General Tso's
This was my first time eating at this restaurant the restaurant that was there before had terrible food! so I assume they just changed their name however I decided to stop there today because after I looked at the menu online, I saw that there were several new items and the prices were a little higher so I thought this can’t be the same place - I’m so glad I did!!! The food was Delicious🙂. I got the triple delight with white rice and the fried Rangoon‘s and it was sooooo good!!! Cost me $22 but the portion was very large and worth every penny in my view🙂 Included in that price was the Rangoon’s. I got six fried Rangoon‘s for I believe it was $5.50.I would definitely recommend General Tso’s if you’re looking for a Chinese place with good food. It’s on winters Chapel road - check it out !! Sorry about the pic. I’d already eaten a half of it before I took the picture(lol!)
Im sorry, the food was not good. Other Chinese take away spots are better. Do not order the lo mein lol, it’s not lo mein. It’s spaghetti noodles with veggies and meat. I’m sorry to who owns the place but yall please buy real noodles meant for the dish. Not cheap spaghetti noodles, it’s pretty bad tasting I’m sorry. I don’t really know why there’s so many good reviews but I guess good tasting Chinese take away spots are never really gunna be above 4.2 lol
Nice 2 Meet U Hot Pot 那年遇见自助火锅
Just revisited Nice2MeetU, and now it’s All-You-Can-Eat! Lunch is $24.99, dinner $34.99. Tons of skewer options, fresh plates, and a great mix of veggies and proteins to throw in the pot. They also have a few premium items like duck blood, duck tongue, tender beef, and abalone for a small extra charge, which were all totally worth it. If you’re a hot pot fan, this is a must-try!
So I just went there on a whim. I decided to stop there as I wasn't sure what to have for dinner and was going to drive up and down Buford Highway until I saw something worthwhile. I pulled into the plaza and saw Nice 2 Meet U, and I decided to check it out. Well, I walked in and my first impression was great. It was new, nicely designed and the staff seated me immediately and were very friendly. Since it was my first time, the waitress thoroughly explained my options. I chose the very mild spicy and pork bone broth soups. They were both very tasty and the meats that I was able to select were great, both in the refrigerated meat selection area and the pork and beef delivered to my table. The food was awesome and absolutely delicious! Beef, pork, seafood, and plenty of veggies! I will certainly go back and bring friends too! I hope this place gets popular...but not too popular :)
Wok Provisions - Dunwoody
Fabulous Chinese restaurant located in Dunwoody. Staff beyond friendly and attentive. Food is delicious. We ordered the chili oil fish with large fresh pieces of white fish in a peppercorn sauce. Soup dumplings yummy. Kung pao chicken and shrimp in a savory broth with large shrimps. Would highly recommend. Great lunch menu as well. Will be coming back again and again.
Ordered egg rolls and general tso chicken. The eGg rolls were hot and crispy with a good taste. The general tso chicken was excellent and the serving size was large. Had a choice of steamed or fried rice. If you spend $50 per check they offer a free glass of wine. The service was friendly and efficient. Decor nothing special but was clean.
YGF Malatang 杨国福麻辣烫
Great experience! Simple concept simply pick your ingredients and pay by weight. After your bowl is weighted pick your broth. Super friendly staff that are helpful every step. Your hotpot is brought out and is delicious. For around $15. a very good value.
I recently visited YangGuoFu that it exceeded my expectations. Their bone soup was exceptional—rich, flavorful, and surprisingly healthy. The vegetables and meat were fresh and high-quality! The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. The environment was inviting and comfortable. reasonable prices for such high quality food. It was a great experience, and I can’t wait to come back!
J's Mini HotPot Deluxe
I came here about 10 years ago and enjoyed the experience. Came back for the second time tonight and it did not disappoint. I especially like that you get your own individual pot and so can choose your soup base. The Angus beef was very good. And they have a wide selection on the menu. More expensive than your all you can eat hot pot place is, but better quality food here. Not gourmet but really good.
Some tough love here. The staff is wonderful here. But the food, which this review is about, fell short of expectations. The hot pot selection just did not seem appetizing so we t with the pike bowl with eel, and I love eel sushi. Unfortunately the flavor profile did not come together well, nor did the textures. And the eel itself was too slimy and stretchy and tough. Not all all the sushi quality I expected in a pricey poke bowl. So for me and a stuffed donkey, this one gets no tail wags.
Ten Second Rice Noodle十秒到云南过桥米线
Brand new, sparkling clean place with modern decor. My favorite is the pork soup with sliced beef and the spring rolls. It's yummy and savory. The soup comes out boiling hot and they provide all of the add-ins, the beef which cooks in the broth and of course the noodles. The servers are attentive, friendly and kind. They work together to wait on each table and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll be eating here a lot.
The food was amazing, super authentic. I had the mushroom soup, and it was super fresh and tasty. The only issue was with the staff—they weren’t really respecting customers the way they should. For example, there was no spice on our table, so I asked for some, and they told me to go grab the whole jar myself, which I did. Then 10 minutes later, they came over and said I couldn’t keep it because it was for the whole restaurant—one jar for 20 tables, which was pretty strange. They also just threw the check on the table, which felt really off. I think the manager might need to work on staff training.
BBQ Corner 2
Y'ALL!! If you're ever in Doraville, GA- go to this Cantonese restaurant on Buford Highway. The best seller is the black pepper beef with crispy noodles and it's DELICIOUS! We also got the vegetable curry clay pot with chicken and it was yum yum yum. The portion sizes are big and the food is a great price. The service is fantastic. The restaurant staff is so kind and attentive and give great recommendations.
Absolutely delicious and excellent service. Fair prices in large portions. Very much enjoyed the meal.
Ming's BBQ Doraville
Ordered roast pork but inside included duck. Peking duck we ordered separately didn’t have much meat at all. Owner would not admit their error and overcharged us for the “roast pork”.
My Chinese friend and I looked for places that served authentic Chinese food. They say that Cantonese barbecue is the best here. We ate the dishes my friend ordered, mostly with duck. The food itself was okay, but if I were to order for myself, the menu wasn't easy enough to explain, there was no water, and I had to order soda oolong tea. It would be nice if the English menu was a little more detailed. It is currently under construction as of May 21st, so parking is not easy.
Eastern China Taste At Dunwoody
This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve eaten at. It tastes just like what I’m use to living in New York. They give great customer service and are always friendly and respectful. I’m glad I finally found a Chinese restaurant that’s taste like New York Chinese food (my hometown).
Just finished the best ever dinner! I got spring roll and the shrimp and grilled scallops in brown sauce and not only was the order huge big it was also scrumptious. Staff is friendly food delicious. I’m happy
Gu’s Kitchen
We wanted authentic Chinese food and this place had high reviews so we stopped by. We came in around lunch and it was completely empty. You order through a QR code even though you’re seated at a table. No problem. They charge extra for takeout vs. dine-in, I suppose to offset the cost of containers. If you ask for any other sauce, or sauce on the side instead of mixed in, also extra. We had the Dan Dan Noodles, Spicy Szechuan Chicken Fried Rice, and Spring Rolls. The noodles were flavorful but the beef was so little in quantity that it seemed sprinkled on top as a garnish rather than making it a meat dish. There were also no sesame seeds or sauce, so the noodles were very dry once mixed (see photo). The fried rice was fresh and flavorful, but not double fried, and the spice came only from the red pepper flakes, so nothing special. The spring rolls were small in size, but to be expected. We did feel it was a bit overpriced, but would still come back as the food was not bad, just not perfect.
Absolutely loved this Schezuan restaurant. It doesn't look like much but the food was incredible. The customer service was great, they tended to us very quickly despite having a rush of to go orders come in. The atmosphere is nothing notable but it's clean. The food was flavorful and delicious. We got the Chongqing Spicy Chicken Noodles which had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. I got the smoked pork fried rice. The pork is smoked for 5 hours. You can definitely taste the smoky flavor in the dish and I loved it! This place was a wonderful find and I highly recommend
Food Terminal
The food here is so very, very good. It is worth every penny. Cheese on cheese moving hot plate was top notch! Highly recommend it!! The menu can feel overwhelming, especially if you want something basic (ie. for a kid) but the staff is helpful, friendly, and eager to help! My daughter enjoyed her noodles and broth as well as some bites of the chicken skewers from the appetizer menu. Grab a sticky rice dessert with Mango icecream but be sure to get the coconut milk glaze for it. You fill out your menu requests on a sheet of paper that has the prices. Use the letters and numbers on the menu to order.
My family surprised me for my New Year birthday! This was my first visit and enjoyed the food! The menu was like a magazine!!! This place deserves another visit for sure! May was our server and had a great sense of humor! I had the following… •Roasted salt & pepper Brussel sprouts •Veggie Spring Rolls •Prosperity Salad •Thai Basil Rolling HotPlate
BEST BBQ
This is ABSOLUTELY the BEST CANTONESE authentic dishes ever! Salt & Pepper Calamari, Roast Duck on rice, Bitter melon sliced beef with black beans sauce, Fragrant garlic sauce eggplant! I wish this restaurant was in Columbia South Carolina!
I'm very picky with my Chinese BBQ. Specially my BBQ pork. The meat have to be flavorful and the right crisp. It took me years to fine that perfection👍👍👍. Their duck is very good, too. I can eat their stuff cold and it satisfys my craving every time. I'm surprised I never wrote them a review. They are located in a Asain market which it's closed down. I am just very happy they are still here!!😃
