China Garden Restaurant

Some of the best Chinese I’ve had! Delicious Vegetable Pad Thai but could be much sweeter and more noodles. Had the fried bean curd with mixed vegetables and garlic sauce. The sauce was delicious! Friendly people and open late. Would come here again. They give you these chips that are delicious. However I think they got confused with my order as the chow Mein had no noodles in it?

Doesn’t take card only cash 4 shrimps for $10 platter is ridiculous .. idk if it because I ordered shrimp sticks but how they figure it’s all mine ..

China King Restaurant

115reviews

A nice little Chinese restaurant tucked away in Wilmington. They make your food super fast, even at busy hours during the evening. The people who work here are kind and never mess up your order. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat then order take-out here. If you’re looking for somewhere to dine-in you’re out of luck, as there are NO tables to eat inside this establishment. You will not be disappointed, but you will also not be blown away. Solid Chinese takeout.

Ok I'm going to start with something nice to say. It's clean in there if nothing else. So much so, it was like they were annoyed I came in as the man was mopping the floor and I asked were they still open and she replied "what you want?" I should have turned right around then. Especially since the husband was watching me like a hawk as I tiptoed cross the wet floor attempting not to mess it up. Their food is flavorless for a Chinese place. They act like they're scared to put salt and pepper on your French fries and fried chicken was bland to me. It's JUST not worth it for me to spend my money here and be treated so rude. I feel bad for the ones that don't drive and live in the neighborhood.

King Garden

142reviews

I moved from NY to DE. I was consigned to the fact that I'd never find a good Chinese spot ever again. I WAS HAPPILY WRONG. King Garden is always the best, every time you order food, IT IS ALWAYS GOOD. The flavors are great, the service is great, the staff is friendly, and they make the best dumplings ever!

The food is good! BUT I give them a 1 star because they have ordered $34.90 the menu says 35 and over you get a Free egg roll or soda so I asked for a my Free Soda and the woman said I need to order something else.. I said for 10 cents you cannot gives my free soda.. Then you charge $3. For delivery and ask if I want to leave a tip..I’ve ordered for years like everyone else…. And all for 10 cents my goodness its ridiculous!

Jing Fong Restaurant

250reviews

I find Jing Fong to be a good, local Chinese restaurant for the area. A little basic but I enjoyed the experience overall. They are a hole-in-the-wall family place that is mostly focused on takeout, so there aren't many tables inside. The atmosphere is very basic because of the focus on takeout food as well, but the service is good and they ensured my food was fresh. Their menu isn't that unusual for a Chinese place, focusing on the normal Amero-Chinese cuisine found in most restaurants with the usual suspects. I had an order of General Tso's chicken and shrimp lo mein for my order. The General Tso's chicken was pretty tasty though I found the sauce a little...unusual. Not a bad thing, it's just different from most servings of General's chicken I've had where most I've had there's a nice thick coating of the sauce on the chicken. Here it did flavor the chicken nicely but didn't seem as heavy. The real winner was the shrimp lo mein. The noodles and shrimp were done just right and I probably finished that first before my General's chicken. Overall the food was delicious and the service is good for a local Chinese restaurant, but not a standout from the other places I've been. Great for a quick takeout meal, though.

Good food, fast service. Limited seating as Jing Fong is primarily takeout. They were out of chopsticks during last visit... UPDATE: With their phone constantly ringing and customers coming and going to pick up takeout orders, you can tell the popularity of this small, strip-mall restaurant. And good reason-- the food here is consistently excellent. Their apps range from traditional to creative-- the spicy fried wontons are outstanding. Jing Fong's kitchen is clean, organized and well-staffed. Orders come out quickly and accurately.

China Inn Restaurant

133reviews

China Inn is a typical Chinese food operation with all of the expected options. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is decent. The dumplings are the best thing I have had from there. Overall it's solid.

It's just okay. The fried rice is very light. Mostly rice and not a lot of veggies or meat. The egg roll is thin and not very full. Sweet and sour sour taste good but it's thinner then most other places. My opinion is they are cutting cost and it shows.

Le Shio

743reviews

I recently dined at Le Shio restaurant and was blown away by the fantastic food they offer! From the comforting egg drop soup to the flavorful chicken dumplings soup, every dish was a delight to the taste buds. The spicy tuna roll was a perfect balance of heat and flavor, while the pineapple fried rice and chicken fried rice were both incredibly satisfying. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, I must mention that the utensils were not as clean as I would have liked. However, this small hiccup was overshadowed by the impeccable service and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend Le Shio for anyone looking for delicious Asian cuisine with great service and atmosphere.

The sushi here is really good for its price. Definitely not cheap but a good location nevertheless and has a very welcoming environment. We’ll be back.

Square Garden Chinese Restaurant

-0 The rice is so nasty and mushy. I’m very upset I spent $20 and I was very disappointed!!!! They have good shrimp on a stick.

Hands down the best honey fried chicken & fried rice everrrr👍

Hunan Asian Restaurant (DINE IN +TAKE OUT)

189reviews

Took the my daughters here. Everything was well done. Service was great, and they served the food as soon as it was ready, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Would come back to eat here again.

We ordered 3 entrees and an app last night. First we were surprised to see they only gave us one rice, even though 2 of our meals came with rice. We called to ask, they were quite rude and said they combined the rice into one container. I thought that was weird to assume we would be ok with 1 shared container, considering we ordered 2 separate entrees so would also like our side to be separate. I have never ordered 2 entrees from a restaurant and had the side be combined to the same container. The chicken & broccoli was gross. My son said the chicken looked like worms (it definitely did!) The broccoli tasted like soap. Their portions are also small compared to other local Chinese restaurants. Every time I’ve ordered spring rolls from other places it comes with 2, this place only gives 1. It also contained shrimp, which it does not say on the menu, careful if you have an allergy!! There are so many other better Chinese takeouts in the area, we will definitely never be back.

Southeast Kitchen

We stopped on our way up to New York for a birthday trip. The reviews were really high so I thought it would be a great place to stop. Welp! First off, this is take out only. You can't even walk in, you wait on the steps for your order. You also can only order online per the sign on the window. We still ordered because we had already taken the time to go there. Spring roll was good. Dumplings were good. Chicken Basil was way too greasy and lacked flavor. I had to dump the sauces from the appetizers into it to add flavor. Chicken pad king was OK, my husband said. It wasn't the same as he's had in the past at other Thai restaurants. All in all, appetizers were good, but the main dishes were a bit disappointing for the price.

There is no eat-in. They are probably renovating the place. Like others mentioned, you showed up in front of the restaurant wondering how to get in to order food, there are lines/signs blocking your way entering the restaurant -- feel weird and bad as a customer. And some one came out asking if you were there to pick up order. Then you were told to make an order online. The first time I see how the restaurant is run like this one. :-) The food is ok not too impressive. Hope the business is doing better for both food itself and service. It is a good town/city to visit or stop by.

China House Express

Decent food for low prices 👍🏽🍜 I don’t know how but your food will be ready within 10 minutes ⏰ It’s like they start cooking as they’re taking your order over the phone!! No space inside for dining, which is fine because the building has quite a small footprint and is in need of an update. Order takeout and find a nice place to eat your lunch! Recommend: HOUSE FRIED RICE

First time and won’t be my last. It was very good 👍 and every meal I had a vegetable spring roll, so good 😊

Mimi Teriyaki

168reviews

Amazing food, great portions, good price! The food is fresh and the staff is very kind :)

Chicken teriyaki is very tender, I've had better sauce. Beef teriyaki is ok. Gives A Lot of rice.. not a lot of meat. If you ask for no veggies the meat gets more scarce.

Jasmine Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar

544reviews

Jasmine is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in New Castle County Delaware. The sushi is amazing, awesome restaurant and bar, friendly and quick service, and the drinks are great! Could not recommend this restaurant more!

I've never eaten inside yet, always get to go at least twice a month. They are very precise about your order, I'm vegetarian, so I make sure I give details. They actually called me back to ask if I eat eggs, that was pretty cool. It's a little pricey, but my food has always been fresh. Once I only received 4 pieces of tofu in my pineapple rice, when I told them, my next order was better.
