Chinese Restaurant

Food and service was top notch. My wife and I brought in our two toddlers who made a mess eating their chicken fried rice around 3pm on Saturday. We were seated quickly and it was slow enough that the restaurant was quiet. Staff were friendly with our kiddos and they were understanding that toddlers are toddlers haha. Family of 4 comes to a cost of $40 before tip! Here's some photos of the food!

We love coming to this place. Everything is always hot, fresh, super quick, and filling. They also had an amazing lunch deal before 3pm this Sunday.

Our 2nd time eating here. Just as good as the 1st! We started with crispy spring rolls. I had my favorite, Mongolian Beef (the dinner portion, not the lunch special). My wife had Bbq pork & dumpling noodle soup. I had more than I could eat, so.. leftovers! The soup was loaded with big dumplings! Yummy!

Awesome rice noodles with seafood and veggies! Mom had the pork with 4 pieces of broccoli (that was a bit undercooked), and my guy had a lunch special that had bland rice but the veggies and meat were great. All in all, we were glad we stopped and the portions were large enough for us ladies to have 2 meals.

The food here was amazing! I was a bit skeptical because of reviews, but the food was phenomenal! It was crisp and fresh and everything tasted different They put sauce on the side so it didn't get mushy (we ordered door dash, which actually took 1.5hrs because there was no dasher available) and the food was delicious and fresh. I can't recommend highly enough. We've tried at least 10 local Chinese places, and we will never order anywhere else again. This is THE place. Thanks Wally's!

The best Chinese takeout that I’ve had in years. I drive by this place all the time because I live in a nearby town. So sorry I haven’t stopped in sooner. The shrimp was distinctly different and better than the shrimp from competitors in my hometown. The vegetables were cooked so crisp better than any other takeout that I have had. Great food!

We've been eating here for a long time. It's been consistently good, and the portions are healthy. There are lots to choose from off the menu, and they also offer specials such as their homemade noodles. I love their wontons in spicy chili oil and soups, too. Staff is always friendly. They have a parking lot and video poker in the back room. I'm glad that they are still around after the pandemic.

Exceptional Chinese food— brought back great memories from my childhood. Been looking forward to eating here. Our server made informed suggestions based on fav’s from he and returning customers. Excellent service—-What a gem!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Rainbow Dragon is a hidden gem! The General Tso's chicken is perfection – crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. The egg rolls? Absolute heaven. You can taste the love and care in every bite. But the atmosphere tells a different story. The owner is a real character – friendly and welcoming – but you can tell the restaurant hasn’t fully bounced back from COVID. The space feels a bit run down, and these days it seems to cater mostly to video lottery players. Still, the charm of the food and the owner’s kindness make it worth stopping by, even if the vibe isn’t quite what it used to be.

Rainbow dragon has been around for years! Iv been coming here since I was a child and it’s become a bi weekly restaurant for us! Henry is the owner and he is so genuine and kind. The food is great and always hits the spot! We love the almond chicken and spare ribs with fried rice!

We found our new spot! The portions were perfect, they had it ready quickly, and everything tasted great! Not soaked with sauces, not artificial. Just great food! The only thing I'd prefer is more eco friendly packaging but that's takeout for ya!

Another local mom and pop spot located in the Eastside. The interior is spacious and the people working were friendly.  They have some lunch specials that you can get,  which is of good portion.  I ordered the Szechuan Beef over fried rice.  The dish was very flavorful.  I added a cup of egg flower, which was also good.

First of all, let me say the sweet-and-sour shrimp was fantastic. The fried rice was really good. The flavor of the crab wontons was a little off. The service was great. Staff was extremely pleasant. Again sweet-and-sour shrimp was really good. Food was hot and fresh. Food came out extremely fast. Place is a little bit of a dive in one of the seedier strip malls in Gresham. For $12 it was a good value for my lunch. I’m full. Thank you Chu’s I will be back for lunch again someday.

The food wasn’t the best like it used to be??? But service and everything else was fantastic! Super clean and nice atmosphere and environment and super amazingly staff! I’m gonna come back to try more food options!

Not only was everyone incredibly welcoming and friendly but the food was amazing! So glad they are up and running, I'll be ordering from here constantly. Found my new go to to-go spot and it's within walking distance!

My family and I stopped in here yesterday on our way home for Mother's Day and were very impressed with everything that we ordered. We are from Eastern Washington and we unfortunately don't have many Chinese restaurants left that have decent food. However, China Star is definitely one that we will return to whenever we are on the road. The portions were the largest that I have ever seen. The prices were extremely reasonable, and the service was good. We had lots of leftovers which still tasted great the day after. 10/10 🩵

Great food, been to alot of other Chinese restaurants & I will say this is best in a long time.. Super fast service... Shrimp lo mein is very good... Orange chicken & pineapple chicken was delicious... Crab puffs are not too sweet & can taste the crab in them... Sesame chicken was very good... Plenty of room at booths for larger people to fit in them...

First time eating here, was greeted and seated promptly, order taken promptly food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Everything was very nicely prepared with good flavor, you won’t go out hungry. Definitely will be eating here again.

Oh, I absolutely love their eggrolls! They're made with rice noodles, something different than what you see with tons of cabbage, like other places. It's a Mom and Pop place, so it's not fancy by any means. But it will feed a family for a reasonable price.

Came in, there’s no one up front to greet, waited for a couple. I ordered for dining in, less than 5 minutes later they brought me my food. I ordered one of the chef’s suggestions on the menu, a Kung Pow combo (chicken, shrimp, and beef). The looked like throw up, took, they shrimp smelled and tasted spoiled, the rice was cold and seemed like it was at least a day or two old. Very sad and disappointing, Asian food is one of my favorites, I’d would definitely not recommended.

You can't beat the price of their lunch specials. The food is good and it's never busy. Food comes out FAST, usually before we even finish our soup! We eat here often, and would definitely recommend it!

You guys seriously have the BEST food I’ve had in a long time - Megan is such a sweet bartender as well. 10/10 experience, I will 100% be here weekly now & tell everyone I know about this place. Such a great vibe, amazing service, out of this world food - I am just shocked it’s not super busy right now. Canton Phoenix deserves all the business because I haven’t had a restaurant experience this great in years probably. Love love love 5+ stars !!! Thank you so much!!! It's getting harder to find really good, fresh Chinese food these days. Canton Pheonix II Bar had great fresh food and very generous portions as well.
