Dim Sum Heaven
Had a wonderful takeout experience which is pretty funny to think about as I was anxiously waiting ! It smelt amazing inside and I stopped by twice because I loved the menu and the prices. I got rice and chicken congee w brown egg and big fish ball (1) for 15$ and Veggie fried rice that’s enough to feed 2 kids alone for the same price. I’m coming here again for sure !!❤️ The food filled me with joy from the flavors and presentation the food was in, the service was also quick to get me and get me out in a respectable fashion.
First time here and I was with a party of four. Service was excellent. The food was fresh and it was hot. Everything we ordered was flavorful and our entire order was traditional Chinese dishes. I would recommend dining here.
P.F. Chang's
This was my first time visiting this location. My sister took me out for my birthday. The service by Tatiana was great. She was courteous & attentive. Also Frank, the manager was quite amenable allowing us to switch tables and provide great desserts! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to to celebrate with family & friends.
We tried this for the first time and were not disappointed! We were served by a very caring and tentative waitress Trew. She checked on us and she gave great recommendations. Excited to eat here again!
Northern China Eatery
The wait was only 25 minutes on a Friday night. If you’re looking for ambiance this isn’t it. It is truly mom and pop vibes- you’re only there for the food. We were most impressed by the twice cooked pork belly. Soup dumplings were perfect. House fried rice was good but only had 2 shrimp. The pork buns were meh. Service was decent nothing outstanding about it but nothing that would ruin your experience. Will definitely visit again!
I really enjoyed this place and highly recommend!! It's a small hole in the wall vibe tucked away off Buford Highway. The restaurant itself is pretty small with around 15 tables. There is nothing special about the ambiance or decor but that's almost a part of it's hole in the wall charm. Lots of parking, takes a second to find. We went on a Saturday night and it was fully packed with people on the wait list. Even so, we were seated within 20 minutes and our order was taken immediately. Our only issue was while our main dish came out quickly both our appetizers came late and the second appetizer came after we finished our meal. We ordered the spicy chicken, I loveddd the flavor especially with the peppercorn making your mouth tingle. We also got soup dumplings that were delicious as and highly recommend!
New Lan Zhou Noodle
Really great Chinese breakfast made fresh to order. I loved the crispy garlic chive pie dripping with bright green chive oil, the lamb viscera soup, and the danbing with egg and cruller inside. Don’t let the viscera put you off of trying the lamb soup as it’s just a comforting, savory broth with soft, not chewy or gristly bits of lamb. And don’t forget to get dessert next door at Family Baking afterward!
Amazing food stall inside the Doraville Chinatown ran by a hardworking family. The mom speaks with her Tianjing accent and really brought the taste of her home to Atlanta. I had a great $10 breakfast for two here. The chive pies tastes like the ones my mom makes. I really love it! This is one of a kind place in Atlanta
La Juquileña
They offer halal Chinese and Mexican food in one restaurant. Staff were helpful to choose right item. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan. I liked fried rice. They could have cooked chicken more. I would like to try other items.
Great place for family trying to get a Sunday lunch or dinner. Catching up with a friend or even treating yourself. Try the Mongolian beef.
China Kitchen
My husband and I would always choose China Kitchen when eating out at the ATL China Town. The food is tasty and authentic. It is placed inside the China Town food court, which reminds me of a hawker style eatery. I love this place. A few of my posted photos show the food being placed in takeout containers, as I did not order for dine-in in those instances, but if you ask to dine in, the food will be served in proper plates and bowls, or even hot pots, depending on what you order. Please be aware that there is a small add-on fee if you use a credit card. I personally would try to bring cash whenever I come here, but there is an ATM inside the food court as well if you need it.
Atlanta's Chinatown is not quite a Chinatown... It's more of a food court, so don't expect it to be something extravagant (or even close to it) like LA, NY, or SF. That being said, there are some great spots there! I tried out China Kitchen, which is excellent for fast and cheap food! The food is delicious and so inexpensive - everything there is around $10 or less. My favorite dishes I got were the eggplant with garlic sauce, spicy chicken, and salt and pepper fish.
Bamboo Panda
Been on the lookout for a nice little Chinese spot to go to, when I want takeout and glad to say I finally found it. It’s super close to me. The food qualitie is really good. The portioning is really good for the price and they have a all day $10 special. I ordered the sesame chicken and the sweet-and-sour chicken form the daily special. Also, the environment of the restaurant is very clean and customer service is really well. Make sure to get your free keychain really enjoyed having a free item for dining.
ALL FIVE STARS MAN I ORDERED GENERAL TSO AND SEASAME SEED PLATE WITH RAGOONS AND THE PEOPLE WERE NICE AND THE FOOD IS CHEAP BUT TASTE AMAZING THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST SPOT IN ATLANTA AND THE PORTIONS ARE PERFECT!!! THANK YOU FOR NOT LETTING ME DOWN WITH HIGH PRICES AND BAD FOOD 😭🔥
Mint Chinese & Thai Cuisine
It was our first time trying this place. The food is delicious, and they serve HALAL meat and chicken. We ordered thai Basil fried rice, chicken chow mein, hot n sour soup, and hunan beef. Everything was good except hot n sour soup was very tangy. The interior is okay, not a really big place, but they had a large number of to go orders. We went there on Friday evening, and they were short staffed, but they tried to accommodate every guest. Our order went a bit behind. We received our appetizer towards the end. It looks like they recently started serving Halal. Since Atlanta does not have many halal Chinese and Thai restaurants, this made the muslim community try this place. I think they need to hire more people to accommodate more guests so that they won't run behind.
I ordered this deal at my workplace today. Right after taking this picture I was gifted with a sight of cockroach in the food. When called the restaurant they said actually we just had done the roach spray that’s why there are roaches everywhere. Never ever going to eat again from this restaurant…..
Lao Szechuan
I’m happy to finally found a good Chinese restaurant in Atlanta. Clean, spacious, nice interior and delicious food. The Peking Duck is the best I’ve had, better than HK and Beijing. The hot and sour soup also excellent with good flavour. Our waitress suggested we add some rice to go with our dishes. No joke, the rice was good quality, not like most other Chinese restaurant. Overall, highly satisfied! Definitely will be back.
Pleasantly surprised! The main proteins were very yummy. The stir fried veggies and salt/pepper tofu could’ve used more seasoning though and were light on flavor. Also nice to have te’amo inside to get dessert
Top One Gourmet
Never disappoints, food is fresh off the wok and friendly service. Been coming here since 1996. The shrimp noodle soup is very tasty.
Great food even better service. It's located inside the food court of Atlanta Chinatown Mall.
Dagu Rice Noodle (大鼓米线&奶茶.甜品)
This is a hidden gem for the best fried chicken! My wife and I split the Crispy Karagge Chicken. And we're blown away! The skin is crispy perfection and the meat is moist and succulent. Previous times we got the Dagu Rice Noodle Bowl that the restaurant is known for. That's awesome. Go with a group and split something new .. you'll find other hidden gems!
I have been here about 10 times Since they just started business. Sadly I saw them worse and worse. Today is a new low. The beef starter was sliced more than 10mm per piece and so hard to chew. It suppose to be about 3 mm. And they refuse to admit they are lazy today and keep telling me it is always like that. I know they are lying because I have ordered this starter many times. If the manager is reading this, you should work harder on the management. I understand today is new year eve and nobody want to work. But I paid for the food. And I will never be there again.
La Mei Zi Doraville
I came here due to good reviews and was disappointed. Noodles are tough and salty. Popcorn chicken has little meat. Nice staff members in the restaurant, but what happened to their food quality? My mom and I left the restaurant as quickly as possible.
Our first time here, and it did not disappoint. The service was fast and courteous and our dishes came out speedily and hot. Everything met expectations and was delicious. We had the sweet & sour soup, pork in garlic sauce, and Taiwanese fried rice noodle with shrimp, chicken, and beef.
