New China Restaurant

My husband and I have been ordering from here for a while and every time, it's AMAZING! Great prices and always packed with delicious food in each container. We love it. Today they brought us a lovely gift with our order. It was soo sweet! This is and always will be our fave Chinese food spot in Tampa!

Not going to lie, the best cheap Chinese food in town. Been ordering for years. I've tried the rest, but New China is always the best!

I really love this Chinese restaurant. The food is always fresh and the staff is amazing… the chicken is amazing also!!!

I would definitely order from here again. I ordered online and didn't see drinks. Called the restaurant and the guy who answered was nice and added them to the order when it came in. Food arrived 30 minutes early. Everything was fresh and well packed. I ordered the bourbon chicken combo, steamed dumplings, shrimp, and pork roll. We killed the dumplings and rolls before the picture...lol. Very amazed by the service and freshness of the food. Definitely favorite place for Chinese food now.

China Garden (Nebraska Ave)

Food to cost ratio is amazing! Very affordable and the food is great takeaway Americanized Chinese food. Do not expect anything fancy. Just a good takeaway option for a meal when you don’t feel like cooking or breaking the bank. Enough portions in one meal to share for 2 people. We ordered $150 dollars worth for about 8 people on Xmas eve and our order was done perfectly and on time.

They're available on DoorDash and GrubHub possibly UberEATS. I dropped the stars from a 5 to a 5 (hahaha you thought I'd change it?? Nope!!) Don't get me wrong food is freshly cooked but they definitely have gotten skimpy skimpy on the cheese steak egg rolls not the same I've been ordering from here for every bit of 18years or I guess it depends on who makes them at the time. This is and has always been an Amazing FAMILY owned and operated restaurant. Even the kids know how to operate the establishment but they will rush your order but always get it right. So know what you want when ordering they are usually super busy especially from dinner rush and late night. The best around locally that I've had. Everything they make is great but I recommend their crab Rangoon, orange chicken, fried dumplings or beef and broccoli also their sweet tea and lemonades. They do have vegetarian options available as well. Also theirs a store in the place for other things if needed. Just South of the Publix on Nebraska Ave.

When I say this place looks ran down but when it come to getting great Chinese food I don’t mind… I love their bbq spare ribs and rice and can’t forget the eggrolls. I think their eggrolls have only cabbage but they are 🔥. This is my go to for Chinese. Nobody does it better.

I decided to try this spot today because a coworker had said the food was really good. When I called to place my order I stated three different times that I did not want vegetables in my fried rice or chicken lo mein because the lady who was taking my order never repeated back the “no vegetables”. I asked if she needed my name, she said no. When I arrived I was the only one there(it’s a drive up spot), I repeated my order. I watched her swipe my card, pick up her cellphone then go to the freezer and scoot whatever was on that silver tray into the freezer with her barehands. When I opened my container…there were vegetables. The bigger ones I was able to pick out but the bean sprouts mixed into my noodles was more of a hassle as well as trying to pick out all the onions, peas and carrots from my rice, after about five minutes I just gave it away. I’m not really sure how the actual food tasted because it’s hard to enjoy something your picking at. Definitely not happy that my food was $9.00 before tip and wasn’t even prepared how I had requested multiple times.

Always well packaged and always taste great from what I have experienced and it always at a decent price I paid 14$ for a wonton soup shrimp roll and chicken wings and pork fried rice. It was very delicious thanks again

I have a new go to takeout place! This is the BEST egg drop soup I have ever had. The eggs were perfectly creamy and a wonderful flavor. The roast pork egg foo young was delicious, as was the gravy that came with it. Portions were hefty, so lots of leftovers!

Good taste

Delicious, so happy this is our local spot. Everything fresh, great portions, exactly what we were looking for. Can't wait to order again and try the other items.

Never in my life have I gotten food so gross. I tried to fix the broccoli in garlic sauce at home, still no good. It tasted like a ginger sauce and not a garlic sauce. The wantons tastes like they were cooked in old oil, and my friends beef and broccoli smelled and tasted like shrimp. I will not go her again. Last time I got just vegetable lo mein, and it was also not good. I figured I'd give it another chance. Never again.

Had a late lunch here and enjoyed the broccoli in garlic sauce, served with a crisp egg roll and piping hot pork fried rice. The garlic sauce was a bit thick, but tasty with just enough spice. While the food was good, the woman taking orders and preparing the food needs to be more friendly. She communicates though plexiglass on a loud microphone and it’s just weird! I ate in and others chose take out. Good choice for the latter.

Food is delicious 😋 and you get a lot for your money 💰 As you can see my son got a full plate and I wasn't expecting that but he ate until he was full and it was delicious 😋

Dragon Express

I had wanted to try this place for a while. We stopped by kinda close to closing after a long day, not knowing if they closed the kitchen or not. When we walked in man taking orders was very nice. Was done in 5 min, Food turned out DELICIOUS and was scorching hot even after driving it home, it was exactly what i was craving. Portion sizes were amazing. I could split my veggie lo mein into 3 meals And my boyfriends sesame chicken dinner combo into 2 meals. Def come here

I frequently get take out here. It doesn't look like much but they cook everything fresh to order and fairly quick. Everything is always good big servings. Very accommodating service.

Yummy House China Bistro Tampa

First time here and we will definitely be back! The huge family-style portions are worth the price, which was still reasonable, and everything came out quick, hot, and delicious!! Many reviews recommended the honey walnut shrimp which did not disappoint. Their Cantonese Eight Treasures was good if you're looking for an almost seafood stew, though ours was mostly tofu, but the sauce was delicious. And their fried rice and fried eggplant were awesome! The space itself was very clean and our server was also very nice!

I love a good dim sum, and being Michelin recommend, how could this be a bad experience? Unlike most places I've been to in the past, they offer dim sum for lunch everyday and not just the weekend. We came on a Saturday afternoon and they were understandably busy. We had to wait about 20min after signing in to the kiosk. After we were seated and ordered drinks, the carts started rolling past our table. This place isn't as large, so they didn't have the variety I'm used to. I didn't see a noodle or vegetable cart l, but we made sure to load up on dumplings. You can also order what you don't see, or something from their full menu. I had to ask for the chicken feet even though he had some on his cart, the look on his face when I asked for some explained why. We had an order of salt and pepper squid and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce for the table. The salt and pepper wasn't as spicy, which allowed him to enjoy it. Everything was really good, even if my soup dumplings were missing most of the soup. She had the best sesame balls in her life, and yes they were that good. We had to wait for them to make another Togo order for us. They were glad I made them take me there as they haven't been in years.

Grand Fortune Restaurant

Spacious restaurant venue with a main dining room and several unexpected private rooms for special events and parties. Alot of effort was put into decorating this venue with interesting lighting and furniture with a large screen with beautiful shots of lovely islands. The service was very friendly, attentive, helpful, and exceptional especially since we were the only two people for lunch at noon on a Thursday afternoon.

We really like the wide variety of options at Grand Fortune. We tried Ginger Scallion Lobster, Salt and Pepper Scallops, Hot and Sour Soup, and Sautéed Mix Seafood. Everything tasted great and came out in a timely fashion. It is a very spacious restaurant with several private rooms available. The service was very friendly and attentive. It was a very enjoyable experience.

China Wok

I had a great experience at this Chinese restaurant! The atmosphere was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Unlike many other Chinese places that can feel a bit sketchy, this one exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend giving it a try—I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I ordered the house fried rice and crispy chicken wings. Also ordered the general tso chicken. I especially like that the place was clean and well kept. Definitely coming back! Keep up the good work.

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen

774reviews

I love Pei Wei and it’s usually my go-to for Asian food. Unfortunately this location wasn’t up to par with the others. :( the vegetable spring rolls tasted frozen and had a weird texture. The crab Rangoon barely had any filling and the wonton wrapper had a weird taste. The honey-seared chicken had a chemically taste that I’ve never tasted before. The staff is so nice, and the location is clean and fully stocked. The food is the only thing lacking, which is so upsetting, especially since it’s $50 to feed 2 people. As convenient as this location is, I don’t think I’ll be back. Hopefully they can fix their food quality.

The cashier was great. We got Kung Pao chicken, orange chicken, chicken teriyaki, and lettuce wraps. The chicken in all the meals was so bad, we couldn't make it through. The lettuce wraps were the only decent part of the meal. Overall, a worse tasting version of panda express, but with a slightly elevated dine in experience, waste of money.
