My first time here... like any other chinese food hit or miss.... HAPPY FAMILY sauce wasn't right.. imatation crab instead of lobster tasted funky and had a spongy texture . EGG ROLL too doughy. PORK FRIED RICE disappointed to much fat and only onion in it... HOWEVER TERIYAKI BEEF STICKS AND CHICKEN TERIYAKI STICKS WERE DELICIOUS GENERAL TSO's CHICKEN WAS AS WELL.. Besides the little miss communicated order wanted combination for happy family so had to go back and buy pork fried rice... Was clean inside and employees very friendly.. I will give them another chance in the future.

Ordered 100 bucks of food, they didn’t give me everything I ordered and when I called back the laddie thought it was funny when I complained about having to drive to there place twice🤦‍♂️

Average Chinese food. The rice was good. The general tso chicken was like a clump of batter, the chicken sticks had a weird taste may be the seasoning or perhaps the freshest.

Work Chinese place ever waited 40 mins when my food was suppose to be done a hour ago it’s always A long line they are slow and can’t do Uber eats at the same time

Never ordering here again. These people are incapable of making a good meal or following directions. I ordered extra sauce on my general tso chicken. I got 7 pieces of chicken all rice no extra sauce it was bone dry. The dumplings were hardly cooked to the point I had to throw them in the toaster oven to make sure they were safe to eat.

Best American style Chinese food in New Haven! We go here regularly and it’s great every time. The owners are so friendly too. Highly recommended!

ZERO STARS!!!!! Extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, arrogant service. The customer is not priority for this horrible excuse of a business. Female host/worker very dismissive and not willing to work with long time customers over order mistakes so they've lost business from here on out. The food was mediocre at best, which must be why I rarely saw more than 2 people in the place at once.

Ordered shrimp with garlic sauce got chicken with garlic sauce. Fried wonton were very hard almost brunt. The rice was good and fries with chicken nuggets were good will not order again. The only good thing besides what I said was fast service and polite delivery person.

I purchased chicken fried rice with boneless chicken and garlic sauce on the side for lunch. I got to work and started to eat my food and after the third bite I noticed a roach in my rice. I will never visit this restaurant ever again 🤢

They were very kind and friendly. It seems people either had a wonderful or terrible experience, which is funny. Mine was wonderful. I couldn't hear well over the phone and they called me back! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and arrived quickly. I especially loved the noodles with sesame sauce, fried chicken wings and chicken gizzards which I hadn't had since my trip down south. I will be ordering again and trying new items.

Place is disgusting. Last month i ordered chicken from here and it was completely red and purple on the inside. This is shrimp rolls with the shit still inside of the shrimp.

This was my first time trying Wa Wah Kitchen. I was hesitant due to all the poor reviews, but my lunch special chicken and broccoli was delicious! The rice left a little to be desired, but the sauce made up for it. This is typical run of the mill American Chinese, but it definitely gets an “A” in my book. My co-workers and I all got different things and everything we tried was delicious. Proximity to my job is important as well, and since this is on the same street, I’ll definitely be ordering again.

The first time we went about 11 a.m. our food was not fully cooked so we threw it in the microwave and it was decent. The portions were healthy for the large dish. Yesterday was my second visit to the Carribean Kitchen and this time I ordered Pepper Steak. There was plenty beans and rice with the steak. There was one slice of Green Pepper and two slices of Red Peppers and barely any Cabbage. I was super disappointed! The food tasted delicious but the portions can stand improvement for the small dish. I also purchased a slice of Chocolate Cake that didn't taste fresh. Try it if you will, seems it may be a little hit or miss spot. I may give it one more try, three strikes are out in a baseball game so it better be a hit should I be I the area and give another try.

I'm originally from NY and my family is from Jamaica, St. Kitts, & Trinidad. I often miss home because there's tons of Jamaican spots there BUT this spot here???? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !!!!! None of them wash their hands or wear gloves. I watched the lady make the cheesy bread with her dirty hands after handling the mouse at their computer, they keypad to pay and my money.

In the last few weeks I had a craving for Dominos, so I revived my old account and placed a large order for our family. Everything was delicous! Arrived hot and fast. Since then we have ordered 3 times. Each time a perfect replication of the last. Everything flavorful and for the price, you can't beat the amount of food you get. Keep up the great work!

Ordered for delivery, website was was easy to use and had options for customization on the orders which was nice. I'm a pretty basic guy when it comes to Chinese food , a guilty as charged boneless BBQ spare rib lover, and I'm always looking for that perfect order. Chasing it like some sort of fever dream. And I have to say this place impressed me, the flavor of the ribs was fantastic. The quality of the meat was great and the cook on the meat was awesome with just the right amount of char and crunch and everything. The pieces of meat come surprisingly large which is a little different but honestly it worked, would absolutely recommend this place. The picture is a little deceiving because I ate like 90% of it, I literally couldn't control myself before snapping a picture. The general tso's chicken, extra spicy, was actually extra spicy and it was actually delicious. Very pleased with this as well. Everything else was also very good.

Service was terrible,Me and my family ordered food for Christmas dinner we called and immediately got yelled at by not one person but two people one a female and one a male.When food arrived a Hour later the food was not good at all very disappointed my family of 9 people that day had so much leftovers that we just threw away because we did not want to eat there not so good food.I honestly think the only reason they are still open is they probably have their family rate them five stars.

In the mood for Chinese until I read all the negative reviews of paying customers getting yelled at. Skipping this one forsure. ✌️ P.s kind of ironic considering the name. If they changed the name to the "yelling Chinese food" it would probably be a hit, but with the word "blessing" in the name and they way they act this is a curse at this point.
