Lady who takes your order at the front desk is super sweet! I told her I wanted a lunch special chicken & mushroom but they didn’t have it. She quickly accommodated my needs and made it for me! :-) This place makes super delicious food and don’t be afraid to give it all a try! Thank you Bamboo!

No table/seats. Takeout boxes and supplies on the dining hall. Menu photos are fading out. True hall in the wall place. But it does not matter. The food is deliciously prepared and the portions are generous. And it costed me $8.75 for that large platter plus a can of Coke. Can’t complain. We STILL need place like this, especially during this era of inflation. If you are in the town of Clermont, FL and crave the old-fashioned American-Chinese takeout, I highly recommend you to try Bamboo Garden.

I ordered my simple usual dish on a Friday nigh and the wait was approximately 25 minutes for takeout. It was quite packed so I waited outside. The food was quite good but the portion size could have been larger. The fried rice was authentic and flavorful and the chicken and broccoli was incredibly tender. For Chinese fast food, I would recommend this place.

We had this 2 times while visiting the area! Once door dash and once picked up ourselves. Both times were exceptional, very hot and fresh! Cooked to our request and had excellent flavors, not too strong in salt and allowed us to add what we needed. Definitely will miss them and want to try again when we return.

Improvements have certainly been made to this establishment over the years. I recently decided to eat here and I must say I had a great experience. In ordered the beef lo mein and it was cooked perfectly. The rice was cooked good and was soft and the flavors were certainly all there as you would come to expect. I also got the combo with an egg roll which was also fairly good. The customer service was prompt as you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. My food was hot, fresh and I would certainly recommend this place. I’ve heard mixed reviews but I hope my review encourages people to try this place because it seems like they are honestly trying to make good food and I appreciate that. Overall I have had very positive experiences choosing this Chinese food restaurant and will come back again.

When I moved to FL I didn't think I'd find a good chinese fast-food restaurant. This place fulfills my family's cravings. The food is cooked well and tasty. It beats any nearby chinese fast-food and the service is friendly. The cooking and waiting time hasn't been long for the few times I've been here.

5 Stars – I get the General Tso every time at East Wok, and honestly, I think we’re in a committed relationship now. This dish is the crispy, saucy, spicy love story I didn’t know I needed. It’s like every bite is a plot twist I never saw coming—deliciously unpredictable. If you haven’t tried it, you’re clearly missing out on true happiness.

I once lived close to New York City and always loved the New York style Chinese cuisine in NYC’s Chinatown area. East Wok is my favorite local Chinese restaurant. It is the best in my opinion around Tavares, Eustis & Mount Dora area.

I can't do 0 starts, that's why i rated 1 star. I got sesame chicken today... Worst food I've ever had. Chicken was dry, sauce looked like coagulated blood, and the sauce was terrible, it looks that you guys don't care or your cooks don't care (i tried to eat it right after i picked it up) unedible... fried rice overpowered also and way too much soy sauce in it (i threw it away).it is whatever but chinese food, they don't even know what they are doing. I know you get what you pay for but this was extremely ridiculous. Don't waste your time and money going there.

I love this place. Great service wonderful food still as fantastic as I remember. carry out single servings or family style dinners and they still have tiki style cocktails!

I ordered salt baked calamari, and it comes with white rice. It was delicious!

(Sesame chicken with pork fried rice) New Wongs is amazing they really stepped their game up this last time eating there was best meal there yet, its difficult to find good Asian food and New Wongs nails it every time for us !

This is easily the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. From the very first order, everything was perfect. We got sesame chicken, pot stickers, crab Rangoon, egg drop soup, egg rolls, fried rice, and noodles, and every single dish was amazing. The flavors were rich, everything was cooked just right, and the portions were generous. When I picked up the food, it was fresh and piping hot, which is exactly what you want with takeout. On top of that, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. What really impressed me was the consistency. The second time, we decided to have it delivered, and I was expecting the usual drop in quality that happens with some places. But not here. The food arrived just as hot, fresh, and delicious as if I had picked it up myself. Everything tasted just as good as the first time, and nothing was missing or incorrect. It’s hard to find a Chinese restaurant that gets everything right! From the flavor, portion size, freshness, consistency, and great customer service, but this place absolutely delivers. Whether you pick it up or have it brought to your door, you can expect great food every time. This has definitely become my new favorite go-to Chinese restaurant, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing takeout.

We had dinner on Christmas 2024. Place was very busy but staff quickly cleaned a table and sat us. Egg drop soup was amazing. Entrees came out very fast. Staff were incredibly nice. The BEST orange chicken in every way! Highly recommend!!

This has been our “go-to” for Chinese food since we found this little gem! EVERYTHING is perfect! The food is always fresh and tasty and the portions are huge; you WILL have leftovers for take out! Jan and Jason are terrific hosts…very friendly and accommodating! We were amazed that Jan remembered what we ordered after the first visit! She is TRULY amazing! Hopefully, we’ll visit there for MANY years to come!!

Food was inedible, the beef in the Mongolian beef was super fatty, the general Tsos chicken was awful, the egg rolls are slightly doughy and the rice tasted like it had been sitting in a pot way too long, almost more of a pudding. We put it out for the feral cats and they would not eat it.

I ordered 2 wonton soup- broth white and NO flavor, they have been going down hill for some time. I feel like someone bought them or they have a new cook. Time to look for new place. Plus they never opened dining room after Covid- huge disappointment.

Food is really good, however when I scooped my fried rice, there must have been a wire from a scotch brush in the food. I found it as I ate. Be cautious when eating. The food is still delicious as always though.

Very disappointed in having to write this review, but I want to bring awareness to others and hope an inspection will be done. We have been coming here for years. This was our go-to for Chinese take-out until a recent incident. Two completely different meals were ordered and we both found bugs/worms in our food within the first couple of bites. We were in shock and in denial. An immediate call was made to the restaurant to let them know and they kindly offered to make us a new meal, but we declined. They then offered to give us a refund. Both meals were returned and a refund was issued. When we brought back the dishes, a couple employees looked and confirmed they were indeed bugs and apologized. Overall, the restaurant is take-out only/cash only, and the interior is very unkept and dirty with visible spiderwebs and dust.

I got this last Thursday and had to write a review because it was so good, it popped into my mind again. I used to get this restaurant all the time years ago, but had stopped going. I remembered the quality being a little inconsistent. I had a random inkling to try it again and I’m so glad I did. The woman was friendly on the phone and nice when I went to pick up my food too. I am happy to say the food is exactly like I remembered it being. Everything was fresh, piping hot, the chicken was white inside and perfectly crispy and golden brown, and the rice was hot and delicious too. Sauce had great flavor, not too sweet. Thank you for a good meal because I really needed a comfort meal when I ordered it and it did all that it needed to

I get my Chinese food from this restaurant most of the time. They are super fast and super polite , but I was really disappointed in the food today. One of my crab rangoons was empty, just the shell, and you only get a small few as it is. The pork fried rice wasn’t very good. There’s almost no vegetables and almost no pork. I hope they read this and improve the quality. It’s almost just plain fried rice. Otherwise thank you for always having fast service and being polite. Please consider making the rice a better quality.

The food is amazing there. Prepared fresh and they always make special requests that we have. crab Rangoon is so sweet! I havent found it better anywhere else. They have coconut shrimp and french seafood which is something no one else has.
