Every time our family comes to eat here after church it is DELICIOUS! It makes me sad to see some of the negative reviews because we have only ever had exceptional food at China Cook. The staff is always kind and friendly, even when it’s packed (which is every Sunday), and they are constantly wiping and cleaning as soon as a table is free. They pay extra attention to keeping the buffet cleaned and stocked, with hot and fresh food readily available. Never disappointed with this excellent food and service❤️

We got coconut shrimp with broccoli, spicy chicken with lo main, egg rolls, egg drop soup, & spring rolls. This meal cost $50. It was a pick up. First time at this location, but have often ate at another one. They were awesome enough to call us to make sure we had the right location. I appreciated that! We recently moved & they became the closest location to us. Which meant it me they had my info in their system. Since I didn’t get rice with my coconut shrimp, I just got an added side, they felt that wasn’t enough & gave me some spring rolls instead! That was even more appreciated! Everything was DELICIOUS. Hot & just DELICIOUS. I had enough for dinner & plenty for lunch that next day. Love them! We’ll be back thank yall!

In the area and Googled near by Chinese restaurants and we landed here. It has a small dinning area and kinda dimly lit, but there was plenty of space for their buffet. They have a very nice variety of food, more than most. I love Coconut chicken and usually only get it before lunch at most places, but they had it instead of shrimp and it made me a happy man. The hostesses were not very attentive, but there were only two of them. We’ll definitely come back if in the area.

The food is so so good. And everyone is so nice. And in this hong Kong restaurant the food is amazing. I ate a lot and I have tasted many different types of Chinese food. Me and my family loved their food and this buffet is very affordable. My mom is a vegetarian and she had food that can make her happy like the fruits and the noodles and more.

First time here , I've had a lot of Chinese food before , and absolutely hate to be negative , but this was absolutely horrible ! Upon entering , the guy appeared unhappy . I thought he was just having a bad day and did try to be friendly .... Tried to have a nice conversation , and he wouldn't respond . He seemed annoyed , because we couldn't decide what to order . When he brought our food out , I thanked him and he just turned away. That was the best part of the experience ! After taking a bite of the chicken , which really wasn't chicken , I instantly knew I was in trouble . The so called chicken was soft and slimy , along with the clear sauce it came with . I ate the rice , the egg roll was ok , halfway decent because I think it was fried . Would not recommend

We litterally only ever come here because it's next door to the sushi place. It has always been the lowest quality Chinese restaurant in the area, but it was at least tolerable. Today they outdid themselves by useing italian spaghetti noodles as lo mein noodles. To top this insult our fried rice is nothing more than boxed yellow rice that was not even fully cooked. I'll never waste my money here again.

I cannot tell you how much I love this restaurant. I am never disappointed. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. I appreciate the care put in the packaging for my delivery orders. The best place in town to eat at imo. Flavors are always on point!

The food here is awesome. I am tempted to no longer go to buffets and only seek Asain food from this location. I ordered online and did not wait long when I arrived. The food was hot, fresh, and made to order. I spent $10-15 per person. I do want to add that there's not a lot of seating inside, so it is not really a dine in type of place.

It was our first time eating here. They had a lot of different options to pick from, especially the sushi bar. They definitely had more rolls out than other buffets I’ve been to before. All the food was hot and fresh. The staff was super friendly.

Have been wanting to try this Chinese buffet since they opened, and finally got a chance today. It looks like it used to be a Golden Corral a bit on the outside but the inside is really nice and completely remodeled. Everything was very clean and neat and the staff were very friendly and fast. I had my drink offered to be refilled 3 times and it was right at noon on a busy Saturday. I’m very picky so I only tried the fried rice , lo mein, general tso’s chicken, pepper chicken, honey chicken, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls. My son had pretty much every sushi item they had as well. Everything I had was take away or order in quantity and delicious and very fresh. The sushi was prepared in a way that there was only a small amount being put out at any one time so it was always fresh. Pepsi products. Sweet and sour soup and egg drop, a huge desert bar and just a tremendous variety at a great price.

Such a great place! Always fresh and quick for pickup. I come at least here once a week. The inside is very quaint, like you’re invited over for a family dinner.

Food was meh. Decided to try it out since New China is closed on tuesdays… bad idea! Crab Rangoon was so hard looks like it was left over from earlier in the day. The egg fried rice was okay nothing special. We also got pan fried pot stickers/dumplings and they weren’t cooked long enough. Idk where the good reviews are coming from but it wasn’t it for me. Idk how new china has lower ratings and tbh wit food is way better…. Sounds fishy to me.

Very good Chinese food! To start I got the wonton soup and added veggies it was really good and the crisps were good and fresh. I got the Mongolian chicken combo meal that I thought came with egg roll and choice of something else but they didn't bring my egg role because I said wonton but they brought me one at no extra charge. I asked for my chicken. To be spicy and they did a good job of kicking it up a notch. The chicken was super tender and delicious. The fried rice was really good and the egg roll was also good. The fried wontons were different but good. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely visit again.

Maybe one of the best St.Pauls I ever had, and that's saying a lot. It has the perfect amount of salt added at the end. The fried rice is good, too. I come from Stl to Illinois to get it. That's how good it is..

Vin Hoa is definitely a hidden gem in the Midwest. I would recommend this place for those seeking well-seasoned rice dishes and excellent chicken (you only get 3 per order), with the only minor drawback being the crab Rangoon's potential for improvement. They haven’t had dine-in since the pandemic…and always have plenty of parking.

2 out of last 3 times, food tasted burnt, had a friend try it for first time and everything tasted like it was burnt, and at $60 + per visit, not worth the risk to us anymore.

I will give a strong 3.9. We ordered about $60 worth of food. The white rice was very mushy. The fried rice was a little firmer but not by much. We gave them a second chance and ordered a couple days later. The rice was a little better. The noodles we're very good! Everybody can have a bad day so we plan on trying them again.

Man, what more can I say about this joint, fast, prompt service, and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly! Food came out super fast. And it was very hot and fresh! The orange chicken was tender, and the sauce was tasty! Some of the best I've had, and that's my go-to dish, so I should know. Also, a stand-out was the pork fried rice that had a really smoky taste to it, which was awesome! The combination platter was very reasonable, like 10.50 out the door.

I’m an Agebt across the street at Coldwell and China King is a staple for our quick lunches. They are so friendly and a wonderful family owned business that is a staple here in Troy! Attached is a photo of my favorite pick!

I've been ordering food from here for years. Even though there's a revolving door of staff, the building itself looks like it's falling apart and I'd heard rumors about roaches. I still stuck by them bc we always enjoyed our food. But the last several times I've ordered, it's been borderline gross. Food burnt or undercooked. The same meal never tastes the same twice. This time? Found a literal dead roach in my food. It was like pulling teeth to get a refund and they only refunded the meal with the bug after I brought it up to show them. Unfortunately, this is the end for us and China King.

This place was so great I had to write a review for them! My meal was $10 but I added on an order of pot stickers or gyoza as we call them which were $6. They were fabulous!!! My chicken and broccoli meal was so good too….white chicken breast meat! That was a big selling factor as I don’t like fatty or dark meat. The egg roll that came with my combo didn’t disappoint either. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back to try more menu items. The couple seemed very sweet too…and would doesn’t love supporting a family run restaurant?!! *I forgot to take a picture until I was packaging up my leftovers.☺️

Oriental Wok is a hidden gym in a strip mall. I’ve passed it often but it has such a generic presence I’ve never gone in. Today I was dropping packages at UPS and decided to stop in at Orient Wok. First impression walking in was very clean, quiet and organized. There is no table service or fountain soda. The menu is posted outside and inside. Most all meats could come as a combination with choices of fried rice, egg roll, soups, and some other things. A very kind older lady took our order. I had beef pepper steak, fried rice and egg roll. My husband had sweet and sour chicken with no veggies and egg roll. It was ready in 10 minutes and we added two cans of Pepsi products to give with it. The beef was so tender!! Vegetables were crisp. Flavor was excellent. Fried rice didn’t have vegetables but tasted great. The egg roll was fried to perfection my husband put sweet and sour (packets) on his and I used soy. The chicken had large pieces of white meat. He said it was excellent better than he’s ever had before. He fell in love with this quiet unassuming place. Chairs are not the greatest for old, large people. Owner guided us to a different one. Bill was great. 23 total for two people. Are tops required. Not sure. You order at counter, pick up food, and bus your table. However my husband likes the place so much he gave a 25% top to send the message that it was all great.

I was in the mood for Chinese and this is the only option in town. The inside of the restaurant could use a good scrub down cleaning. The food good. I ordered the general chicken. The sauce was really thick and more sugary than I was expecting. The restaurant gave us a free version of chips and dip. The steamed white rice was amazingly delicious. The food prep time was average. I will eat here again.

My husband and I came in for dinner yesterday. We enjoyed our food very much. We use to eat there when we lived in Highland years ago and it was very good then. The service was great. Our server was so very nice and friendly. Very welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely come back. It was worth the drive.
