Will always be my number #1 chinese spot when I come home because every state I've been to does not have anything that gives me quality besides Indianapolis, so it's a hole in the wall and extremely outdated but still going strong.

This place has been there for maybe 40 years and it shows. As I respect the fact the Asian family has operated in the hood, I think the residents and customers deserve decency regarding the experience. First, the food is just ok. Very bland. The quality has plummeted. The shrimp were those mini shrimps you see in shrimp salad. If it was just the food, I would rate it 3 stars. But the cleanliness and in store experience is just appalling. The store is absolutely filthy. I suppose at one point they dont even care, the residents will unfortunately still come. Lights were out. Ceiling fans malfunctioning during 95 degree weather. 1 1/2 chairs. Cash only. An old menu on the wall with dated prices from 10 years ago. Ridiculous

The house tea was delicious. Some of the food was amazing, while some was just alright. The shrimp dumplings, sushi roll, and udon we ordered were fresh and delicious. We did not care for the duck appetizer or the chow mein, which were too greasy.

The sticky dumplings weren’t really my taste, but the rest of the dishes were above average for Chinese cuisine. The place is clean and spacious, even though it is near the art museum so you can enjoy your meal without feeling crowded by others.

Decent quality skewers and love the late business hour. On the pricey end for the amount of food, would still recommend and will revisit. This place is packed even at round mid night. My favorites are the pork belly, xinjian special lamb. The big beef skewer with fat and squid are both good as well. Personally think the big skewers have better quality than the smaller ones. Chicken heart was a bit dry but flavor is still good. Fried rice is alright, was thinking it is a bit bland at first but it pair well with the skewers at the end. Each table was served free sunflower seed to snack on while waiting for our order. And skewers are cooked in the kitchen, so clothes and hair won’t small like bbq and everything was hot when it was served.

This place is a hidden gem in Chicago Chinatown. the food is so tasty and I could never find as delicious as these bbq elsewhere. I came back 2 times during my 3 days visit. They don’t serve alcohol but they let you bring your your own, I wish I knew that at the time. restaurant is usually busy on the weekends or evening , u may need reservations but trust me it is totally worth the trip. They also have another brunch in New York I will definitely go there again in New York.

Dim Sum dinner fun with friends and family in a cool atmosphere with a variety of food choices to please our whole crowd from tried and true traditional dishes to bold new discoveries. The place was packed but service was quick and our food and drinks were tasty and would definitely go back again for another fun experience.

We arrived on a Sunday night, and we had a 30-minute wait with no reservations. The customer service was good even with a slight language barrier. It's a nice traditional spot with a sprinkle of cute Asian influences throughout the restaurant. I ordered the fried noodles and the pork bun. I wasn't a big fan of the pork bun, but I did enjoy the main dish. The portion size is huge and enough to feed 3. It was full of beef and fresh veggies. It actually tasted better the next day. The flavors didn't really activate until it sat in the fridge for a bit. It was the same situation with my friends' veggie fried rice. It lacked flavor on day 1, but on day 2, it was a winner dish.

Recently, I tried a variety of dishes from the Asian menu here, and they were all delicious. The cocktails, in particular, stood out for their quality and reasonable pricing. The atmosphere in the central dining room was enjoyable, but the sections near the entrance and the windows left much to be desired. The area by the windows lacks coziness and borders the kitchen, where there’s a constant view of staff bringing in and out dishes, which detracts from the ambiance. The service was hit-or-miss—some of the waitstaff and seemed a bit grumpy, which was unexpected. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chicago with stunning views of the skyline. While there are definite highlights here, like the food and location, the overall impression could be improved with a few adjustments to service and the interior layout.

This was my 2nd experience here. First time trying Dim Sum. The prices were absolutely amazing and you can really taste a lot with the portion sizes. Add in the Happy Hour discount and you feel like you are robbing them. Simple and direct service - the pork belly was absolutely amazing

Hands down the Best! Chinese Food Spot in Chicago highly Recommend if you haven’t tried

I’m not a fan of this place because I had the shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg fu young and it was very fishy and ended up with food poisoning. They were once so so but now a NO NO restaurant. I hope they get better with their seafood and buy fresh.

Overall, Panda Express has a pretty good track record of good food and good customer service. This is pretty much the same standard that you would get at any other location, which is a good thing compared to some other businesses. Well done for staying consistent!

The food was great, I ordered 2 entree and I got one for free just for doing a online survey, love it

So today we went in and we saw that there was no orange chicken, so we asked how long it would take for more orange chicken. The girl that was talking to us rolled her eyes and mumbled how much longer it would take. Her name is Bella and I think she might be the manager. We then got our food and brought it back and it’s filled around half way instead of to the top. I’m really disappointed because i’ve been here a few times and it’s been fine but today we got Bella and she was super rude.

Food is not great. Any local Chinese restaurant serves much better food, tastes and portions. Their only advantage is they have readily available food for quick serving, which other restaurant will may take 10 minutes. Spending $13 per person, you can get much better food elsewhere.

A Warm and Delicious Escape in the Heart of Chicago This Chinese restaurant near Millennium Park is a true gem, especially on a chilly day. We stopped in to warm up and were blown away by the incredible flavors and comforting atmosphere. The soup was an absolute highlight—rich, flavorful, and exactly what we needed to shake off the cold. Every spoonful felt like a warm hug on a winter day. The rolls were equally impressive—fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. The location is perfect for a meal after exploring Millennium Park, and the service was quick and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy delicious Chinese cuisine in downtown Chicago, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was good. The service was great. The food came Out pretty quickly even when the restaurant seemed pretty busy. Would recommend.

We ate here for the first time on Saturday! Everything tasted so amazing. My favorite was the emerald gyoza and Rama noodles but the crab rangoons was another table favorite. The vibes were good and our waiter was especially friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember his name! I cannot wait to go back and try more things, and some cocktails, they looked so fun. Also - I absentmindedly left my phone on the table and they called my sister (who made the reservation) immediately and got it back right away. Truly made my life so much easier and I really appreciate how they went above and beyond!

Excellent dinner and happy hour spot! We enjoyed the happy hour specials, while everything was very good, the chicken wings were spectacular and worth coming back for alone. The white sangria ($7 during happy hour) was light and refreshing. The brisket chow mein was delicious and a generous portion. Service was quick and attentive. Will return!
