New Hunan Kitchen
We've ordered food here a few times and we've enjoyed it. It's definitely Americanized Chinese food, so keep that in mind. My partner is Chinese-American and he enjoys it too. They have great service and are friendly. We have ordered sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, bbq pork, pork fried rice, fried shrimp, sesame beef, and pot stickers. If ordering to go, I recommend asking for sauces on the side, especially for the lemon chicken. They thoughtfully package their food to release steam so food stays crunchy. Really appreciate that! We did have one batch of dried out chicken once but that was out of our typical experience. One thing to try for sure is their concoction of spicy mustard with sweet and sour sauce which came with our bbq pork... We dipped everything in it. It's genius. Leftovers for days!
Update: we went late at around 8:30 pm April 2023 and ordered food to go. To our surprise the prices have gone up drastically and we paid around $70 for dry flavorless food. We only ordered 4 plates but most of it ended up in the trash, the portions were smaller than I remembered, certain parts had big chunks of salt while the noodles had absolutely no flavor. The orange chicken was less than desirable, the recipe has been changed and sauce tastes artificial . Overall my family was very disappointed with our dinner selection. We were in the neighborhood not knowing what to eat for lunch, and pick the first spot we saw in the area, so happy to have found this little place. We placed the order in person, food was ready within 15 mins, we tried 5 items, not too greasy, very flavorful, it ended up being so much food. I’m usually skeptical about Chinese food but we really enjoyed everything.
P.F. Chang's
Great dinner experience. Perfect for date night. I loved my Korean BBQ, with a side of garlic green beans. My bf liked his beef and broccoli and the shrimp fried rice. We enjoyed the ambiance, and the great service. Shout out to our server Edgar, he was awesome.
Authentic Chinese cuisine with great service. Food ordered: Chang's Spicy Chicken, Tofu Signature Lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, Pomegranate Lemonade, Lemonade
Asian Kitchen Grill
A Couple that are as charming as the cat charm that greets you walking into a very charming atmosphere proven by local artist's art on the walls (special human touch). My lady and I shared a 2 Entree, 1 Side Order (Beef (Sesame Beef) and Chicken Entree (Teriyaki Chicken) with half Fried Rice-half chow mein) with $2 for Extra Vegetables. The food inspires thoughts of fresh, filling, not too oily, fair. Everything matches attention to good, clean details, even the bathroom. We'll done. The only downside to atmosphere is there isn't enough business/traffic: they definitely deserve the interactive business -tkogalaxyblue
Love this place! Friendly family owned local Chinese spot. You can make your own mix of ingredients for a delicious stir fry plate or pick from the many options. I am pretty basic so my favorite is the chicken fried rice with no veggies. Veggies are peas, carrots and corn. I'm just not a fan of peas. I've tried bourbon chicken, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. My partner has had general tso chicken. We also had pot stickers. Everything has been very tasty. Flavorful and affordable. Great spot to eat or take out. Try it, you won't regret it.
Szechuan Garden Chinese Restaurant
My favorite Chinese restaurant! I’ve been here countless times, and they never disappoint. My favorites are the fried rice, string beans, snow pea leaves, Mapo Tofu and Dan Dan noodles—so good that I order them every time! Everything on the menu is delicious, though, and their spicy dishes are truly spicy, which I love. The portions are served family-style, true to Chinese tradition, so I almost always end up with leftovers to take home.
This restaurant is next to one of my favorite Asian grocery stores, the Can Tho market. After shopping at the market I decided to grab some fried rice to-go from this place to check it out. Huge portion which was nice. The rice was well cooked, and overall was ok, but nothing exciting. Still, I’ll be back to try some of their other menu items. To the genius reviewers complaining that there was a hole in the lid of their container... they do this on purpose because they want the food to remain crispy on your drive home. This lets the steam out instead of soaking your fried coating and making a soggy mess. Ah don't you feel a little silly now don't you?
Noodle Dynasty
Delicious food! Fast service. Sizeable portions. Big menu. Recommend the hand pulled braided beef noodle soup, hand pulled spicy chicken noodles, and green beans. Was not a fan of the soup dumplings. Would come back to try their other soups!
Still impressed by the huge portion when the food showed up. Great flavor and the noodles were definitely fresh and handmade. We set at the bar listening to wide variety of music (Chinese, Cantonese, English…) kind of loud but very interesting selection. Will want to come back to try other things.
duck delights
A little no frills place serving very delicious cantonese style roasted pork-belly, bbq pork, duck and steamed chicken. I had the pork-belly and roasted duck, both of which were generous portions and delicious! only wished the meats were warmer but perfectly cooked! Great value, highly recommend!
Well.... I've had duck, even cooked myself that was MUCH better than this. It came out of their warming case out front. It was luke warm at best and honestly taste like it was rancid. The Pork belly was pretty tasty but I really couldn't enjoy it with the thought in my mind that the other meat was spoiled.. it may not have been, but it sure didn't taste right. People are friendly, restaurant seems pretty dirty too... gave it a try and this one is a NO from me..
Chang's Mongolian Grill
Taste great! Service was very kind and food cooks fast. Decent selection of vegetables, wish they had a better selection of noodles. You can get ice cream once you’re done!
Always excellent food for the past ten years we’ve been going there. The service is great and you get ice cream afterwards as part of the meal. You also get soup. Your meal liking will depend what you put together and the sauce items. Enjoy yourself if you go. Highly recommend!
Taste Of Sichuan
Miss this place 😔 famously AWFUL service 🤣🤣😭 but the food was the best Chinese around without driving all the way out to 82nd. Newly revamped Hometown Taste a few miles away is *almost* as good with a much smaller menu though, but much better service also. Good alternative to check out! If Taste of Sichuan ever returns, I will be so happy 😊🥺
This Chinese restaurant is the best. I’m constantly searching for the perfect moo goo gai pan and I found it here at Taste of Sichuan. The place gets crowded at dinner time but service is fast and the staff are attentive. The food here is delicious and I can’t wait to try their other dishes. By the way their steamed rice is cooked perfectly as well. 7/16/23 Tried their lunch special, it was very good with generous portions and came with a soup when you eat in.
Stir Crazy Kitchen
There was a ROCK in my General Tso chicken. I chipped my tooth from a very substantial size rock in my chicken. I HAVE NEVER had anything like this. The food was not bad tasting but you can guarantee i will NEVER eat or recommend this place to a single soul. My mind is blown and they are lucky I do not sue for Dental services that I will be attending to.
I visited this restaurant a year ago and remember the food being much better. This time, it didn’t live up to those expectations. We ordered the Mongolian beef, house special chicken, shrimp fried rice, and jjampong. The house special chicken was okay, but I wish it had been served warmer. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The Mongolian beef was overly salty, and the jjampong had an unpleasant smell, with noodles that were too thin and had more of a soba-like texture, which didn’t work for the dish at all. The shrimp fried rice was also excessively greasy. Overall, the flavors were completely different from what I enjoyed a year ago. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but I left feeling disappointed.
East Harbor Restaurant
We love this place the food taste so good. My husband travel to china for business trip. And he think this restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurants.
Veggie dishes were very over cooked, really bad. We got broccoli and only received stems and some sort of bitter leaves. A super disappointing meal order!
Szechuan House
First time trying this place & we were not disappointed!! We have a go-to place on the East side but have yet to find something comparable since we moved over to this side of town. This place is definitely our new favorite & we will be back!! The lady was very nice, not only to us but also the other 2 tables seated in the restaurant. The food was quick, fresh & so delicious!! Very generous portions, we ate our fill & still had plenty leftover for dinner.
Great food cooked to order every single time. The owner is always ready to greet you in to her restaurant. Update first time I try sesame chicken and let me tell you the it doesn't disappoint. Very fresh and served hot of the wok.
Noodle Man
Thr Noodle Man is located in a nice area with lots of safe parking. Making a to go order via walk-in was quick and painless. Our meals were made quickly and were both very delicious! Friendly service and decent prices.
Surprisingly enough, the food was good for a small place. Their menu is very limited to soups and fried noodles, and a few appetizers. However, they do specialized in their hot soups. It wasn't the place we had in mind that night for dining. We ended up here trying to get out of the traffic rush hour on the freeway. And we made the right choice! I love the Pork belly noodle soup. The broth alone was phenomenal. My husband had the chicken noodle soup. And we ordered an extra order of pork belly and beans chow mein. It was a fantastic dinner. It's a definitely our new go-to place for hot soups!
