly I usually eat here at least once a week, however it’s been about a month since my last visit. Mind you Panda is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. (And had this location given me reason to leave a good review so far I would have) but I’ve had mediocre service everytime I come in. When I arrived not only was the staff as slow as they could be scooping food and cashing customers out (during a 5-6pm rush) also half of the employees in the restaurant were not wearing hear nets. (At first I didn’t care) being a culinary graduate I hated hair nets. But when i got home I found multiple small hairs in my orange chicken and 2 very long black hairs. I most definitely won’t be back.
I go to this location at least once a month and it's been very reliable for the last 2 years but today was the worst plate I've received. The taste was okay kinda bland (maybe it was sitting for a while?). What upset me was I ordered beef and broccoli but they gave me only broccoli and two small pieces of beef.
Red Pepper
Arrived as a party of eight one hour before closing time on a Friday night. Great service. Wonderful food. Comfortable chairs
Placed an order for a couple of guests. First-time visitors to this location and we utilized the delivery service. The service was quick, fast, and most importantly our order was correct. The portion sizes were fair for the price. In addition, the food was still warm upon delivery. All of the orders were made as requested. No complaints and everyone was fine with the service.
China City Buffet
We went for the lunch buffet which was a great deal for everything they offer. Food was overall pretty great. The sushi when we went could have been a little more fresh. Everything else I had was good however. Staff were kind and super quick to provide refills and for clearing the table. Overall pretty good option for a buffet and would recommend.
I was not happy to begin. BAD FOOD The food was subpar. The service was quick. The environment felt lacking. I was not happy with the breaded shrimp still have the poop vein as you can see in the pictures. Chicken was crunchy on the inside felt like chewing leather. Why make ribs if they are going to look like the one in the picture. Just a big no for me. Kroger brand chocolate. I know times are tough but really come on, at 40 dollars for my 3year old, my girlfriend and I, really expected more. It’s chocolate even if you go through a bottle in two days or three 5 dollar bottle shouldn’t be that much of a problem. Even order it in bulk. Only thing that redeemed our dinner was the sushi, it was all I started eating at the end of the meal. I had about 4 plates of it to make sure we got our money’s worth. All in all I will not be back. I know it’s family owned and I wish to not say anything bad but it was not good.
Empire Buffet
This was a referral and it was a shocking experience. After observing the surroundings of the carpet and the seating. The booths were old and needed repair the carpet needed to be cleaned the food was not hot it was not what we were told. The bathrooms were not clean and water on the floor near buffet area huge safety issue. Lastly the menu for the lunch buffet at one price on the menu and when we received our bill it was $2 higher. We will not return.
Dine in on Saturday night during dinner. Have been here almost an hour. Still have not replenished foods that were empty when we arrived. Employees slowly pushing brooms like zombies. Video of the many empty dishes. Asked for a couple items to be filled. The man looked at me then walked away. Potatoes and broccoli way undercooked and still cold. Leaving still hungry with a plate of cold old hard food. Manager did nothing when spoken to about the situation. Go elsewhere!!!!
China Express
Portion sizes is large, but my fried rice tastes and smells very stale, I think from the cooking oil, and my szechuan chicken mostly tastes like hot ketchup. I can see why they had a sign up about no refunds or exchanges from complaints. Also, price I was charged did not match prices online. Still, I hadn't eaten all day, and I'll still probably get 3 meals out of it so I can't say I didn't get my money's worth. Edit: found a wad of yellow paper in the chicken. Low quality is one thing, but non-edibles do not belong in the food. Dropped to 1 star.
I just sent $26 on the worst Chinese food I have EVER had in my life. Ordered the lunch general tso and orange chicken, took one bite and everything went in the trash. I am not sure what it is but everything tastes old. I should have known the food was gross when I walked in and the place looked like a ghost town. No sauces or cutlery either. They even have a sign that says we can’t guarantee you will like our food and no refund. YOU DON’T SAY!!! Would not recommend at all. If i could give zero starts I would.
AA Wok
Late night Chinese cravings and I found this place was open super late. Ordered chicken lo mein, black pepper chicken, general Tso, and an appetizer sampler. Everything was delicious. It’s hard to find good Chinese anymore but I like this place! There are a lot of veggies in the dishes and idk why people are complaining about that! Love it!
Ordered on doordash. Food was solid but I got like 5 pieces of chicken in my chicken with broccoli and like 20 things of broccoli. Not sure if we’ll try it again.
New China Buffet
This is the best Chinese buffet around! They are always bringing fresh new food out. The people that work there are so friendly. You can’t beat the price
My family and friends go there a lot and it's a really good place in the workers here are so very good and nice to everybody. We go there and eat the buffet each time. I have many varieties of food there and my family and I are allergic to shellfish but they still have many different types of food to eat there You would enjoy this a lot they have at least 25 to 30 different types of food to get here plus desserts.
Peking Restaurant
I LOVE this place I don’t understand the bad reviews every time I come here, I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and flavorful even with delivery. My food shows up hot. I have never once had a bad experience with this place. This place has become my go-to Chinese food they have so many options. I usually get the sweet-and-sour chicken and fried rice, chicken is hot and fresh The sweet-and-sour sauce is flavorful tangy sour with sweetness lightly salty. The rice is always fresh and hot perfectly cooked. Food is a great price for the portion sizes of food I always end up with leftovers which are just as good later on, when I’ve gotten takeout, the staff is always so nice and sweet. The restaurant is clean and stocked. I would absolutely recommend this place to people and have already!.
This was the absolute blandest Chicken Fried Rice I have ever seen!!! Not one veggie-no peas, carrots, onions. No egg, and no seasoning! Took me 20 mins to find things I had just to give it some taste! I will never be eating here again!
Jasmine Buffet Hibachi Grill And Sushi
When I come out to eat I don't like being watched and hovered over, and I don't like the sign saying there would be an extra charge if we wasted food. Food overall is good, but the atmosphere makes me not want to come back again.
For two people we paid 31.80 Our soda was too carbonated - asked for a replacement. Never got it. All the food tastes like sugar and garbage. The steak strips were so tough I couldn't chew through them. They tasted like a hardees hamburger that was overcooked and dipped in mop water. The other items we tried were also not good at all. One of our friends threw up because something just didn't sit right on his stomach.
