I used to visit Shree Restaurant many times and really liked their food, especially the variety of vegetarian options. The Soya Tandoori Tikka is amazing! However, I recently tried their buffet, and it was disappointing. They only had 3-4 different curries, rice, and one sweet dish, all of which were below average and cold. I was shocked to be charged $18 for that quality. I usually enjoy their other menu items, but the buffet is not for me. They are also starting to offer non-vegetarian options soon, so it will no longer be an all-veg restaurant. Overall, it’s a great place, but I think the prices should be lower for what they offer.

We visited this restaurant on a late Saturday afternoon when it was fairly busy, but we managed to get a table without any wait. We began our meal with tomato soup, which came with croutons and was reminiscent of the classic Indian tomato soup—creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. Following the soup, we ordered aloo kachori as an appetizer, which turned out to be the highlight of our meal. The kachori was perfectly crunchy, and the accompanying aloo sabzi was cooked to perfection, offering a delightful burst of flavors. We also tried the crispy chili baby corn, which, while decent in taste, didn’t quite live up to its name in terms of crispiness. For the main course, we ordered chole chur chur naan, and we were thoroughly impressed by the naan’s texture and the delicious chole that paired perfectly with it. Additionally, we ordered paneer tikka masala, which was a rich and flavorful curry that brought back memories of the vibrant street food of North India. The aloo kulcha we tried was equally impressive, with its soft, flavorful filling. Despite the restaurant being understaffed with only one waiter and one server for all the tables, the service wasn’t overly slow, which was commendable. To round off our meal, we had a taste of the badam halwa, which was simply delightful. Overall, the restaurant offered good Indian food with some outstanding dishes and decent service. It’s definitely a must-try in the area!

I visited this ramen spot with a friend, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. We both ordered the soup ramen and a cucumber salad. We arrived around 1 PM but didn’t receive our food until 1:40 PM. The total bill came to about $45, which felt steep for what we got. The cucumber salad was underwhelming—just sliced cucumber on lettuce with soy sauce and vinegar. If that’s standard, I wasn’t impressed. The ramen itself lacked flavor and tasted like plain noodles and water. The noodles weren’t even proper ramen but thin spaghetti. The vegetables were fine and cooked well, but the broth was bland and unappetizing. While they provide soy garlic sauce and chili oil, it didn’t salvage the dish. On Google, it shows that they serve vegetarian dishes, but it’s definitely not worth it. Overall, we left disappointed after eating just a bit. Not worth the price, wait, or experience.

The only reason I chose to give this restaurant a two star rating is because of the service. The food was very good. We ordered the chicken fried rice and sushi and it was honestly honestly very good. The service was very poor. The waitress was very rude and didn’t even come by one time to ask us if we need a drink on refills or if our food is good. We asked for a few extra things like sauces, and it seemed like a big hassle for her to have to get us some extra sauce.

Great flavor and menu. Phenomenal appetizers. Does not have a big starch fry selection. Made the mistake of ordering something not on the menu the first time, but was blown away by the appetizers and made a second visit. I forgot to tip on Christmas and will need to make at least a third!

The only thing that was good was the egg rolls. Egg foo young was kinda blackish and stinky and no flavor, the kung pao chicken had a weird flavor maybe like stale oil not sure, the beef had kinda spoiled flavor. Veggies were not crisp fresh but soft like over cooked. Service was super fast delivery. And they added extra packets soy sauce and fortune cookies. Haven’t found a good Chinese or Thai in the Woodridge area but if you do, message me.

I tried Noodles & Company for the first time and had the Roasted Garlic Cream Tortelloni and the cheesy garlic bread. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My one caveat is that I wish the garlic bread was a bit more garlicky. With that being said, the food in general was excellent. I will definitely eat here again.

i didn’t ask for burnt chicken with dry pasta. i usually always go to noodles & co for pasta but this location has to be the worst of them all.

I was looking for somewhere to eat late on a Sunday with my husband and we ended up at Wasabi and loved it! The restaurant looks plain on the outside but the inside is really cute. The service was great and the food was delicious. I got a vegan bento box and there was so much food I had to bring some home. My husband loved his steak hibachi. The worst thing is that I’m from out of town and won’t get to come back soon! Bonus points for delicious vegan options!

This place is absolutely the best sushi in the area! This was our second time here and after discovering it the first time we had to come back. Drinks are excellent as well! Place is always busy so I just recommend planning for that. Mike was our server last time and was amazing! The owner has been working every time we’ve come and always makes sure you have a great time. Can’t say enough good about everything here. Food is top notch & absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to come again next time I visit Chicago.

This was the last time I ordered in this place! Ordered two lunch specials that cost $8.99, They asked me what would you like for side fried rise or steam rise,I asked can I get lo main, sure no problem and they charged me additional 10$ for changing to lo main, and they never stated it’s going to be extra charge. Second even more important Chicken tastes weird,I had a feeling I eat fish. I used many Chinese restaurants but this is not a good one!

Ordered Pan Fried noodles like showed on UBER eats. Received a container of DRYfried thin rice noodles with a container of brothy vegetables and 3 small shrimp. What??? I called uber eats and they won’t refund me and called the store to ask what this was and the “”manager”” was OVERLY RUDE!! He said stop calling here it’s not my problem the picture you saw didn’t match what you received. BUT I went to their business website and they have the same picture Uber eats has. THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!! Will never even bother bringing my family here for dinner. Disgusted

I order from this restaurant all the time as they have very good food! Today the customer service was exceptional!! I don’t normally order my food with eggs and in my rushing I forgot to make note of it when placing my order. The staff went above and beyond my expectations and gave me an order on the house to suit my preferences in spite of it being “my fault” This is a perfect example of excellent customer service! Wishing them many more years of success to service our community- we need more people like this.

Well worth the wait!! Waited an additional 30 min on Christmas Day! But we’ve order from here every Christmas for 11 years and they never disappoint. Our go to’s are: Egg drop soup, Vegetable fried rice Sesame chicken Vegetable egg foo young 🤤

This is the best Chinese food ever. The beef & broccoli is phenomenal. The sesame chicken combo is such a large portion size and delicious. So happy I found Peking when I moved out here from the city.

I live an hour away & 1000/10 would recommend for those who live a little further out and looking for a new spot. Plenty of things to do in the area as well. Hands down the best Asian food I’ve had in a very long time. I’m a sucker for kung pao chicken & it was delicious! The spice level was perfect, spicy but not too spicy has a very nice suttle kick. Dumplings I would highly recommend especially on a nice cold day. Highly recommend & I’ll definitely be returning!

This place has really good crab rangoons and juicy dumplings. I’m from the west coast and these soup dumplings are easy to find but this is the only place that has something similar to that. would recommend if your looking for soup dumplings or even the crab rangoons.

Hands down, one of the BEST lunch specials in / around western suburbs. You get choice of soup , (small) egg roll and entree. Portions were huge! My friend and I got the combo fried rice (nice jumbo pieces of shrimp) and the orange chicken. It was $15 per person including tip and tax The food tasted very fresh. Willl be back for sure.

Mandarin House; absolutely a hidden gem 💎 located across the street from Butterfield Plaza (indefinitely overshadowed by "Hooters" location-wise, what a shame) in a vast complex, this one-of-a-kind Oriental eatery has gained a new loyal customer as of today. I will keep this review concise, as the photos speak volumes; but I must highlight a few points. First and foremost, I must mention the incredible service. Our attendant was extremely attentive, which can feel quite rare at most walk-in eateries nowadays. Other highlights include: all items ordered arrived in a timely manner (and accurate to description), taste exceeded the mark, everything was meticulously clean, 10/10 kid-friendliness rating (lots of open space for navigating across the restaurant with larger parties or young ones in addition to multiple styles of seating arrangement shown in attached video), restrooms just lovely (photo included shows changing table, accessibility signage, etc.). The optimization of floor space was quite impressive. Ornate decor tastefully situated about, with calming, low-volume music set the tone for a relaxing dining experience. The meal itself was truly delicious. Thank you, Mandarin House, for one of the best local dining experiences I've had as of late. See you soon.

I have been coming here for over 12yrs! My go to order has always been, Pan Fried Cantonese Noodles with Vegetables and Shrimp, and The Golden Bowl General fried rice. I also LOVE the egg drop soup!🤗 When you dine in you get tea in the beginning and cookies at the end. The service is always fast and friendly! It's a 10/10 for me! ⭐

Best Chinese Dishes. 👍 My family like the following food which we frequently order the Fried Shrimps, Salt & Pepper smelts fish, Beef with Chinese Broccoli, Chicken fried rice, Fish fillet with Chinese broccoli, Mapo tofu, Mongolian Beef 👍

Kai Sushi 0

This is a one and done for me for Kai Sushi. Definitely not 5 star quality. The quality here has more misses than hits. The black plates and the special orders are why I’m giving them one more star. I would not recommend getting any of the fried stuff like tempura and crab rangoon, they’ve been sitting out too long. The yellow plates are decent. Red and orange are like eh, you can tell they’re not fresh. Service was good. The place was mostly empty when we came for dinner. Prices are expensive for the mediocre quality you receive. You’re honestly better off going to Kitakata Ramen next door. You’ll save money and also get better food. However, if you are in the mood for conveyor belt sushi, I recommend making the trip to Chicago to go to Sushi Plus Rotary in Chinatown, not the Aurora one.

my wife and i came to kai for our second anniversary dinner and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! it’s a cozy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff, and the food was all delicious. we were sitting right next to the sushi chefs and while we couldn’t see them, we could hear them hard at work cranking out fresh rolls to keep up with the demand. there was no shortage of interesting rolls to try, along with a bunch of other appetizer-like pieces, desserts, and a full menu of other options if the rotary belt stuff isn’t your jam. that being said, the belt was super novel and fun, and watching it go around the whole restaurant was a definite first for us. just make sure you use two hands when removing dishes from it 😅
