This place is amazing! We ate here on our first night in San Francisco and we were really tempted to go back, but we had to try some other places while we were in town. We ordered the Spider Pan Fried Bao, Green Onion Pancake, Crab Puff, Steamed Pork Bao, Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken Bao and the Ghirardelli Chocolate XLB. Everything was great. We liked the Steamed Pork Bao the best. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Although some dishes were a bit too salty for my taste, they still had great flavor. I particularly enjoyed the fun presentation of the noodles. Friendly staff. Fairly priced. We visited on a holiday weekend, so the restaurant was quite crowded. We had to wait about half an hour for a table. This place appeared cleaner and more modern than many of the nearby restaurants, which is why we chose it, and we're glad it lived up to our expectations. The toilet was clean as well.

Hunan House sits in the heart of Chinatown, they have a vast menu with every dish the average American is familiar with and MORE! This was the absolute best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Full disclosure, I’m a Texas native and to my knowledge, there’s no Chinatown in our entire great state. We had a party of 9, each ordered 2 dishes to try as much as we could and every dish delivered! The management and staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating. This is definitely one I would recommend to everyone!!

Great Chinese food, cannot go wrong. We love all the dishes, especially the rib dish. The price is reasonable. Would eat there again.

We walked in and were warmly greeted by the staff. Our waitress was particularly friendly and chatty. We ate the Fish Cakes, Pork Kidney w/ Ginger & Onion, and Shrimp w/ 3 Kinds of Mushroom. The pork kidney dish was unique and really good. We liked everything.

Maggie was fantastic! I ordered the beef and broccoli and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was. The broccoli had that perfect Asian-style tenderness and seasoning — absolutely delicious. The beef was juicy and well-cooked, and the overall dish hit all the right notes. Great service, great food. I love the white rice too! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food is amazing! Great portions :) my kids loved the food, my parents too. Highly recommended. You get hot black tea, really good. The sweet and sour soup is for 6 people lol

Delicious Chinese Food in town. We ordered Chaw Mien beef and chicken, both dishes were tasty. Even though we needed to wait for few minutes until the food arrived, the waiting was worth it. Moreover, the price was affordable. The resto was clean and there was a toilet for customers. I liked the chili sauce because it wasn't too spicy and a little bit sour.

Ordered delivery and was not disappointed. Food was delicious and authentic- especially the Hand Shredded Cabbage Stir-Fried with Chili, Chongqing Numbing Spicy Noodles, and Tea Smoked Duck! Highly recommend these 3. Just okay was the Dan Dan Noodles. Spicy Wonton w/ Chili Oil was also good though it wasn't spicy enough.

My son and I stumbled upon Spicy King when visiting China Town, and we loved our meal there. The atmosphere was great. It seemed modern and traditional and bold and precious all at the same time, and it worked! Our waitress was kind and gave made recommendations for dietary restrictions. We were served a nice pot of tea. I had the house cold noodles and green onion pancakes, and both were delightful. My mouth is watering now thinking about it!

This is a hidden dimsum gem we found on google maps. They didn’t take card, at least for our orders. The price was better than other dimsum house in Chinatown area. The portion was generous and food was delicious. We ended up bought more to-go because we found that food elsewhere was not delicious and more expensive. The owners were nice and happy.

The food is authentic and cheap, my meal was less than $10. They don't speak English or Mandarin very well mainly Cantonese (but that usually means it's authentic), so make sure you know what you want by using using numbers on the menu, Google translate or pictures. 10/10 and Ive had dimsum from around the world. But cash only!

If we are talking Best Chicken Wings in San Francisco…this has got to be it!!! Located in Chinatown. Not only should you have their wings but also their minced beef with string beans….perfect combination with their fried rice! SFPD eat there so it means they are affordable and very good too!

Capital Restaurant in Chinatown is a true gem. The prices are super reasonable, and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is always delicious, made with great quality, and the service is consistently attentive. Their famous chicken wings are an absolute must-try—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive! Whether you’re dining in or taking out, you can always count on a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

No exaggeration… best Peking Duck I’ve had in my life. We had the 6 course dinner that was a surprise with every dish. Innovative, complex and a delight to the senses. Not a mystery why they have earned a Michelin star. Service was impeccable and served with passion for the food. ALDA was incredible ! She was knowledgeable, worldly and her love for this establishment and its products showed through. We had to ask Ethan to come to the table so we could express our gratitude. Fantastic food, hospitality and artistry.

The servers went above and beyond for giving us a great anniversary. The food was pretty good, but it was a bit steep for the price. A lot of the dishes were creative. Depending on the seating location, the background noise can be very loud at sometimes.

Super yummy dim sum and incredibly inexpensive… no place to seat and eat it’s more of a gab and go.

We always know DELICIOUS dim sum will have FRESH made dim sum. We take it to go. My favorite is the shrimp dumpling but we love everything. It's probably easier and quicker if you know what you want. I take screenshots😊 ENJOY!!!

Very cheap. $10 for dim sum for two people. Medium quality only. One of the three steamed dumplings I had was good. The turnip cakes were OK. Counter service only though they have one table to sit at.

They offer a great selection of dim sum on-the-go. First off, they weren't busy when we arrived around 1pm on a weekday, so that was nice. The lady serving us didn't speak English so we basically had to point at what we wanted. Luckily she had some trays out, otherwise I don't know how we would have been able to tell her what we wanted since there wasn't a menu in English. We ordered 2 steamed buns and 8 dim sum all for $9.80. Such a great deal! We ordered to go which put our whole transaction under 5 minutes. Definitely worth a visit!

Gourmet Kitchen just several doors up north to socially popular Good Mong Kok Bakery on the bustling Stockton street in Chinatown is the bang-for-your-buck lunch place while working downtown or nearby. In addition to a variety of traditional Cantonese-style dim sum the best bargain in my view is its signature $8 three items lunch over plain or fried rice (or noodles) including fried shrimp, steam-fried fish (Tilapia), sweet sour pork, pork ribs, pork stomach, as well as a variety of vegetables including cauliflower, green beans, bok choy, eggplants, mushroom, broccoli, etc. Also, it’s steamed pork veggie buns (菜肉包子)are really tasty, only $5 for a total of 3 or 4. However, imhv avoid its Congee of Thousand-Year-Old eggs with shredded pork(皮蛋瘦肉粥) because its plain and not enough ingredients inside. The location also has a few tables for customers to sit down for a quick bite, which Good Mong Kok Bakery does not have. It's an affordable ideal location for a takeout lunch box in Chinatown with easy access to Muni lines 1, 8, 30, 45 and T line. Under the current economic circumstances finding an affordable lunch place with real food (of course not every day) not a mere popular yet inflated name is imperative yet smart to survive financially and healthily.

** Amazing Dining Experience!** I recently had the pleasure of dining here and it was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a beautiful interior that sets the perfect mood. The food was absolutely delicious--every dish was a delightful burst of flavor, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The [chicken feet] was a personal favorite, and I highly recommend it! The service was top-notch; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. It's clear that the team takes great pride in providing a great experience for their guests. If you're looking for a place with excellent food, great ambiance, and exceptional service, this place is the spot. I'll definitely be coming back!

I ordered a chow mein- noodle combination and came with 2 shrimps and a couple pieces of chicken and pork. Small portion and lots of onions and green onions, this portion wasn’t enough for me, I ended eating my son’s food as well. My wife ordered a chow mein pork soup, I had better soups before in different restaurants. Soup size is good much larger than the noodle and same price $16. They charge 15% directly in the bill, I don’t know if it’s from the regulation of the city or something from the restaurant, so be aware to don’t pay service 2 times. They have restroom in the lower floor. Hard to park in this area! Wheelchair friendly.

I was staying in SOMA for a few days for a work conference, and halfway through it I decided I had enough of the hotel’s attempt at diverse food (why serve curried vegetables without rice?!? and why did they purée a chicken tortilla soup?!?) I needed some dumplings and noodles, pronto. Found this place. Walked in around 5PM on a Thursday, I was the only person dining in but there were several takeout orders. The lady was very friendly and changed the music to something she guessed I would enjoy. I was amused that the default cutlery on the table was a fork, but since I was ordering in Chinese she quickly swapped that out for chopsticks. I got the wonton noodle soup and salt and pepper tofu. I asked for the noodles to be cooked extra soft since I was dealing with some pain, and they accommodated. I finished all my food and waddled out of there a happy camper. Is it a knock your socks off meal? No, but it scratched the itch and I was happy.
