My experience at Hao restaurant was pleasant. I went there for lunch, because I had been wanting some Chinese for a few days now. The overall service was , expedient yet not friendly. In the sense and overall feel was plain. Quaint and much as if, dinning at the library feel. The food was excellent and cleanliness, impeccable! The Lunch special menu also had several options to pique your interests. The added option for "spiciness" was a nice option. The prices were good and seating, very plentiful. Booth or table. An overall good experience, what is lacking would be the "Smiling and friendly customer service".

Excellent, went before it got busy with customers seated and to go. The rice noodles with tofu were perfect, a true measure of a great chef. The house special dried eggplant was surprisingly amazing. Light, crisp crunch, soft in the middle, light as air. The chili powder mix is a light zing. Both of these dishes turned out to be the server's favorite, and I can see why. It was a delightful textual contrasting meal and with just the right amount of taste. Great friendly service, clean, warm, and inviting. Bon Apetit!

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese(Halal) cuisine. I placed an order for takeout. I was informed the order would cost an extra $4.00 if I used a credit card. Prices for small and large dishes are not much different. Food is good but lacked flavor. The noodles were undercooked. This is a halal restaurant and serves no pork dishes.

Seems like a new Chinese spot. Food was standard chinese takeout affair, we ate in but it was in the containers they give for takeout. Clean, nice seating, they even had a high chair for the baby. We got Szechwan beef, general Tso chicken and crab rangoon. They gave rolls and soup. Enjoyed the dumpling soup. Glad a new halal chinese is around. 5 stars because of price. It was very well priced for great portions.

Hot Wok is a tiny, non-descript restaurant off the grid in a commercial-office neighborhood. It doesn’t look like much inside or out, but the service is good, the food good to fantastic, the prices reasonable and the food is serviced quickly and hot. They process a lot of take out orders for the lunch crowd when I visited. The only downside; the dining area could use some updating….it is a bit dingy. Also, it is difficult to find street parking at lunchtime although the walk is not as far as it seems.

Such a lovely hidden place! Portions are huge, prices are affordable, staff is so friendly!!! Looked like all the dishes, whether rice or noodle dishes, can be made vegetarian. My friend and I had lunch specials - combo of a soup (for us it was sweet and sour) and your choice of protein with rice or salad. The sweet and sour soup was made with eggs so the lady kindly offered me to make a veggie soup for me, can you imagine?! So sweet! My tofu dish she said is vegan, no fish sauce or anything like that! If you’re in the area I strongly suggest you stop by!

We had lunch here. They have a simple menu with appetizers, noodles and rice dishes. The soup dumplings were very light and flavorful. Chive pancakes were crispy and golden. Beef in the noodle soup was extremely tender and my ramen was also yummy. Everything is great. Highly recommend!

I will be very honest we stumbled upon this place and we were very happy we did! Everything was so good and fresh. The chicken ramen was so good homemade broth and homemade noodles with crispy and tender chicken is a must try. And the scallion pancakes are amazing. The drinks are also a 10 out of 10. I’m not a boba type of girl but this place made me love it. Please come and try it for yourself. I’ll tell you a joke but I’ll never tell you a lie it’s a must try. You won’t be disappointed. And it’s a newly opened so show some support!

I dare say that the Beaver St. Yips is a legend in the Financial District. I think that nearly everyone who works in the area knows about this place. And why not? The food is really good, the portions are generous, and the price is right. What more do you want? I’ve had most things on the menu through the years, and have almost always loved my dishes. The hours are quite short and restrictive, and they could make a lot more money if they stayed open longer. But if you can make it in before 5 PM, then you should check them out. You’ll see why this place is an institution for us native New Yorkers.

Found Yip off of Google Maps because I was craving Chinese food so I decided to give it a try. What you’re seeing is 2.3 pounds of food. Food is priced by the pound and it’s $9.99 a pound. As for the food, this is a pretty good Chinese buffet. As you may or may not know, Chinese buffets are hit or miss. This place is definitely above average for what you’d expect. Teriyaki Shrimp was very solid. BBQ and Sweet chicken was really good as well. The wings are what you’d expect at a typical Chinese restaurant. Plantains were ripe and delicious. Rice wasn’t packing a lot of flavor but it wasn’t bad. It helped offset a lot of the other food. The general tsos is the only thing I’d give a 0/10. Soggy, undercooked, and cold. Would I come back? Yes. Will I come back? I probably will. Hopefully next time around I don’t end up packing my plate with 2.3 pounds of food.

We got the sweet and sour chicken and weren’t super impressed. The fried rice had nothing in it? Maybe the other dishes are better. Service was good though, fast and kept up on drinks.

Food quality was sub par. I got shrimp and scallops stir fry. Sauce was tasty but the seafood was poor quality and rice wasn't great. Interior is in need of updating, painting and cleaning. A lot of clutter and disorganization. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Food was bland, and it was nearly impossible to communicate with the servers who could only speak one or two words of English. To order, we were given a disposable menu, and had to circle the menu selections. In my instance, the menu had already been used by another patron, so I had to cross out items, and recircle my choices. Left exhausted and disappointed. Check it out and see what you think!

We had 6 of us asked to split the check in two 3 and 3 we came at 745pm there was very, very little food. 2 of the people in our group didn't even eat cause there wasn't enough food to eat. They refused to make any more food because they said it was the end of the night when we got our bill. They charged us a $122, 46 people to eat a buffet that had no food on it, and they refused to make any more and 2 of us didn't even eat. Where is a $122 coming in? They only had 2 rows of food that wasn't even a regular Chinese like. Are you guys serious right now? They are horrible. Do not eat hair. Their food is horrible. Their service is horrible and they will overcharge you. They also, this is a buffet mind you I took a $17 tip for themselves out of our bill. They added it to our bill. They didn't even do anything for us. It was a self serve bar. By far one of the worst experiences me and my family have ever ever had.I will make sure that they will never be able to do that to another person again. This was the most horriblest place i've ever been to in my life .

We came in the last hour before they closed. The food was fresh and they even put more out for the ones that were empty. Service was great very friendly

I don’t care what anyone has to say. I grew up eating at this restaurant and it broke my heart when i heard they closed a few years back. I’m glad to see them up and running again. Never had a bad experience here and the food is consistent and great tasting.

I ordered rice-noodles with veggies, no meat, because I am vegan, I asked for it to be cooked in soy sauce, I asked for mushrooms and carrots specifically... the lady did not speak plainly to wear I could understand her and apparently she did not understand me. She brought out a plate with veggies and a plate with dry, white rice. The veggies did not even have mushrooms. I told her that is was not what I wanted. So after my husband helped me explain to her what I wanted, and I showed her a picture off of the internet, then she brought me rice noodles with a little green veggies of some sort, but hardly no carrot, and there was not one mushroom, plus it did not get cooked in soy sauce. The worst part was that it was oily and it had EGG IN IT! I do not eat any animal products. This whole visit was disappointing. THEN THEY MADE US PAY FOR BOTH DISHES, EVEN THOUGH I STILL DID NOT GET WHAT I WANTED AND THE FIRST ONE WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED! My husband and I were both upset and I was so frustrated that I went to the bathroom and cried before we left. I don't think I will ever come back. It was a terrible experience.

Affordable and absolutely delicious. I've been twice for the buffet and it's been great both times. Never had an issue with a dish being cold or anything like that. It's always been good. The staff are kind, and the restaurant is beautiful. Never had anything on the buffet I didn't like. Only complaint I have ever had is the ice cream being mostly empty, but that's not enough to really stick out to me lol. Absolutely wonderful place

I was 🤔 skeptical of a Chinese restaurant in rural Tennessee however I was pleasantly surprised. Good food, good folks, good service, at decent prices. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Restaurant was clean and food was very good. I was impressed by the flavor and freshness. The bbq pork on a stick was so darn good. Coconut shrimp was also tasty. Tap water was really gross. I thought it would have been filtered. Service was also great. The young ladies were attentive and were very helpful. We were there until almost 8pm and fresh food was still coming out.

Fantastic food, even at just 40 minutes before closing. Food was hot and delicious. I was seated right away and the service was attentive and friendly. I will certainly be out there again!

We walked in 40 minutes before closing with minimal expectation. When we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and seated us with joy. The food was fresh, which was amazing based on time of evening. Drinks were refilled before empty, and empty plates removed within seconds of finishing. Extremely impressed with the quality of the food and service. Friendly, clean, delicious! Best Chinese buffet I’ve had in years!
