Sweet and Sour was cut up frozen breaded chicken fingers, cheap sauce from a Sysco truck, and shrimp fried rice so overcooked it was blown up like hominy.

This place is only take out. The food is good, the prices are reasonable.

I only get take out and have never had a totally bad meal, but was a little disappointed with my chicken wings the other day. They were a bit salty. The soup was very good though and I've had a few other items as well. I've been getting food from them for decades. They've been around a long time.

The food is always very fresh, and I always enjoy it. My order was messed up because I asked for one thing and they heard something else. They certainly provided excellent customer service because they provided what I asked for without any problems. Thanks for your excellent customer service!

Only cash, but so worth the trip to the ATM!!! Hands Down, the best I've ever had!!!

Went to grab a quick lunch at this place and found these little critters (Roaches) in my fried rice. First and last time ever eating at this place. Absolutely disgusted. YUCK!!!!

I called in & placed an order for pickup to save time. Upon getting there I am told to wait as the food will “soon be ready” & i basically had to wait for 10 mins as the food was prepared & wasn’t already made. Imagine my surprise when the food came out & wasn’t what I ordered, I ordered the General Tso & got sweet & sour chicken. Please, does this look like General Tso to anyone?!

The food was bad but the service was good. She asked if everything was good and I was very honest in telling her no, and that we didn’t want a to go box. She didn’t offer to compensate our meal or if there was something else we would like instead. I have to leave an honest review, don’t go here. I don’t know how people eat this stuff. The sweet and sour chicken looked like Tyson chicken nuggets drenched in sauce. My chicken was supposed to be deep fried but the fried part was kinda gritty. I didn’t want to eat more because I thought I would get food poisoning. Also the wontons were not good either. The spite didn’t have enough syrup, the rice wasn’t soft and was a bit crunchy. It was overall a bad experience.

The food was sloppy and distasteful. I can tell it was thrown together. I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER eat here and NEVER recommend anyone here EVER. The fact that my fiance spent almost 40.00 for this nasty stuff is diabolical 😅

Edit: as of July 16th 2023 still closed :( Super good. Good service. Always nice. But haven’t been open in weeks. There’s been a sign on the door for 3 weeks or maybe more that says 8/8/23 to 8/8/15. Idk what that means, I was there before the 23rd of July and it was closed. And then says closed for vacation. I hope they open back up soon because they are good but have tried to go many times and the sign is still up and a few months ago had to same thing. Very confusing as it says open online and the phone still rings and voicemail said open with the hours so have drove there for nothing.

Stopped in for lunch today since I live right down the road and they finally opened. 10/10, highly recommend. I got the 1 side and 2 entree pick a meal and got so much food its more than I can eat in one sitting, for $10. Really good prices for today and the food is great as well. In the photos are the spicy orange chicken and coconut shrimp. Both a great, shrimp was cooked well. Other plant is broccoli and beef with miso soup. Both taste great too. Highly recommend stopping in.

I’ve been here twice. You simply can not beat the value. It’s all fresh and the restaurant is super clean. The portions are HEAVY! The price is extremely affordable. I ordered the 2 entrees and 1 side-less than $10. The photo shows my LEFTOVERS! The ONLY complaint is the food is rather bland. When I reheated, I added soy sauce and chili pepper oil to spice it up. It was good the first meal, and delish the second!

I was torn between 3-4 stars. The sesame chicken combo was good. The sauce was a little different than I’m used to. The honey chicken had the honey in a cup instead of on the chicken, which was different. I’ll probably be back.

Always consistent, fast, and delicious! Whenever we’re feeling Chinese food, this is where we go. Never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend!

Upon walking in the store, I was happily greeted by the women at the counter. I, and a friend of mine, decided on getting the sesame chicken with white rice. We were told that it would take 10 minutes for our food to be prepared and served, and it was, I was happy to see that they stuck by their predicted time and served us our delicious meal. The first bite of the meal was heavenly, each chew I took, I savored. I ate my meal UP and enjoyed every bite. Thank you Chef King for providing your lovely service, your delicious food and everything that you’ve provided.

The BEST Chinese around!!!! I pick up food and drive it to friends in Wayne County! Just fabulous!

Very disappointed. From recent reviews I had hoped this was going to be my new go to place but it's not. The veggie lo mein was not good. There's not many veggies and the veggies in it are odd compared to the veggie lo meins I typically receive. You can tell from the picture that the large wasn't even halfway filled. Not worth $10. I didn't like it enough to pay $4 for it. It's probably not going to get ate. The 1st picture is chicken w/cashews (half of what they served is on a plate and missing from the pic). Also not good, but more edible. The fried rice wasn't cooked enough as it was crunchy. The chicken was tiny, breaded, fried and overcooked. The more I ate, the more my mouth had the taste of fry oil, not the flavor of chicken w/cashews. Once I removed all of the fried chicken it was an improvement. Now it's veggies and cashews with fried rice. I should have made my own white rice, no comparing my rice with what they served. I will not be going back. The customer service was very good and friendly.

Travel a bit further if you want on point. In a pinch you will get something a tad bit better than frozen. But wouldn't treat the wife or someone special. Better options closer to Henrietta.

I could see lots of negative review on this location. But, as up now. It’s been two times I been here in the same week. Good food. I for sure recommend it. Only reason I see that it’s getting low reviews is because of near competition with fake accounts. Trust me. The place is good.

This was the most tasteless and bland Chinese food.I've ever had absolutely no flavor at all. But honestly. It looked in smell great Would not recommend

Got takeout for lunch. Plenty of variety on the menu, everything that you would expect. The lunch combo is a good value. The location is nothing special but the kitchen looked like it was up to standard. Egg rolls were nice and crispy.

We love New Mun Yuen! We've been enjoying the delicious food and great service for many years. It's been our go to place for quick, consistently good take out. No matter what dish you try, you won't be disappointed!
