LanZhou Ramen

This food was outstanding! I mean, so fresh, so flavorful and made with care. I decided to stop by and ordered the spicy beef tendon in chili oil and beef tripe hand pulled noodle soup. Let me tell you, that spicy beef tendon, I can eat a pan of that. It was so delicious, I had to force myself to stop eating them and make room for the soup! It wasn't too spicy, and it had the right amount of heat. Now, I would have preferred mine with more of a kick, but having the heat hit the mouth later was alright. Shortly after receiving this snack, the main event arrived and it was a gargantuan bowl of soup. Man, that broth was perfect on its own, but when I ate it with the noodles, I was truly in food heaven! Those noodles were made to perfection and every ingredient in the bowl literally just made that bowl sing. The perfectly cooked tripe and beef, vegetables and other mix-ins, it was truly sublime. Then I added some vinegar, hot chilis and a sweet tangy sauce in there, which truly elevated that bowl of soup to the next level. Definitely worth the trip and the food is reasonably priced! Make sure to come on an empty stomach because you will truly enjoy the meal and the offerings.

Hand made Ramen noodles… that’s all that is needed to be said. It’s a good little restaurant if you enjoy various Asian noodle cuisines. The dumplings were solid and the service was quick. Definitely recommend this place with friends… maybe not the greatest date location… but it’s a good place to eat! Definitely recommend, fine for the family and good value in the prices.

Oriental Pearl Seafood Restaurant

Consistently delicious, flavorful dim sum. Super efficient service and friendly people. We've enjoyed food here for the last 4 years and keep coming back. Highly recommend.

Had a high expectation for this dim sum place, but the entire dining experience wasn’t that good. The only food tasted good was the porridge. The shrimp dumplings tasted and looked like the frozen food from the factory. When we ask help to refill our tea, the server took the teapot and never come back, since the foods were salty, we ended up getting the teapot by ourselves. The server was rushing us to pay while there were still half of the room with empty seats. Would not come back again.

Hunan Inn

Over priced and bad quality. Spent $70 on takeout Food salty af Crab Ragoon gross Lo mein is just plain noodles no veggies no seasoning Will never eat here again General Tso chicken was ok

Great service, but my General Tso’s tasted like pure flour. Maybe it was just prepped prior to serving but that should have been prepped a few hours earlier. Imagine eating 10 spoonfuls of flour. But very clean environment. I love the presentation and attention to detail. Very prompt, fast service. Excellent value!!! Loved everything else. But General Tso’s was so bad I didn’t want the doggie bag. But my tea, hot & sour soup and crispy noodles were good. The spring roll was a little on the oh no side. I would give them another chance since it was so clean with a cute ambience. I would just pray for a better option.

Hop Shing

At times I have at here several times a week. Honestly I've only had the Large Mongolian chicken/beef. It's a huge portion enough for 3. It's $11.91, Today I decided to try a 10pcs wings and Chicken fried rice, along with my usual Mongolian chicken. Lately it's been a bit spicy but still good. Not sure what happened but I ended up paying $27.09, when I asked for a receipt and explanation the Young lady was very dismissive. She did provide me a receipt for $24.00,she added the fact I had 2 can sodas which were apparently $3.00. This is a much smaller portion than I usually get too. Soo...idk maybe I'll try a new Chinese restaurant in the area next time.

This is not the original Hop Shing that I used to go to years ago. They seem to possibly change management and cooks. Food was bland and lacks the traditional flavor of Chinese style takeout. The fried rice tastes like plain rice with a few vegetables in them. Fried chicken had a stale flavor with no spices that they used to have. Not to mention the sanitation is extremely lacking. Multiple people preparing and cooking food without any safety concerns (ie gloves, hair nets etc.). You might want to check the food score on the wall. I think it was low if you dare to eat here.

Harmony Vegetarian

Pretty blown away by the food here. There’s a huge menu with a large variety from which to choose. I did have some concerns about what was vegan vs vegetarian (because the name is Harmony Vegetarian), but the lady said everything is vegan. I then saw a print out of the ingredients for their desserts, so I’m assuming they get questioned a LOT. After a good 15 minutes or so, I finally narrowed down my order. CURRY POCKETS I was expecting curry puffs, a popular Thai snack that I love. This wasn’t that and I believe that’s why I was disappointed. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what I wanted or expected, and it lacked any standout qualities. Would not order again. SCALLION PANCAKES Perfect; crispy and savory FRIED CRUNCHY CHICKEN WITH PEPPER SALT A small appetizer portion was perfect for me. They were tasty little bite sized pieces, peppered with tiny little jalapeño bits. FRIED SHRIMP You get 6 huge pieces of shrimp! They were delicious. I just needed a legit tartar sauce to accompany them. STRING BEAN SZECHUAN STYLE Quite delicious. I froze these for 2 weeks, and when I got back to STL, thawed and cooked them, they were even better than before! The flavors really set in! BASIL FRIED RICE Good but missing something. Maybe garlic? I also froze this dish and it too was better after the seasonings marinated in. I did add some of their chili crisp, and let me tell you: this ain’t no American chili crisp. It is authentic and full of spice! Pour with caution and control! STIR-FRY NOODLE SINGAPORE STYLE It’s fairly good, but I’ve had better. (Veggie Village in Phoenix, AZ has the best Singapore Noodles in the USA.) GENERAL TSO CHICKEN A nice portioned entree served with broccoli. Crunchy chicken coated in a tangy-sweet sauce. This is Chef Kenny level vegan Asian cuisine. 10/10 would order again! CHINESE DONUTS Look - This is the kind of treat that makes vegans like me return and ask, “Are you sure these are vegan??” Because these taste EXACTLY like the non vegan ones I used to eat decades ago. Like, were the OG Chinese donuts accidentally vegan? If not, why not? It taste exactly the same!! I’m questioning my existence at this point! No, but seriously, I was so obsessed with these donuts that I ate half of them in one sitting, in disbelief of eat bite. Even though I didn’t like some dishes, I absolutely loved everything else. Large portions. Fair prices. Lots of space inside to dine in. Restrooms were clean. Employee was patient and helpful. They’re located in a shopping strip mall complex that houses a multitude of other local Asian-owned businesses, so there’s plenty of parking. I’m not familiar with the ATL area, but I think this is about 20 minutes or so from central Atlanta. They’re open for the holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, and New Year’s Day), so be sure to support them and enjoy some of the best vegan food in the A.

Haven't been here in 20 years. Stopped in for dinner and it's just as delicious as I remember. Must try the curry pockets.

China Hot Pot

Whenever we're craving Chinese food, hotpot is always the best choice. And when we're craving hotpot, China Hot Pot is always the top pick! We ordered the "Half-half Yuan Yang" pot which has one half spicy and the other half herbal broth. The spicy side is authentically flavorful, and the non-spicy side is rich and nourishing. Everything is fresh! The scallion pancakes, red bean cakes, and pumpkin cakes are made fresh and are incredibly delicious! Highly recommended restaurant!

Walked in Greeted Very nice our first time trying HotPot!! Servers man and woman SUPER ATTENTIVE 👌!! FOOD WAS GREAT AND PLACE IS LOVELY 😍 👌. My daughter and myself will be going back. Price super affordable 👌 👍 👏.

Canton House Chinese Restaurant

After 5 years in the U.S., I finally tried Hong Kong-style cuisine for the first time! 🥢🇭🇰 This was also my first time ordering without checking prices—total mystery until the bill arrived. 😂 Here’s what I got: rice noodle rolls, shrimp dumplings, turnip cake, and custard buns. Barbecue Pork Rice Noodle Roll: A tad greasy, but a dash of white vinegar would’ve elevated it. 🤤 Shrimp Dumplings: Absolutely delicious! Definitely a highlight. 😋🦐 Radish Cake: Disappointed there wasn’t soy paste to go with it—missed opportunity. 😔 Egg Yolk Custard Buns: Careful—they’re lava hot! 🥵 Overall, not bad. Recommendation Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dim sum was delicious! We drove 3 and half hours to enjoy this meal! First time visiting and we loved the food here! The service was fast and people were friendly! They explained all the dishes to us and my husband who didn’t have a good experience from the last dim sum we went to in Boston, finally enjoyed dim sum here!! Our favorite is the tofu wrap with some sort of pork and woodear mushrooms in it! Highly recommend it! Go early if you can because we were lucky to find a parking!

Chong Qing Hot Pot

From the time we walked up & ordered our food until the time we were ready to leave & boxed up our food we were satisfied 😋 The lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable. And knew the whole menu inside & out she was also very familiar with the noodles & which dishes paired well with what noodle !! We ordered the seafood hotpot and house fried rice. Both delicious!! The hot pot was brought out to the table & the flame was lit it stayed hot throughout our entire meal. The broth for the hotpot was delicious & didn’t need anything additional. The fried rice serving was large & they were generous with the meats throughout the dish. We WILL be back. The food court was such a nice surprise definitely exceeded expectations.

I’ve loved this place for many, many years now (going on 8 I believe?). My favorites are the seafood hot pot and eggplant with garlic sauce. It’s so amazing! The guy that owns the place looks a lot like my dad so I call him my American dad. Haha! Service is friendly and quick. I recommend paying with cash but they also take credit cards. 10/10 I’m always recommending them to my friends!

1ST Wok Chinese Restaurant

193reviews

I’m so grateful 1st Wok was open on Christmas Day! My DoorDash order didn’t come through because the stupid driver stole the food. So I went to 1st Wok instead to get enough food for my family of 9. They greeted me with kind spirits & were very patient with all my questions. I loved the fried rice & my family really enjoyed the dumplings! The wings were okay I would say maybe 3.5/5 but everything else I would give 5/5! I highly recommend 1st Wok for some good, inexpensive Chinese food :)

We ordered take out form this place and the food was average. I can’t tell which one of these dishes is kung pao kitchen but the restaurant assured me it is. They offered that I bring it back so they would refund but if we are 20 mins away it’s just not worth it. Lesson learnt check your order before leaving the restaurant. Don’t think I will order again from here.

Yummy Spicy

210reviews

Amazing menu, 28 pages long! Nice atmosphere, okay service although they don't understand the concept of an appetizer being ordered first, and should arrive before the entree. We ordered the app, then took time deciding on dinner and it all came at the same time. They forgot to bring the rice with the food but eventually brought it. Food was tasty, correct size proportion, good quality. Good place to eat, with average service.

The dry pots are amazing! Very yummy and authentic Sichuan and Hunan dishes, one of the absolute best in the metro and on par with what you’d find in cities like LA and NY that typically have a lot more authentic Asian and Chinese restaurants. An excellent, no frills spot for really good Chinese food, especially if you like spicy food and some of their dishes are hard to find elsewhere. The menu is huge and I’ve liked everything we ordered here in the many visits over the last year.

Spicy Gaga Duck(鸭货联盟)

I love the snacks from here, about prices like guys come on the prices went up anywhere , people need somehow to make a profit and keep it nice quality, I will come back anyway !

I really like the taste of the food but, it bas gotten more and more expensive over the years to a point that I dont think I would buy frequently. The owner changed but the taste remained the same. Oh. They charge me 3% for using a credit card so… again annoying.

Hawkers Perimeter

Went to Hawkers with a work colleague for dinner. We wanted a fun place where we could share food and catch up. The service was amazing. The weight staff was so hospitable and impressed us with every single interaction. The atmosphere was so fun & creative. The menu options were a combination of classic redefined items and unique new concepts. The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were amazing. We just had an overall wonderful time. Highly recommend this for fun or work. It would be so cool to have a holiday party here!

After living in Singapore for 10 years , we’re always on the lookout for fabulous Asian food. Well, we found it at Hawkers! Fantastic menu with a good variety. The food is flavorful and delicious. We had a great lunch and can’t wait to go back for dinner. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Seriously flavorful food, not your typical boring meal. Can’t wait to go back!
